MageLO 287 Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM Hello everybody, today we're releasing our in-house Gamersfirst Anti-Cheat, we have spent the last few months pouring all available resources into the project and are excited to finally release it to the public. However, this Tech is extremely advanced and is bound to have some issues so we're going to keep a list of all known issues related to GFAC in this thread! Additionally, if you encounter an issue related to GFAC we would like you to post about it in this thread and try to keep unnecessary chatter to a minimum as this is not a feedback thread. Known Issues: Users get met with GFAC Communication Error C when GFAC is not installed on their main drive. (Issue identified - Fix being worked on) Some users crash when selecting their EU characters. (Investigating - For now you can select an NA character first after which you should be able to log into your EU character) The game does not start on Processors that do not Support AVX2 (Investigating) Some users encounter the following errors when loading GFAC: 2427 - 4003 - 4004 (Investigating) In your report please include the following: A screenshot or video of the error/issue you're encountering. Details on when the error/issue occurs. Date and Time of the issue. Are you using any sorts of file edits? (Configs) Your relevant Computer Specifications such as: Processor. Graphics Card. RAM. What kind of drive APB is installed on. (NVME/SSD/HDD) Operating System. Anti-Virus software. We may also reach out privately to ask for more details but the above should help us track down issues so we can fix them as soon as possible! Thank you for your cooperation. Victoria97 37 Posted yesterday at 02:23 PM (edited) Details when error occurs: when i start APB launcher it scans all files and updates them, then shortly GFAC window appears saying Updates completed successfully. When i hit start button, APB.exe shortly appears in task manager of active processes and shortly shows mouse loading animation like its loading and then after few seconds it just vanishes from the list and nothing starts and nothing happens. I dont get any direct message of any error. I excluded GFAC from my anti virus so NOD32 should be not an issue. I noticed GFAC installed in directory \Program Files and not in directory \Program Files(x86) where is my APB installed. Maybe that can be the issue? edit: i moved GFAC to \Program Files(x86) root folder and the problem still persists so that can be excluded as potential issue. Date and time of the issue: UTC time 2:10 PM Thursday, July 31, 2025 Usage of configs: I use Flaws config and edit for APBEngine file and BaseEngine file for removing cap of fps from 100 to 145 where is maxclientframerate set to = 145 in both files. Since multiple scanning and repairing process i started each time, I removed all those configs so game is in the vanilla default state without any configs at the moment and it still is same issue of not starting itself. My Computer Specifications: Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB RAM - 12,0 GB What kind of drive APB is installed on. (NVME/SSD/HDD) - Intenso SSD ATA 1 TB Operating System - Windows 11 Pro version 22H2 Anti-Virus software - ESET NOD32 Internet Security Thank you in advance for any help. SirNooch 3 Posted 23 hours ago When running the GFAC installer I instructed it to install to G:\GFAC . It installed most of the files to that directory but it also dropped 4 files in C:\Program Files\GFAC the default folder My Computer Specifications: Processor - AMD-based Graphics Card - AMD-based RAM - N/A to this issue What kind of drive APB is installed on. - N/A to this issue Operating System - Windows 10 Pro Anti-Virus software - N/A to this issue My AV also quarantined GFAC as ransomware but I don't care to share which product that was, and I'm working on exceptions. It would be nice if LO would suggest AV exceptions

Narcof 0 Posted 19 hours ago When I start APB Reloaded through Steam, the launcher will open a window "Updating" when this closes, the APB launcher will scan files, and when this completes I can click 'Start'. At this point the launcher window disappears, and nothing further will happen, when checked there are no APB processes running. APB Reloaded installed through Steam, running using Proton on Linux. CPU is Intel Xeon E5-2667 v2 64 GB ram RTX 2070 Installed to NVMD Drive with 60% free space Linux Mint OS, no anti virus. Prior to this update, APB Reloaded was working fine with no issues. Victoria97 37 Posted 7 hours ago @MageLO update to situation: The game initializes correctly but exits immediately right after this line: 06:41:14 - Log: appRequestExit(0) This means the game called for a clean exit, not a crash. It finished setup, then something triggered an early exit before rendering or gameplay started. Meaning: Game loads its config files successfully. ESET firewall is allowing it (confirmed-made all firewall and antivirus rules and exceptions for APB.exe in binaries, for APB launcher and for APB Exceptions handler). Even paused entire protection to no avail. ConsoleFilter.ini does exist now looking like this: [MessageLogging] Suppress=DevGarbage Suppress=DevNet Suppress=DevData and loads correctly after log reported ConsoleFilter.ini is missing. No crash dump or fatal error occurs. The line appRequestExit(0) is manually called by the app I repaired Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) and (x86) so that can be cut out as potential issue. Possible reason is launcher authentication or server communication problem The game may be closing because it can’t connect to its servers or validate my account. this is log: 06:52:02 - Log: Log file open, 01/08/25 08:52:02, PID 11068. 06:52:02 - Init: ..\APBGame\Logs\ 06:52:02 - Init: OS details: 06:52:02 - Init: Version number: 10.0 (eOsType 14) 06:52:02 - Init: Windows 10 64Bit 06:52:02 - Log: CreateProc APB_Catcher.exe 11068 06:52:03 - Thread: Thread ExceptionHandler created with stack 524288 and priority 'normal' 06:52:03 - Init: WinSock: version 1.1 (2.2), MaxSocks=32767, MaxUdp=65467 06:52:03 - Thread: Thread Main created with stack 4194304 and priority 'normal' 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\ConsoleFilter.ini 06:52:03 - Init: Genuine USER_BUILD exe. 06:52:03 - Init: Genuine SAFE_BUILD exe. 06:52:03 - Init: Version: 3908 06:52:03 - Init: Compiled: Jul 29 2025 12:31:30 06:52:03 - Init: Changelist: 218742 06:52:03 - Init: Command line: -language=1033 06:52:03 - Init: Base directory: C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\GAMERSFIRST\APB RELOADED\Binaries\ 06:52:03 - Init: Character set: Unicode 06:52:03 - Init: Whitelist filtering inactive 06:52:03 - Init: appCycles test took 21.573100 ms 06:52:03 - Init: APBEngine.ini successfully deleted 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBEditor.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBEditorUserSettings.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBCompat.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBEngine.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBGame.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBInput.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBUI.ini 06:52:03 - Log: GConfig::LoadFile has loaded file: ..\APBGame\Config\APBMachineOptions.ini 06:52:03 - Init: Init signal handers... 06:52:03 - Init: Init Terminate and Unexpected handlers... 06:52:03 - Init: ...done 06:52:03 - Init: Computer: -snip- 06:52:03 - Init: User: Administrator 06:52:03 - Init: CPU Page size=4096, Processors=4 06:52:03 - Init: CPU Detected: GenuineIntel 06:52:03 - Init: Using smoothed QPC for timing. 06:52:03 - Init: High frequency timer resolution =10.000000 MHz 06:52:03 - Init: Memory total: Physical=12.0GB (12GB approx) Pagefile=16.2GB Virtual=131072.0GB 06:52:03 - Init: APB game exe identifier: Release_USER 1-32-0_FUEL@849615 Inst:0 06:52:03 - Init: Presizing for 200000 objects not considered by GC, pre-allocating 31457280 bytes. 06:52:03 - Init: Presizing for 400000 objects in StaticMap, pre-allocating 94371840 bytes. 06:52:03 - Init: Object subsystem initialized 06:52:03 - Log: appRequestExit(0) 06:52:03 - Exit: Exiting. 06:52:03 - Log: Log file closed, 0 Which means the game starts fine but exits by command, likely due to an internal silent failure.
