Advanced launcher settings ( i need halp)

i've been the the advanced launcher the last couple of days and i seem to have set the graphic level so low it makes most of the buildings and roads black.
I would if something would explain what the settings do in compact others.

Myself, I never used the "AL"

I have seen vids on YouTube where the graphics were dumbed down to a ridiculous level.
It was like ..... like watching a Potato .... it was horrible.

I hope I never witness anything like that again.

i forgot to mention i want the best fps, i run the game at 1024x768

I have read that Matt Scott wrote that this type of program will not be allowed. Because BattlEye checks if the game files have been modified. In the future, new graphic settings may appear.

You sir have been ill informed. Lord and Savior, Matt Scott, has stated, very clearly, that the dev team, and support fully allow Advanced Launcher to be used. However, eventually, they plan to overtake it, and implement all of it's features first party, with the default game. 

Also, @OP. Try setting your in game stuff to Medium through the launcher first (on the little slide thing that says custom). After that, then edit your settings, because what the launcher lists as (default) is really below minimum settings, and looks like puke. (but it runs like a unicorn on weed, injecting black tar heroin at the same time)

Try to base your settings off of the presets first.
