    Nope, just run IR3-MP2-3PS3/Tagger and pray.  Kinda suffers from the same issue the CSG does in having too many pellets but you straight up just have to stop caring about doing good and vibe with the gun for it to be good.  The clunk of it is why its good/fun to use.

    Thanks for the reply. I like this weapon because of the idea it contains. This cannon is useless due to its performance flaws. Like all other shotguns, it is very limited in use. Even at short range, the use of shotguns is unjustified. The mechanics of shooting shotguns are too complicated, the damage is unpredictable, the particle effects are not optimized and unnecessarily strain the system. Guns like the OCA are much more profitable to use in an enclosed space than any shotgun. A shotgun lacks an advantage where it should be at short range. In my opinion, the SG 21 shotgun should kill with one shot at a distance of 5-10 meters, this really justifies its use.


  2. A very relevant question... When will shotguns become more dangerous than a rubber banana? There is a whole type of weapon dead in your COMPETITIVE game. I believe that the old NFAS specifications were competitive. This weapon ruled where it should rule, and lost where it was needed. Limited fans of a limited style of playing with a machine gun and a pistol are to blame for this. They are also to blame for the nerf impact grenades. A smart person will die once from NFAS or shock grenades, then they will draw conclusions and change the style of the game. A fool will run to scribble complaints and insult players in a game chat. Tell me Matt, why do you listen to fools?

    guns such as the iSSR-C, Coroner, Enchantress, OBIR (HS3), Oblivion, Scout for a while and you'll understand where I'm coming from.

    What I'm recommending is precisely fighting for equal conditions for someone that just started playing the game & someone who has accumulated in-game items. Equal capability to consistently win duel based upon aim mechanics, not relying on RNG (bullet spread) to determine the outcome. This is not only relevant for gold players.

    It's not about guns and how to use them. The game was much more convenient on the Pioneer server than it is now. Let's say I can't use the AP 45 right now because of frame stuttering and target teleportation during shooting. I have a new computer, but that doesn't solve the problem. For a COMPETITIVE game, you need more servers scattered around the world.

    What about closing escalation and backup if the timer is less than one minute?

    How about awarding a penalty medal for 30 seconds of inactivity?


  3. I envy you. You must be playing a different game. In my game, TTK is determined by the presence or absence of delays and lags. In my game, a character dies from two pistol shots. In my game, it is not clear whether the bullets hit the character or not. Competitive play should have equal conditions, but APB cannot provide them. Everything you are talking about is relevant for a bunch of gold players.

  4. Maybe it's a coincidence. My PC turned off yesterday and today while playing APB. After rebooting the computer, the APB.exe file was damaged, and the shortcut on the desktop stopped working. Today, like yesterday, the computer worked all day. I used different applications, a browser, 3D modeling programs. In the evening, I launched the game and entered the district, a blue screen of death appeared, the video card stopped giving any signal.

  8. The storytellers' arguments about old PCs are complete nonsense. The frame rate in this game is very important. The gameplay is very dynamic. But the game is not able to provide it. This is the root of the problem. I think that any modification of the game files should be prohibited. But before that, you need to roll out a patch that somehow miraculously solves a bunch of performance problems, removes stuttering, bugs related to high FPS, and optimizes particle effects.
    If this is not possible in the current state of the developer studio, then you can go the other way. Just double the kill time. This will give a lot of extra time for the player to react. Now this time is being consumed by the shortcomings of the game and the server.

    Matt, pay attention to the point of view of this community member. This is the point of view formed by the players who just come into play. They don't know about the Flavs configs, the mouse settings, the stretched screen, and other fraudulent client modifications that YOU HAVE ALLOWED. These modifications are essentially cheating.

    The developers demonstrate this all the time. They are engaged in the project as a hobby, not pursuing any commercial interests.


  13. I was hoping that inter-district matchmaking didn't involve a loading screen. The loading screen may be removed. They may fix the garbage problem. But I can't believe it - they often sabotage themselves. I think it's worth allowing players to cancel a match in another area, but at the same time the player should receive a message that he will not wait for the mission, and if he does, it will be unbalanced. The quality of the matches has improved, and I enjoy the fact that the opponent is my equal in strength. The matches are exciting and interesting. But it doesn't always happen that way. I believe that gold and bronze players should not meet in the same match. It's just genocide. The matchmaking system should also assign players to districts based on the player's abilities. The number of players in the district should not be a priority, because often the player gets the same opponent from mission to mission. It is important to break down the players by skill level. This will avoid frequent district changes. In general, the new matchmaking is really something new and promising to develop. You should avoid taking long breaks between improvements to this system, otherwise all efforts will come to naught.
    The anti-cheat is working really well, the game is not as stuffy as before. I'm worried about players with a modified client. Yes, the game works better, but they get the advantage. Such players can be easily identified by their playing style, character movement, and other details. I believe that self-respecting developers should not allow such things. As a compromise, it is necessary to modify the graphics settings menu, and then block any client changes outside the game menu. The game was released 15 years ago, any arguments related to the state of your PC are inappropriate and ridiculous.
