  1. The anti-cheat is apparently already working in the game. I assumed this based on two things. First, the game doesn't work well. Secondly, I received an 8-hour restriction on the use of explosive packages.

Please take the information from the players seriously. Provide information about what can and cannot be done. Do not repeat the bitter experience of previous years when a bunch of players were banned because of translucent windows in the graphics editor. A few years ago, an anti-cheat gone berserk banned a lot of my friends. The support completely ignored them. They left the game with a feeling of hatred for frivolous developers.

It's a shame to watch the degenerate game of cheaters in the game, when friends were banned for drawing in the game.

Please do not ignore this forum. Discord is a dump in which it is difficult to find something! Please provide timely information about the changes. Don't repeat your mistakes.

  2. Matt is the last person you should trust. He has discredited himself many times. This anti-cheat story has been going on for many years. Every time we hear what a wonderful anti-cheat we're going to have, and then all these words go down the drain. Developers have been standing still for many years, wasting resources nowhere. They are negotiating with the developers of anti-cheats to introduce a free version of anti-cheats into the game. The free anti-cheat begins to create a orgy. Matt bangs his head on the handle of the rake again.
I believe that the problem of fraud can be solved by refining matchmaking. Include in the calculation the number of murders, deaths, and the time spent on it.  It is also worth considering the possibility of abandoning the mission before it begins, with the introduction of fines. Most players can figure out who is in front of them. You don't need an anti-cheat for this. There will always be cheats, and their development will not stop. Little Orbits DOESN'T have the resources to keep up with them.

  3. Why all this crap and masterly calculations of characteristics? The problem is not the characteristics of the gun. The problem is with the game. The game does not adequately provide information to the attacked player. Changing the size of the magazine or the power of the bullets will not lead to anything. The players will take the hands of the FBI or Frog. And everything will continue further. New topics about the FBI nerf or Frog will appear on the forum. The gun is not the problem. The problem is the fools who decided that this game (which was originally created as an RPG) would make a COMPETITIVE FUCKING SHOOTER!

I just can't track the movements of the player using this gun. He moves from side to side almost teleporting, without inertia. I hear 1, 2, maximum 3 shots before I die. Never 5 shots. It 's annoying . The players using this gun are very skilled, there is no doubt. But it doesn't have to be that way. The character shouldn't move like that, it looks like a scam, speed hack, teleporter, whatever you want to call it. This game will become a competitive shooter when it can provide equal conditions for all players. She is very far from that.

    1. You spend inordinate server downtime with this stupid matchmaking"fix." It's not a FIX.  Putting in a WORKING ANTICHEAT is a matchmaking FIX.  Bringing back ESCALATION is a Matchmaking FIX. But... forcing players into missions makes playing in an open world impossible and turns the entire thing into an ARCADE GAME... which is really BAD.

    2. Maybe your tiny dev team thinks "doing something" to the game code is an accomplishment.  It's not. You're simply breaking the game further... and eventually, even your tiny loyal core population will vanish.  Look at the HISTORY of this game... things that were POPULAR were having a working anticheat. I realize banning your tiny playbase is self-destructive... so just do TEMP KICKS for 15-30-45 min. per detection... then reset at end of day.. at the very LEAST it will knock down the flagrant rage hacking that goes on, daily, interminably, without any anticheat or GM presence. The game ALWAYS had a core of cheaters.  Who knows.. by now maybe 20%. Listen, when cheaters are FORCED to "closet" essentially hide their hacks... the game was popular and playable... not so much nowadays... you have wall hacks, warping, speed hacks, smooh aim, not to mention macroers.. just an absurd, out of control situation.. and ZERO oversight. Why expect cheaters to "behave" when there's nothing and no one to stop them?  Of course the logical conclusion is preventing any new players or legit plyers from staying.  It's also RIDICULOUS to put the burden of proof on the playerbase to POLICE the cheaters in your game with a WEAK report system... and no staff to sift through.

REMEMBER when LO bought this game, they wanted to remedy the wrongs of false bans and toxic hackusations.  Now you went to the OPPOSITE EXTREME... and created a game with hardly anyone left playing.. new, casual and legitimate players are treated like DOG POO,,, kicked, TK'd, shit talked... treated like toxic, unwanted trash.. and EVERYBODY seems to love the hackers on their teams.. because.. ya know... it takes a hacker to BEAT a hacker. Imagine  thinking a hacker streaming (yes, all hack sites advertise no visibility of hack UI on the stream) will bring new players to this game... while the core of this game is to EXTERMINATE NEW PLAYERS with the most vulgar toxicity, hostility and ostracism. WHAT a DELUSIONAL company.

Your company never even bothers to ask WHY the game is in this condition... but HEY... let's put in a ridiculous "matchmaking FIX" that forces players OUT of the open world and into a gimicky arcade instance (essentially an instance because matches are often ported to basically EMPTY unalive districts) and CHANGE the game structure COMPLETELY.. while keeping the SAME PROBLEMATIC mismatch matchmaking... because, let's face it... doesn't matter if a there's a gold pro, elite player on a team... a wallhacker, aimbotter, full auto macroer will still win... and definitely will screw the game for lower ability teams. We ALL know by now.. hackers aren't always gold... there are NUMEROUS reroll, low lvl accounts where trainees, bronzes, silvers perform MIRACLES...

TRUST ME... the stupid Matchmaking fix FORCING players into matches will NOT make matches fairer.  What will make matches FAIRER... is when you can escalate and bring 10 people to help a couple bronzes unfairly matched against a team of max golds... and a WORKING ANTICHEAT that temp kicks BLATANTS on detection. People want to play in an OPEN WORLD... where they can roam around, chit chat with friends... not be ported into essentially empty and dead, arcade-style instances.

STOP BREAKING THE GAME DESIGN. YOUR COMPANY IS THE WORST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO THIS GREAT GAME.

Confessions of a burnt patootie. Stop taking this game seriously. Take an example from the developers.

  5. AP 45 is an indicator of the current state of the game. The problem here is not the characteristics of the weapon. The problem is how information from the shooter is transmitted to the server and then transmitted to the victim. My usual fight against a player with this gun ends in failure. I will definitely freeze the game. The enemy necessarily teleports to the left and then to the right, without giving a chance to aim. Very often, I don't get any information at all about being shot at. The character loses most of his health before the first shot is fired. Please note that I have no problems with ping. The game outputs 120 frames per second. But I don't use any tricks or modifications of the client. My experience of playing on an American server was also more successful. Because my American opponents reacted with a delay to what was happening.
Based on my observations, I concluded that the problem was not with the gun. The problem is in the game itself, which is not working properly, and in the administration, which is dealing with the next change of unnecessary anti-cheat. I am sure that most of the complaints about cheaters are related to the inadequate operation of the game and the unwillingness of the administration to do something about it.

  6. Recently you had to return the old system of selection of players. Playing now, we can objectively conclude that inter-district matchmaking is much better than the old system of selection of players. Thanks to the new system of selection of players, the population of the server began to grow, missions became more interesting. A huge minus is the loading between missions, which worsens the performance of the game. I hope that by the next major patch we will be able to return to the new matchmaking. Thank you.

I don't think having a oneshot would be healthy for the game (looking at you OSMAW).

But I think having the damage like an HVR or even more whilst being similar to the Joker Gunworks shotgun could be a good 'powerhouse' style shotgun that is similar, but deals more damage and is slightly less controllable. A slight slower rate of fire than the JG (but with an alluring promise of 2-shotting where a JG might have needed 3 shots), a slower reload and a smaller clip. Resulting is a high risk high reward shotgun that doesn't feel outright unbeatable by other shotguns, but if you can manage ammo count and land your shots, then the SG-21 Strife should, in my opinion, be a monster.

Strife for perfection and you should be rewarded. Sadly this ain't a suggestion to stats page xD

OSMAW s the only protection against "players" with a modified client and AP 45. I wonder why developers indulge such players. Some people call them "veterans." As far as I'm concerned, they're just crooks, crooks with experience. Crooks exploiting the vulnerabilities of the game and the rules. Why is this considered the norm? This is not normal.

The SG-21, S-247, H-9, and AR-57 aren't really based on anything besides some chineseium AR platform.  SG-21 should be shooting either 10 or 8 gauge shotgun shells which would mainly be used for building demolition purposes hence their high damage output and clunkyness of the gun.

Nope, just run IR3-MP2-3PS3/Tagger and pray.  Kinda suffers from the same issue the CSG does in having too many pellets but you straight up just have to stop caring about doing good and vibe with the gun for it to be good.  The clunk of it is why its good/fun to use.

Thanks for the reply. I like this weapon because of the idea it contains. This cannon is useless due to its performance flaws. Like all other shotguns, it is very limited in use. Even at short range, the use of shotguns is unjustified. The mechanics of shooting shotguns are too complicated, the damage is unpredictable, the particle effects are not optimized and unnecessarily strain the system. Guns like the OCA are much more profitable to use in an enclosed space than any shotgun. A shotgun lacks an advantage where it should be at short range. In my opinion, the SG 21 shotgun should kill with one shot at a distance of 5-10 meters, this really justifies its use.

  9. A very relevant question... When will shotguns become more dangerous than a rubber banana? There is a whole type of weapon dead in your COMPETITIVE game. I believe that the old NFAS specifications were competitive. This weapon ruled where it should rule, and lost where it was needed. Limited fans of a limited style of playing with a machine gun and a pistol are to blame for this. They are also to blame for the nerf impact grenades. A smart person will die once from NFAS or shock grenades, then they will draw conclusions and change the style of the game. A fool will run to scribble complaints and insult players in a game chat. Tell me Matt, why do you listen to fools?

You should consider fixing your hardware & software stack if you are battling with this amount of lag, where you cannot determine the difference between 0,6s and 1,2s
Your game also seems to suffer from the large bullet spread that's available in the game, as per your second sentence.
only a handful of guns which promise you 100% accuracy in marksmanship mode.
guns such as the iSSR-C, Coroner, Enchantress, OBIR (HS3), Oblivion, Scout for a while and you'll understand where I'm coming from.

What I'm recommending is precisely fighting for equal conditions for someone that just started playing the game & someone who has accumulated in-game items. Equal capability to consistently win duel based upon aim mechanics, not relying on RNG (bullet spread) to determine the outcome. This is not only relevant for gold players.

It's not about guns and how to use them. The game was much more convenient on the Pioneer server than it is now. Let's say I can't use the AP 45 right now because of frame stuttering and target teleportation during shooting. I have a new computer, but that doesn't solve the problem. For a COMPETITIVE game, you need more servers scattered around the world.

    Merged.

A few suggestions for the game:

What about closing escalation and backup if the timer is less than one minute?

How about awarding a penalty medal for 30 seconds of inactivity?

  10. I envy you. You must be playing a different game. In my game, TTK is determined by the presence or absence of delays and lags. In my game, a character dies from two pistol shots. In my game, it is not clear whether the bullets hit the character or not. Competitive play should have equal conditions, but APB cannot provide them. Everything you are talking about is relevant for a bunch of gold players.

  11. Maybe it's a coincidence. My PC turned off yesterday and today while playing APB. After rebooting the computer, the APB.exe file was damaged, and the shortcut on the desktop stopped working. Today, like yesterday, the computer worked all day. I used different applications, a browser, 3D modeling programs. In the evening, I launched the game and entered the district, a blue screen of death appeared, the video card stopped giving any signal.

same, before had stabble 50ms now 60+ and teleporting...

Welcome to the club. I've been dealing with these issues for many years now. Your negative experience once again confirms the need to make changes to ttk due to the difference in server response in different parts of the world.

  13. Is this an official forum or a troll pen? Where is the information!? I read the news about the game everywhere, but not here! Why do you publish information that you are not sure about? Why are you telling me everything you don't know? We don't know what Friday the game will start, we were deceived, we don't control our own game, we were hoping for someone, but we were just dumped.

This behavior is irritating. You promised to share the news with us. Thank you, you're doing it. But think about what you are writing about and what kind of reaction it will cause!

Most of the options you guys are complaining about will likely be added to the game itself so we won’t need configs.

Adding advanced graphics configurations to a game without eliminating the cause is an extremely destructive step.

The game will become even more miserable.
It is necessary to eliminate the reason why players resort to graphics configs. Lags, teleports, a long server response, and other charms have nothing to do with graphics settings. Graphics configs are the only tool (stick-crutch) for correcting the situation in the hands of ordinary players. If developers have nothing to offer but a crutch, then these are not developers, but simple amateurs.
