Is this an official forum or a troll pen? Where is the information!? I read the news about the game everywhere, but not here! Why do you publish information that you are not sure about? Why are you telling me everything you don't know? We don't know what Friday the game will start, we were deceived, we don't control our own game, we were hoping for someone, but we were just dumped. This behavior is irritating. You promised to share the news with us. Thank you, you're doing it. But think about what you are writing about and what kind of reaction it will cause!

Thanks for the information. If the server remains in Los Angeles then this means to me that it is better not to enter the game.

Your question will lead to a predictable dialogue. The game will launch and you will find out about it fairly quickly. I advise you to take a break from waiting and think about why this information is so important to you.

Hard code engine graphic settings
Yapopal replied to Pista's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Adding advanced graphics configurations to a game without eliminating the cause is an extremely destructive step. The game will become even more miserable. It is necessary to eliminate the reason why players resort to graphics configs. Lags, teleports, a long server response, and other charms have nothing to do with graphics settings. Graphics configs are the only tool (stick-crutch) for correcting the situation in the hands of ordinary players. If developers have nothing to offer but a crutch, then these are not developers, but simple amateurs. -
Hard code engine graphic settings
Yapopal replied to Pista's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
The storytellers' arguments about old PCs are complete nonsense. The frame rate in this game is very important. The gameplay is very dynamic. But the game is not able to provide it. This is the root of the problem. I think that any modification of the game files should be prohibited. But before that, you need to roll out a patch that somehow miraculously solves a bunch of performance problems, removes stuttering, bugs related to high FPS, and optimizes particle effects. If this is not possible in the current state of the developer studio, then you can go the other way. Just double the kill time. This will give a lot of extra time for the player to react. Now this time is being consumed by the shortcomings of the game and the server. -
Matt, pay attention to the point of view of this community member. This is the point of view formed by the players who just come into play. They don't know about the Flavs configs, the mouse settings, the stretched screen, and other fraudulent client modifications that YOU HAVE ALLOWED. These modifications are essentially cheating.

I suggest adding a feature for the SG-21 Strife weapon. One-shot murder at point-blank range.

I am pleased with the news about the change in the system of interaction with the car and objects. At critical points in the mission, transportation and delivery related deficiencies in these functions caused a loss. It was very annoying. I hope the innovations will work well.

Is it possible to add an analog of the HO HO OPGL grenade launcher shooting billiard balls to the game? For example, as a reward for leveling up the role of a bomber.

ALL CHEATERS BULLETINS (APB)
Yapopal replied to JOSELA's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I totally agree with you. To clarify my comment above, I will reply. The game has a lot of questionable decisions and flaws that form a distorted opinion among the players. I will list some of them.: Poor server or client performance and the associated delay affect the exchange of information between players. An excellent example of this problem is the topic dedicated to correcting the characteristics of the AP 45. The player takes critical damage without knowing it. Questionable game design decisions. Developers solve the problem of one game system by changing another system. This works on the principle of a plaster covering the current pipe with a new layer of plaster. As an example, I can suggest the deviating trajectory of grenades near cars. Or ghost cars of third-party players. In the eyes of new players, such decisions seem absurd. I agree with them. These are low-grade crutches. I agree with you on the issue of loyalty to the players changed by the game client. In my opinion, this is a clear sign of indifference. The developers demonstrate this all the time. They are engaged in the project as a hobby, not pursuing any commercial interests. -
ALL CHEATERS BULLETINS (APB)
Yapopal replied to JOSELA's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I think that such an opinion about the game is formed due to the large number of negative aspects present in the game. Cheaters play a secondary role here. -
The sound of the gunshot is confusing.

perhaps this limitation is related to the work of the anti-cheat? -

I was hoping that inter-district matchmaking didn't involve a loading screen. The loading screen may be removed. They may fix the garbage problem. But I can't believe it - they often sabotage themselves. I think it's worth allowing players to cancel a match in another area, but at the same time the player should receive a message that he will not wait for the mission, and if he does, it will be unbalanced. The quality of the matches has improved, and I enjoy the fact that the opponent is my equal in strength. The matches are exciting and interesting. But it doesn't always happen that way. I believe that gold and bronze players should not meet in the same match. It's just genocide. The matchmaking system should also assign players to districts based on the player's abilities. The number of players in the district should not be a priority, because often the player gets the same opponent from mission to mission. It is important to break down the players by skill level. This will avoid frequent district changes. In general, the new matchmaking is really something new and promising to develop. You should avoid taking long breaks between improvements to this system, otherwise all efforts will come to naught. The anti-cheat is working really well, the game is not as stuffy as before. I'm worried about players with a modified client. Yes, the game works better, but they get the advantage. Such players can be easily identified by their playing style, character movement, and other details. I believe that self-respecting developers should not allow such things. As a compromise, it is necessary to modify the graphics settings menu, and then block any client changes outside the game menu. The game was released 15 years ago, any arguments related to the state of your PC are inappropriate and ridiculous.

Remove the Balkan trucks from in game
Yapopal replied to Reprimand's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
The problem is not with the truck. The problem is the lack of counteraction to griefing. -
12/15 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
At the last stage of the mission, it was necessary to hold the point. Some player who did not participate in the mission stood at the point. Our team couldn't capture the point. The game simply did not react to the fact that the players from our team were in the point capture zone. -
This topic is as useless as Matt's hour-long chatter. First, they will thank him for the work they have done. He will reply that he is really satisfied with the work done. Then he will touch on the problems so that the community understands that he knows about it. Then there will be vague answers without specifics and commitments. Of course, it will not do without ignoring the really exciting questions. And it will all end with summing up the results of the year. Marmalade speeches. And congratulations. If my predictions are not correct, then answer the question. When will you take your head out of the bucket of screaming veterans and focus on the appeal of the game to paying and interested players? Most of the innovations pursue the interests of a bunch of local old-timers obsessed with fighting. Your game contains a unique customization system. It is this property that has always attracted and attracts newcomers. But you persistently develop the game as a shooter. A low-quality lagging shooter. This genre pulls a huge wagon of crutches. What you're aiming for is pretty easy to achieve. Create a copy of the game with customization disabled, vegas, ntek, AP 45 and Flaws configs. Veterans will worship you and kiss your feet.

Preview from Matt: Christmas Sale 2024
Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
A jumping sniper is an excellent indicator of inadequate perception of developers. You need to add a huge inscription to the screen after the jumping sniper killed some novice. It should say "It wasn't a cheater who killed you, it's just a game mechanic." The same inscription should be added after death from broken guns of the AP 45 type. Matt writes: Mobilize is about bringing back the fun to APB Reloaded. I hope to see you guys in-game. Yes, Matt, esports players in black clothes and a modified client will be very happy. -
12/15 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Yes, indeed the APB process remains in the task manager. I have another problem - the game collapses as if the Win key was pressed. I'm not sure if this is related to the update, because the client was installed after the update was released. The game does not accept the rejection of an offer to change the district. I'm constantly being thrown between crowded districts. Please take care of the balance of the matches. Why change the district for an unbalanced mission? The game should be interesting and not spoil your nerves. Make backup unavailable if there is less than a minute left before the end of the stage. I will add: The automatic distribution of players without their consent has had a good effect on the population. This is encouraging. But the frequent imbalance of the opponents' forces spoils everything. -

Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
The configurations of the Flavs graphics have become very relevant due to the deterioration of the client's work associated with frequent changes of copies of districts. As usual, you take too much on yourself, you spend a lot of time working. But the result is always bad. You spent a lot of time on the 64-bit version, but the quality of the game has not improved. You spent a lot of time on matchmaking and on a new anti-cheat. Matchmaking has earned bravo! But the quality of the matches remained poor! And a new global performance issue has been added. The new anti-cheat is working, they spoil everything for your stupid rules. Your self-confidence is ruining you, you are not calculating your strength and resources. The game is not ready for the new matchmaking system! The pool of players will be reduced even more! Your game becomes a cheat testing tool! -

Ask the developers for a special area for your matches. This is more reasonable than another crutch with ticks. -

Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Look at the root. You need a copy of the district with a population limit of 8 people, with robbery missions disabled, with inter-district matchmaking disabled and marked "team against team". The function you suggested can be used as a glitch. -

Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I wonder where to get a pool of players? Transitions between areas lead to bugs. How to complete a mission if there are no markers visible? Have the matchmaking settings changed? Or will we still be offered missions without waiting, but with a reduced quality of selection of opponents? The efficiency of the system directly depends on the matchmaking settings. If you leave everything as it is, the quality of the matches will not improve. Under no circumstances should beginners meet with seasoned players. Without this border, you will not achieve an influx of players. Publish a list of applications and a list of client modifications that are not available for use. A soft policy towards the gray zone has no less negative impact on the pool of players than cheaters. Any modifications of the client as well as macros should be equated to fraud. But first you should put the graphics settings menu in order. -
Please consider having a Christmas tree in the social district.
