Why all this crap and masterly calculations of characteristics? The problem is not the characteristics of the gun. The problem is with the game. The game does not adequately provide information to the attacked player. Changing the size of the magazine or the power of the bullets will not lead to anything. The players will take the hands of the FBI or Frog. And everything will continue further. New topics about the FBI nerf or Frog will appear on the forum. The gun is not the problem. The problem is the fools who decided that this game (which was originally created as an RPG) would make a COMPETITIVE FUCKING SHOOTER! I just can't track the movements of the player using this gun. He moves from side to side almost teleporting, without inertia. I hear 1, 2, maximum 3 shots before I die. Never 5 shots. It 's annoying . The players using this gun are very skilled, there is no doubt. But it doesn't have to be that way. The character shouldn't move like that, it looks like a scam, speed hack, teleporter, whatever you want to call it. This game will become a competitive shooter when it can provide equal conditions for all players. She is very far from that.

My concern is that the administration doesn't pay attention to this for too long. It was the same a year ago with the anti-cheat. There is also a situation with obvious problems related to third-party configurations and high FPS. LO does not see the problem where it clearly exists and does not hear the community.

04/10 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Confessions of a burnt patootie. Stop taking this game seriously. Take an example from the developers. -
AP 45 is an indicator of the current state of the game. The problem here is not the characteristics of the weapon. The problem is how information from the shooter is transmitted to the server and then transmitted to the victim. My usual fight against a player with this gun ends in failure. I will definitely freeze the game. The enemy necessarily teleports to the left and then to the right, without giving a chance to aim. Very often, I don't get any information at all about being shot at. The character loses most of his health before the first shot is fired. Please note that I have no problems with ping. The game outputs 120 frames per second. But I don't use any tricks or modifications of the client. My experience of playing on an American server was also more successful. Because my American opponents reacted with a delay to what was happening. Based on my observations, I concluded that the problem was not with the gun. The problem is in the game itself, which is not working properly, and in the administration, which is dealing with the next change of unnecessary anti-cheat. I am sure that most of the complaints about cheaters are related to the inadequate operation of the game and the unwillingness of the administration to do something about it.

Please remove the possibility of calling for help if there is less than a minute left on the timer. -
So when do we revive APB?
Yapopal replied to VanilleKeks's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I once owned a Toyota Lite ace minibus with rear-wheel drive. He skidded on any surface. For example, he could slip on wet grass for no reason. This game reminds me of him. The developers are working hard, delving into the task. But it always turns out to be a minibus that is stalling. -

If it takes a long time to launch a new matchmaking service, please reconfigure the old matchmaking service. The situation is just terrible! -
03/27 EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
Yapopal replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Recently you had to return the old system of selection of players. Playing now, we can objectively conclude that inter-district matchmaking is much better than the old system of selection of players. Thanks to the new system of selection of players, the population of the server began to grow, missions became more interesting. A huge minus is the loading between missions, which worsens the performance of the game. I hope that by the next major patch we will be able to return to the new matchmaking. Thank you. -
OSMAW s the only protection against "players" with a modified client and AP 45. I wonder why developers indulge such players. Some people call them "veterans." As far as I'm concerned, they're just crooks, crooks with experience. Crooks exploiting the vulnerabilities of the game and the rules. Why is this considered the norm? This is not normal.

Thanks for the reply. I like this weapon because of the idea it contains. This cannon is useless due to its performance flaws. Like all other shotguns, it is very limited in use. Even at short range, the use of shotguns is unjustified. The mechanics of shooting shotguns are too complicated, the damage is unpredictable, the particle effects are not optimized and unnecessarily strain the system. Guns like the OCA are much more profitable to use in an enclosed space than any shotgun. A shotgun lacks an advantage where it should be at short range. In my opinion, the SG 21 shotgun should kill with one shot at a distance of 5-10 meters, this really justifies its use.

A few suggestions for the game: What about closing escalation and backup if the timer is less than one minute? How about awarding a penalty medal for 30 seconds of inactivity? -

It's not about guns and how to use them. The game was much more convenient on the Pioneer server than it is now. Let's say I can't use the AP 45 right now because of frame stuttering and target teleportation during shooting. I have a new computer, but that doesn't solve the problem. For a COMPETITIVE game, you need more servers scattered around the world. -

A very relevant question... When will shotguns become more dangerous than a rubber banana? There is a whole type of weapon dead in your COMPETITIVE game. I believe that the old NFAS specifications were competitive. This weapon ruled where it should rule, and lost where it was needed. Limited fans of a limited style of playing with a machine gun and a pistol are to blame for this. They are also to blame for the nerf impact grenades. A smart person will die once from NFAS or shock grenades, then they will draw conclusions and change the style of the game. A fool will run to scribble complaints and insult players in a game chat. Tell me Matt, why do you listen to fools? -

I envy you. You must be playing a different game. In my game, TTK is determined by the presence or absence of delays and lags. In my game, a character dies from two pistol shots. In my game, it is not clear whether the bullets hit the character or not. Competitive play should have equal conditions, but APB cannot provide them. Everything you are talking about is relevant for a bunch of gold players. -

The game cannot provide stable communication between players, this is a fact. The distance from the server, low graphics, and server lags compound the problem. Please pay attention to this issue. -
Maybe it's a coincidence. My PC turned off yesterday and today while playing APB. After rebooting the computer, the APB.exe file was damaged, and the shortcut on the desktop stopped working. Today, like yesterday, the computer worked all day. I used different applications, a browser, 3D modeling programs. In the evening, I launched the game and entered the district, a blue screen of death appeared, the video card stopped giving any signal.

Welcome to the club. I've been dealing with these issues for many years now. Your negative experience once again confirms the need to make changes to ttk due to the difference in server response in different parts of the world.

Is this an official forum or a troll pen? Where is the information!? I read the news about the game everywhere, but not here! Why do you publish information that you are not sure about? Why are you telling me everything you don't know? We don't know what Friday the game will start, we were deceived, we don't control our own game, we were hoping for someone, but we were just dumped. This behavior is irritating. You promised to share the news with us. Thank you, you're doing it. But think about what you are writing about and what kind of reaction it will cause!

Thanks for the information. If the server remains in Los Angeles then this means to me that it is better not to enter the game.

Your question will lead to a predictable dialogue. The game will launch and you will find out about it fairly quickly. I advise you to take a break from waiting and think about why this information is so important to you.

Hard code engine graphic settings
Yapopal replied to Pista's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Adding advanced graphics configurations to a game without eliminating the cause is an extremely destructive step. The game will become even more miserable. It is necessary to eliminate the reason why players resort to graphics configs. Lags, teleports, a long server response, and other charms have nothing to do with graphics settings. Graphics configs are the only tool (stick-crutch) for correcting the situation in the hands of ordinary players. If developers have nothing to offer but a crutch, then these are not developers, but simple amateurs. -
Hard code engine graphic settings
Yapopal replied to Pista's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
The storytellers' arguments about old PCs are complete nonsense. The frame rate in this game is very important. The gameplay is very dynamic. But the game is not able to provide it. This is the root of the problem. I think that any modification of the game files should be prohibited. But before that, you need to roll out a patch that somehow miraculously solves a bunch of performance problems, removes stuttering, bugs related to high FPS, and optimizes particle effects. If this is not possible in the current state of the developer studio, then you can go the other way. Just double the kill time. This will give a lot of extra time for the player to react. Now this time is being consumed by the shortcomings of the game and the server.
