@Trivirium wtf are u talking about. I know the difference between old and "new" IR that we got rid of. Finally. My point is that I feel like IR3 is not doing its job on LMGs that I played today, even tho its default range is 65m (according to db). Yet I need to hit the person 10+ times within its effective range to take them down, even tho I did not gave em a single second to regen.

I dont know if its true, but I feel like IR actualy decreases range of my light machine guns. N-SSW and S1-TIC to be more accurate
Today I was nailing those hits deep under 70m and I am sure I did not gave em enough time to regen meanwhile not a single second. Still took a lot of hits to bring them down (8-10+). Dropoff Range is 65m according to database
Still havent enough time to test to be 100% sure, and I dont know if it just me, but something feels odd

- Push the pedestrians off your way. Getting stuck on pedestrian while fighting, and dying cuz of it is hella frustrating.
- If player is hurt while crouching, sprint button does nothing, while it supposed to make the players stand up and sprint automatically This is so god damn frustrating if u die cuz of it. If we are used to standing up and sprinting thx to this butting, it should not betray us in such a hot moment!!!
^ this above are top things that annoys the hell out of me
- Players stuck in the car window while reloading, making them very vulnerable. Allow us to get inside if reloading.
- Allow us to jump off the window if sitting on the window, instead of getting back and using doors. This process takes too much time.
- Allow us to swap weapons while driving
- Allow us to swap weapons while holding an item
- Allow us to reload if driving the car, while not acelerating
- Fix the exploit that makes AI driver dissapear while interrupting an animation. Instead make an AI driver leave the car faster so it takes the same time as performing this exploit.

Why would one use this if they can put IR on instead, with no damage handicap in close range? There is literally no use for it

@LilyV3 thats weird becouse I could swear there was no max bloom difference when I fired with IR3 on my weaponss. Maybe there is a slight max bloom increase Anyway, why would both CJ and IR affect max bloom, while CJ had it even worse? Couldnt find IR3 test vid.

@Kempington If I remember correctly, and it was not so long ago when I tested it myself, IR did not affected max bloom, but bloom per shot. Very "gently" I would say.
Only CJ affects max bloom.
But u were right that ATAC, and MANIC suffered the most. They jumped on its max bloom in 2 shots.

A little thought. Why do IR need any other downside than it already had anyway? Look, we have CJ that has little to no negative effect on certain weapons, For example CJ2 on OCA is like straigh upgrade with no significant downsides, while we can see CJ3 negative effect on it cuz of its high fire rate. HB has almost no downsides on r1 or r2 for certain weapons (but its still not worth it tho, i know.. It needs some love).
IR had little to no negaive effect on any weapon. Its downside was barelly noticeable, mainly on weapons who dont care about how fast they reach max bloom. I say, its old downsides need to be higher.
IR1: Increases maximum reticle bloom slightly. (multiplier 1.1 => 1.15]
IR2: Increases maximum reticle bloom moderately. (multiplier 1.15 => 1.225)
IR3: Increases maximum reticle bloom substantially. (multiplier 1.2 => 1.3)
All what IR need are small tweaks.

Just to be clear.. Literally.. NOT. Its just for us, and for the devs to further polish the game, while APB in UE4 is being in progress, bcs it will take a long time untill its released. UE4 uses different script language than UE3 has so programming APB in ue4 ss basically building from scratch with only use of migrated assets.
Anyway, I also think that APB should go its own way other than trying to achieve realistic graphics. Not only it will be HW requirements heavy, it also looks stupid and pathetic.

Thank you sir, now I like u again I agree with everything u stated.
Both new and old IRs werent perfect, but old IR is the way of lesser evil, and yes it should have been reverted months ago.
Now its time to think about other downsides, becouse IR defenitely needs one that is somehow noticeable, but it does not break anything.

IR had a downside, but it wasnt very noticeable in practice on certain weapons. Both recoil or bloom would naturally force to shoot slower to land these shots, and it makes sence also cuz "if u wanna ur weapon to fire further, it will kick more logically" so it doesnt rly matter which one of these two options would be applied as it is only matter of opinion of everyone of us.
RoF downside is the worst downside they could ever apply for IR as it broke many weapons and pissed a lot of players off.
As somebody has mentioned trade of better range for damage nerf under 15m, I got an idea of IR applying damage nerf just like HB has, as weapon will be more reliable in longer distances while nerf will be rly noticeable in cqc. This could also work. Edited: This one was a brain fart, lol

I like all the thing they did so far
EXEPT for balance changes. This is one of the biggest things that dirrectly affects our gaming experience, and we can clearly see on the statistics, how badly that affected players. They should not have touched IR which affects most of the weapons, and it literaly broke some weapons.

Not worth it. U dont need it unless u r collector. Its not very good for competitive gameplay.

@Fortune Runner u wont hit gold being carried, and if so, u will get back to silver in no time. There is no logic to twist, this is just a matter of approach.
Being carried or abuse is whole different topic that has nothing to do with what I stated. -
I see it the way that since u hit gold level of threat, u are not a newb anymore, and therefore you are thrown into district with a normal players.
This playerbase is made of advanced (or not-noob) players like u, including "pro" players, that you need to deal with. Gold players = normal players. Silver and less = new players.
Maybe u dont wanna embrace it and deal with difficult missions. But u r not a newb anymore, embrace it. -
UE4 upgrade would be kinda like building whole new game, cuz they actualy have to go from scratch, only with migrated 3d assets, and animations. And I think they said they are working on it.
Anyway, I would love to see some game innovation. 8yo game needs it to stay alive. I want this game ready to be competetive just like CS, and watch APB world championships, becouse this game has what it takes to be BIG. And this is also the only way I see this game not to be black hole on money (for owners), bcs I doub that APB is profitable in any way. Thats why G1 was so desperate with new armas shop content, and then failed.
Fresh new animations, frustration free quality of life changes, new car destruction system, rebalanced weapons with a new approach. Also I would love to see daily events like total war between crimes and enfos with objectives that starts at certain time every day and takes 30-60m.- 1

I think these rules are there so any butthurt game justice warrior gets hard times trying to report and ask for ban for such a thing as crashing into you with a car. Just drink a cup of tea, and get over it. It happens to us all. Annoying, yet not a big deal. Its not like he was straight up ghosting u, isnt it?

Yes, yes, ofc, the game is doing fine. Its not that weapons been forced to be an airsoft pewpews. Defenitely not cuz of recent weapons ruining changes. Its all happening by nature cuz apb is old. Is not that people have realized where the game is heading to. No its fine. Forum warriors are pleasured so its all gucci.
But to be fair, many people are just waiting for engine upgrade, and will not log in untill there will be one.- 1

ACES rifle has:
better TTK
damages vehicles more (in time measure)
equips faster
reloads faster
u can use wider variety of mods on it that actualy adapt the weapon into more specific situations
more ammo capacity
better range
better bloom recovery
better accuracy in closer and longer range
better with tap firing
more reliable
Ur opinion does not matter in this case, mate. Curse is absolutely outclassed piece of garbage that has nothing to offer, and does not shine in any aspect of its role.
My biggest gripe on the event. (Area wars but punished for fighting on occupied area because of the gas?)

I just get on advantage possition outside of enemy area and spam the barrels with an OPGL. But sometimes the barrels are on such a stupid spot, its impossible for opp team to get there.
...and its possible to repair barrels also.
