    Gapetta is the first one post  who i see correct, he is a old player and know mechanics from game, being a honest person time i met.

     

    Bad is Ritual will choose " newbies" as gms or inexperienced people to take this important task.......... at least i wish ritual dont choose people who are know to being not neutral, i would like to play without recording all gameplay because i know if one of these are gm will try to perma ban people without reasons as in past

    thank you for answering me, I know you do the impossible and I like how the company works and how professional it is. I have nothing but good words, but fallen earth needs a little more love, strong arguments that make the game addictive again, the game deserves it. Greetings and thanks again!!!

    I'm looking at your ad I have to say that I do not show up, since I have my limitations in English and maybe I'm more about solving problems with words than imposing them with sanctions.

    Besides, if I were gm I would be connected for 24 hours watching the possible cheaters ... I do not know if anyone could feel persecuted !!

    @MattScottSeeing that Matt is doing everything possible to recover the game is something that I like and gives hope. What if I say matt, is that the "Grunch Event" is an event that is already very chewed, since they have put it every year, with the same things and the same bugs (if there have been any other year that they have not put anything in and they have forgotten that the community exists). I already lost all hope in the game given that there is no innovation ... if you make that change ... I'll be back !! a greeting!!!

    I'm hanging out in EVE Online at the moment, but FE needs lost of fixing before I can come back. Here are some of the main issues I encountered

     

    PVE used to be fun until they introduced scaling where we became unable to assist clan members in lower sectors, destroying the way we operated.

    PVE was made much harder at some point making it near impossible to retain newbies.

    Hackers were a nuisance.

    The game had serious balance issues where you had to be a little girl with melee to be "the best PVPer".

     

    Also hi to all the old guys, I still remember some of the names!  I'm going to download and install to see how it is now. After the maintenance 😉 lol.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    It's all as you describe it and now I can say that the weeping trolls have won (those who wanted to destroy the game), you just have to see the steamcharts to realize what I'm saying.

    There is a clear competitive game against fallen earth (fallout 76) that is won by a landslide since this game does not exploit its strengths and its experience in all these years. (and nothing to say about fallout 76 that is full of bugs but they are patching it every so often). I do not want to criticize but it is not worth having so much map in fallen earth when it is played by half of the people who are in a fallout 76 server (the top of people in each server of fallout 76 is 24, by the way). I already said what was my opinion and how the boat would change course in our favor, but no developer puts anything of interest for the game or if the ideas are good or bad, the only thing they give are promises and promises. words that do not go anywhere.

    LO is a very good company but they are working very hard and very well in Apb, they answer the questions from the forums and put new patches, which I do not care since apb is a game that I do not like at all. He has said that he is going to recode the game and has shown images of the last patch buildings that have improved (this seems very good but what people are looking for are "now" and "quick" solutions that make you play the game.

    I'm  not going to repeat more of the same (of the solutions I've provided), since there are people who can bother my opinion and start ranting with insults and bad expressions that I do not have to put up with. I'm free if you want to play the fallout 76 and explore that post-apocalyptic world and take a "nuka cola" with me, a greeting !!

    Honestly, if you manage to really rejuvenate FE with a new engine and anti-cheat, I can really see FE becoming quite popular.     hello to all that you carry the apocalypse, well, I have to say that I played quite a fallout 76 and I have to say that it is much better than I expected, although the only thing I miss in comparison with fallen earth is that the population on the map is quite limited. The atmosphere of fallout 76 is very similar to fallen earth and immersive, you can play fallout 76 without doing pvp at all, there is no lag, and the possibilities it gives in reference to build your own house and take it anywhere (to same as in fallout 4 in the build mode) and most importantly, it seems that the population in the game has a lot of respect for the community, although a character is killed the game searches for the troll and makes a bonus reward (It is impossible to survive since I have tested it). What to say, I like the old fallen earth more than what there is currently with lag, cheaters and without encouragement to offend "more of the same", so well I hope the owners move tab and do something "already" about it, Events is not a solution and a long-term recode is not. so if only to say that the few who are in the game wish you have a nice time, a greeting!

    The problem that I see when redoing the game is the equipment / weapons at level 55 since it is not at the same level, since from the patch of the gores (which took out weapons / equipment) the attributes have increased, I think it is something that could be done nowadays, "equating all the equipment at level 55" with similar or equal attributes in some form or another.

    The anticheat, has no discussion, the game is unpalatable with the excesses of this problem that there is and have been. The proposal of only two maps and give a new beginning was among other things because of the equipment level 55 totally uneven. While the duplicates and others like the lag is a major problem, that although only a total recoding would solve it, but even so if the two maps solve the problem, it would be wonderful.

     

    edited: while putting all weapons / equipment level 55 in two lists. Weapons are only chosen between three and armor between three also, all this having a list of at least 50 in each list of weapons or armor (you can see it in the wiki fallen earth, which is very well done in its entirety of page and very worked))

Why do not you give a coherent solution to resurrect the game "now" or "the immediate present (a month or two)" instead of criticizing the opinions of others ?, If I'm honest, I do not like to see that the game is lost. I would like Matt to expand information and say: Aroa, it is not possible to make your idea because the game does not allow it, and with that I would be clear that the game is totally sentenced

    I repeat for the twelfth time, I do not know if you are blind or you are missing a point. Steam charts is a tool to count the number of active players of any game in an approximate to the most real way possible. I repeat is a tool. If we pay attention to the tool the game does not progress but if it gets worse, a new game code does not guarantee that the game will go better if it is more of the same. This is what I am saying. Your words, the words of buffy the vampire hunter, the words of mickey mouse, the words of harry potter ... are worthless, the facts are in the tools, the steam charts, I think you have not seen it well, in serious (click on the left button of the mouse and open to view lol)

    I expected a response from someone who could update the state of the game since they have not updated it for quite some time. I certainly do not think you care much whether I play or not. you should look more at the global, the steam charts for example, which reflect the obvious

    event seems nice and a very  good  work for " halloween event " ( finally game have a real profesional event), but still game have some issues as lag, dupe items, cheaters, easy crafting and other issues wich makes for me no interesting to play as priority game.

     

    we need " the halloween wipe  server event" hehe

    I've played many years and I guess like many others I'm waiting for the first changes to play again. If I have to start over in a new, but hopefully better, server.. So be it. I love FE and I think we should give FE2 a shot. Not sure what is better.. No items but (assuming it will be more active) people to play with. Or vaults, clan vaults and mounts full with items and a dead game. 

    The game was in trouble for years (I think I said it in 2014) and you know the saying "what bad starts badly ends". The negligence of g1 with the bans, the lag of the game, the total lack of love in the updates (and the last update to the recycled style was the last straw), the cheaters and the not having any kind of protection against them (really is an idiot think that the anticheat are not worth anything, as if it was how g1 acted) ..... these for me have been very serious failures and for the last g1 never communicated with the community and their opinions.

     

    Litle orbit is programming the code from scratch, but the time it can take this is very long. I honestly do not know if it's worth it, given the great work it takes and on the contrary use that great work for a future fallen earth 2.

    although I say this because I know it is possible to regain confidence and make possible a revival of the current falled earth, although amputate the game, choosing only the first two maps and starting from scratch is the best option, and if the game takes root again and gains population, then let it flourish, offering new maps and improved from those two. Really the graphics are not bad, although it is the previously described (lag, dupes, cheaters, lack of love in the updates ...) and consequently all that gives the lack of population. I believe that llitle orbit can improve all this quickly, they have said that they will put anticheat, although they only put two maps there will be no lag, with the restart there will be no dupes and although it is not possible for them ( dupes) to return as there is no lag for create they, and After a new beginning, a large population will be generated that although it will pay and buy many things that will make it more possible for the company to be interested in updating the game (litle orbit seems a company that loves games for what I see), my opinion

    Possibly with only the second map being active for pvp, the madness will explode, the map has very fun locations and the lag would not exist given the low load of the game, apart until level 30 there are many options of equipment and weapons / builds very different to choose and if you add an anticheat to this ... it would be the dream game that would capture any person

    Events do work to bring people back, clearing the game out will be the death of FE. But you are too self absorbed to understand that. Wiping everything just punishes those of us who worked for years to get what we have, so basically you are saying punish every player for what dupers did, just so a few can be happy.

     

    Just watch and see if that happens, it will be the death of FE. Sure it may have hype with 50+ players a few months, but in the end it will be less populated.

    what is dead can not die....... didnt you know? I mean that the population is non-existent (cheking in game or simply watching steam charts that is the same and check it several times)

     

    I care rather that you uninstall or not, I in my case like many others we have stopped playing that is the same.

     

    What I say and I repeat, that with two maps and the current scarce population, the game would be more fun and lag free, and probably attract people to play it and stay in it (I mean the new players that enter). Because of the veterans who have spent a lot of time (I include myself here) I have to say that Matscott keeps the purchases made in the marketplace and maybe matt can give a specific and unique item to those veterans who have played all these years, as a sample of gratitude. You really have to give way to the past and build a new beginning given the bad circumstances that currently exist and is a reality

    events do not work at all, proof of this you have in steam charts. The game is already totally burned, it needs a new face. The duplicates, the cheats, the lag, the doss, the updates of shit ... all of this together you have at the moment in the game. The cleaning to be total, with mouthwash

    agree, only the first two maps, level 30 as maximum for the character, if in the end only connect 50 people at least it would be a game without lag and fun.

     

    if instead, there is an explosion of players (which surely will) work on the following maps and tell the population of future updates, although this would add gameplay, money and new life to the game

    although I remember words like "if there is new beginning I do not play the game" or similar. It is obvious that there are no solutions in the short or medium term with this of the total remodeling of the game and obviously it is a costly option that nobody can assure that it is finally done or that it can bring a populated game. It is obvious that for 30 people there is no possible recovery, it is pathetic and nobody wins anything

    to be on the lookout to see what happens, you're not the only one who does it, a lot of people do it m( i am only watching too what happens and i am tired of watch lately). But the bad thing is that people will end up getting tired of seeing what happens and will never come back. I understand that some people do not like the idea of new server / new company / new history and if it can be starting from scratch from the first two maps and update them in a way that the game remains oriented to the original idea better. I already decided in July what to do and I have proposed the best possible idea to save the game, since a new server with better graphics will not improve the history of a game that although from the third map has lost all the essence. Seriously, the game does not motivate me at all and it is not because of whether or not they make a new server, but because of its content, since it is currently bad and if they reseed it with what there is currently, nothing changes.

    Yeah do those sick mission aps. What's that boss? Do a 30 minute back and forth talking quest for 1 ap? Ohh that sounds like just the best. Collection of books?     800k faction points are easy. That huge point gain area in deadfall might be useful in this aspect, but hey why bother with that one.

     

    No matter where you are outside a starter town or main town the game will seem dead. Hell pop is typically seen depending on capital cities in games anyways and sorry to say but even if everyone constantly afked in the capital city of your choice it would still seem dead.

     

    You could have the best of the best anti-cheat you will still have people cry foul. Hell look at csgo, which is typically seen as fairly solid for anti-cheat and people still screech like smart monkeys about cheaters.

     

    And I'm saying is you do not want to waste a golden ticket. Once games lose players or fall by the wayside there are not many opportunities for it to reestablish itself or revive. It'd be stupid to hack off a bunch of the game to midlevel and go 'here guys come play again'. The only real improvement you get is a bigger pool of weapons and that's it. All the same issues are still there in spades. Perfectly done up till s2? What drugs are you on? You can run into bugs 5 minutes in.

     

    Curious what is this 'cadejo' bug or is it just a broken mission?

     

     

    edit to clarify: This game of grab patootie is great and all but we aren't about to agree on this. You want the game to just be shrunk and be thrown up again with advertising for this while they work on it so as to have something(I perceive this as a cash grab...aka what gore was). I disagree because rebooting or relaunching a game can only happen so much and FE is lacking in MANY areas, plus there is the fact I view your idea as a cash grab that would ultimately cause more harm than good(yes even if the first 2 sectors are 'perfect'). I'm not about to agree as from my perspective this would be like the handling of alpha county...the fabled '4th sector' that people talked about and was hinted at since FE's original launch under icarus. It ultimately flopped as a play from them and the main thing that maintained pop at this point was their move to f2p.

    If the maximum level was 30, the game with two maps would be perfectly adapted, I already checked it, and the bosses exist only that most of you have to find them inside bunkers, but even so it would be very complete with the special unique bosses that come out every certain moment (I would raise this status so that they would show up more easily)

     

    about getting ap, the system of missions, races, special events, makes the game more fun. It gives real disgust to see how in 30 minutes and doing two dome or three dome you get everything in a super easy way. The game needs to go back to what it was in the first two maps, a challenge

     

    on the faction points, I tell you that the best place is alpha zone, and even so they give 50 points for each dead enemy, adding their reappearance and others, I would say that as much you do 4k or 5k every hour (and counting that you have premium and others), now do your accounts to make 800k .... crazy and very aggressive for the mind

     

    about the cadejo I was referring to the event, it is clear that from the third map appear "unfinished lagoons", I think that here is the big problem of the game, perhaps duplicated monsters or know what noses, I think the feeling of survival and The essence of the game starts to get lost in this map

     

    anticheat, I told you that although I do not care that it is the best defense or a potato defense, but at least have something that can work, and not like now that having nothing is like putting a sign saying "come and cheating, nothing happens "

     

    The game does not have any grace, and if we have the "steam charts" to see that most of the veterans have stopped playing, although the new players are not attracted because the game is a complete garbage with the current lag and it offers nothing but "desolation" and offers no illusion. I have proposed this idea, I see that you do not like it and you see it as a way for the company to add funds, but if I tell you that I do not see another solution but to remake the game from scratch, and although the result is going to be similar to what I have proposed.

Yes anti-cheats are valuable but they are not the end all be all and people will still accuse people for any number of things(people still think its some big advantage to macro skill combos in the current system). This will only stem so much and unless it's one that people have high confidence in it won't mean anything.

     

    You actually think just sector 1/2 with no changes beyond a wipe would be appealing? Great sales pitcjh:

     

    "Hey come play 25% of the content guys it's the same as you remember but now you gotta regrind those recipes and mats. Want max ap? Do those 20 min races or do the fetch quest ap missions! Are mission rewards decent yet? Nope. Is it laggy? We hope not! Come on guys this is surely to reinvigorate the game!"

     

    It's far better to put out general status reports and long-term plans periodically to keep people watching it than to try to amputate the games' legs and tell people to have fun.

    I have done all the missions from sectors one to three, including the faction missions of two of them and the missions of the villages surrounded with pvp. That said, the game itself is fully adapted to reach level 30 in a very funny way ( sectors 1-2) , and on points ap, have to tell you that missions give ap, events give ap also and the collection of books give ap (no it's just racing cars or motorcycles)

     

    The funniest thing is to see that in these two sectors it is easy to equip with weapons / faction armor, and even I would say that sector 3 gives possibilities being harder to farme faction points but although, the jump that gives fromsector 3 to the current is huge, making it almost impossible to make the 800k faction points (since the system changes radically, there are no missions as if there are sectors 1 and 2 and almost say 3 but much less in this sector).

     

    Look, if you were a new player and you enter, the feeling it gives you is that the game is totally dead, little or much if the capitals are overpopulated change all this. I understand what you say about the anticheat, but in my opinion it is something necessary and essential, the feeling of security should never be lost in a game that pretends to be professional.

     

    I do not know if I have explained myself well, and I do not know how much time I will explain more, I am already tired of trying to help (with ideas I can contribute). The perfect game does not exist, and the graphics matter but they are not everything in my opinion, the history and the faction system is what has not been taken care of from sector 3, although it is perfectly done up to sector 2 (in the sector 3 already begin some bugs like the cadejo). If I could make the decision, I would make new server and resume the game since it has no failures and is known to be perfectly adapted, although these two maps could give more than a year of play and attract a lot of people with it .
