    Ram raiding and witnessing

While this is far from the worst mechanic in the game in terms of begin detrimental to player's mental health, it is probably one of the most poorly thought out mechanic in the game.
Crims can easily make cash by stealing cars and looting stores. Enforcers on the other hand, have no such easy ways to make money, they can turn in stolen cars or goods but they get peanuts for it, and even reaching a high enough prestige level for a multiplier is a challenge. Its a lot of pointless driving around and looking for things to turn in, so Enforcers are forced into the role of a parasite, abusing other players by witnessing them and taking their stash instead.
And its not all fun and games for crims either, while ram raiding is the best way to make the most cash, it is also the most stressful and monotonous activity you can do in the game, it is a lot of work and anything but fun, so the least thing you want is some asshat with osmaw legally griefing you. No one is doing ram raiding for the hopes of "fun times" in getting a mini mission with the cop that witnessed them.

All in all, this brings a lot of unnecessary grief and rewards abuse.

Ramaiding is working as intended. There's no such thing as free money in APB. Ramraiding is a bonus to get some extra money for both crim and enforcer with a risk factor. If it's such a big deal to crims getting witnessed and risking losing 'their' money then there's always the safe way to get money: do misions like the rest of the community does. Besides that, crims can easely collect their ramraiding money under the $2500 cap and lower the chance of getting witnessed. But as we all know, crims won't do that because it takes to much time, they just want free money fast without doing the extra mile. Not gonna happen...

    delirium .

having multiple accounts is only necessary for abuse .

If abuse means not willing to pay for extra character slots then yes.

I strongly believe that if character slots where free:

    ·         Less new accounts would be made wich would ‘improve’ database accessability.

    ·         Players would play more due to account bound related items, IE weapons and premium.

    ·         Griefing/cheating might go down due to more then 2 high ranked characters on an account.

    ·         It makes LO look good/better by not grabbing cash.

If character slots remain a payed item then it would be nice for LO to concider a 1 time account merge (per account) and charge a small amount of G1C to make it happen. It would make so many people happy.

They aren't wizzards who can retrieve data out of the air. If there are no records, they have no other option than to invalidate these items.

They had (and still have) a full database, they know exactely what we had. Most guns are the same as on Citadel, the only had slightly differend stats (like the duck, r&d3 etc). Not having financial records of a differend company is just a cheap trick of saying 'We still want you as a customer but we prefer you rebuying the legendaries we denied you of keeping'.

I'm one of the lucky ones who have loads of legendaries on my main Citadel account from the OBT era so I can tranfer some if I wanted to. Instead of doing that I chose to spend my money on items of a differend game. And this all because some people prefer lazyness over keeping paying customers. You can't expect those who got screwed over to keep paying, it's not rocket science.

Though how you would tell the difference between a macro user and someone who has used an ntec for more than 10 minutes is beyond me. (Unless maybe they are streaming their macro use)

Without getting into to much detail, if they use a simple macro is very easy to tell besause of the constant consistency. Experienced users 'screw up' once in a while, simple macro's don't.

Now, if you would use a more advanced macro then it will be harder for a GM/spectator/stream watcher to spot, IE: if you add a randomised factor to it looks more humanised. I've seen a guy using his own advanced macro and combined it with a semi-randomised/non-autoshoot aimbot, he went from rank 9 to 255 and that account is still not banned. We all know that AC's are a joke these days so it's up to other factors to get people like this banned and there is where the problem is. It's not what GM/spectators/stream watchers see, it's what cheaters wants them to see.

Sidenote to your streaming refference: there's still streamers who are blatantly using marcros and bots so catching those is not that hard, and yet they're still playing. It's a bit frustrating to say the least.

Macros cannot change a weapon's max rate of fire, or bloom, or accuracy.

I know you don't want to hear it but using a macro on an Ntec is highly beneficial according to some people. Holding the trigger or tapping with macro mimicking max fire rate does magic to recoil. In other words, it's a bit more accurate.

Well, blame the company who origionally caused these issues... Innova is the cause, not LO/G1 who shut down it's services, basically they should be happy to keep any items and be able to play with their old accounts again.

LO bought APB, they where fully aware of what they where buying so that's no excuse.

Hello, Matt. Thanks for such a good migration, ppl got a lil bit more that u promised, but, a couple of things are still behind the scene. From the very beginning, it was said: "Legendaries that are from Joker Boxes will be brought across with the character they are currently on as long as they are those exact weapons. This does not include any items that are limited by a lease time. These items will also be trade locked.".

True, I remember that as well. But now the excuse was that weapons with differend then Citadel stats would not be transfered. Instead of adjusting the exisiting Nekrova weapons to Citadel standards and then merge, they chose the easy way out. Now after the merge almost every Nekrova player who owned a Sitting duck, nano, contact nano, R&D3, True ogre etc basicly got absolutely screwed over since their weapons didn't get merged as promised. Instead of that, a maximum of 5k G1C was offered to those who had over 1k play time, wich makes absolutely no sense at all, IE a player who spent $500 and played 100 hours gets less G1C then a player who spent $5 with 1k+ hours.

Lazyness or 'smart' business? I'm wondering how many of the screwed over Nekrova players are still willing to spent real money on APB...

could you mean someone like that one guy we all know who is cheating, and whose "account got hacked by russians" ?

I think I know who you mean, he was unbanned. After the unban his skill dropped massively wich was very strange to say the least.
