    Despite what the in-game description says, CJ actually affects shot modifier cap (or max bloom). It does not affect bloom per shot at all (it may seem like it but that's because of the increased firerate)

    Today's biweekly poll will be on weapon modifications. If you could change one weapon mod (it doesn't matter if you nerf, buff or completely change it), which mod would it be?

     

    The best way for LO to make changes that will be accepted is to voice our opinions in an easy analysable manner, so let's put our initial opinions out in the open for them

    So in the upcoming patch it states that a new skin that can be gotten from RIOT at level 10 with the contact, which means an extra 5 levels were added to the contact (and you know what that means: more tedious grinding)

     

    What I want to ask is if the standing you earn from matches is still the same abysmal amount from launch. I don't think anyone enjoys repeating the same process over and over in an unpolished gamemode for a small amount of standing all for 1, now 2, skins. The time investment is just not worth it

     

    Also the weekly polls will now be biweekly polls for anyone who cares

    Nice to see we still haven't gotten down picking times that align with people's schedules

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Don't get me wrong, the event is a nice gesture, but with how many GM events we've had now, you would think they'd have gotten better at picking times

    Short and simple poll: would you rather LO wait until the engine upgrade is out before they start weapon balance again or would you rather they start on it now?

     

    As a sidenote, LO have the final say in the matter, but how would you go about weapon balance

    One write-up evidently isn't enough

    Quick disclaimer: configs are not the same as the advanced launcher

     

    This week's poll is going to be on whether you consider configs as cheating or not (regardless of whether they are allowed or not). The type of configs this poll will be addressing is purely visual changes, not keybindings & not text edits

     

    A quick rundown on configs for those who don't know what they are: files you can change by hand to change the game e.g. removing fog or editing mission text

     

    Now before we start ripping each other a new one, Matt on record has stated that configs are allowed (certain things cannot be touched however like removing muzzle flash) for now until the engine upgrade is released. You can find the interview he said it in on @JenzAmaka's Twitch channel here:

     

    After the engine upgrade you can still edit the ini file, however the amount of things you can edit will be less in quantity as some of them will be added to the options menu in-game as part of the upgrade

     

    If something isn't in the ini file nor the new in-game options that was in the ini file previously, it's safe to assume you're no longer allowed to touch it

     

    Try to keep things civil the forums being civil? unheard of

     

    These polls might become biweekly, I dunno
