    The CSA has repossessed a weapons storage garage - rumored to belong to the leader of the Blood Roses…

One of the weapons found was that of a Colby CSG-20, which seemed to be altered in a way that allowed for a single modification.     I don't believe many peps are macroing, for one there are not many people playing, 

    I think a few people are running hax, but i don't think macros are a factor. 

    However I don't believe reporting works, because.

     1. Eac was cracked 12 hrs after install, it was all over chat, and matt has said nothing, 

    Done nothing nor anyone else to fix this.

     2. There are no staff in support to read said report, cuz we see no staff here in forum or game.

     So even if you believe support staff exists, Matt has flown the coop making people think the game

    has been sold or is going out of bossiness ect, and therefore no support.

     3. I refuse to make any report due my belief that it summons gm's into district.

    who then harass the reporting party.

     What is there some 20 GM's in game, all to catch one old man rocking the boat. 

    But we can't spare one to catch hackers, ya know Matt can't come by n even lie to us n 

    say He'll look into it, confirm that LO still exists.

    What does this balance change solve? The N-TEC will still be better than the STAR. New players will have a harder time with a more complex starting weapon. Chances are the STAR will actually end up performing worse as a burst fire assault rifle than it does now.

     

    The STAR plays differently enough from the N-TEC to justify its existence and it also has a specific gameplay purpose. Meanwhile the Ursus, Scoped N-TEC, and even the FAR are all way closer to redundant overlap with the base N-TEC, so why not mangle one of them instead?

     

    Or why not revive a truly dead gun, and rework the ISSR-A?

    That line got me all excited about this faction, and I was wondering about the cool lore I was about to experience. Some Anarchism over here, maybe an attempt at a revolution/coup over there, some "yes we're breaking the law but we have good intentions" stuff sprinkeld in between. You know, things in relation with the introduction video of the faction. 

    Yet (and this list is non exhaustive, I haven't maxed out a criminal yet to give an opinion about tier 5 and above contacts) what we got was some petty "I wanna take over our gang" drama, a depressed manipulative lass, and some boring 2-dimensional characters who only care about partying and more partying. No attempt at trying to change how things are.

    I might sound like I'm nitpicking but the characters are so forgettable that I don't even recall their story and/or goals. What? Who the fuck is Tyrone Sennett?
    The Enforcers are no better, but hey I'll get to them later. (Edit: Not anymore since I now believe the lroe was not meant to be taken too seriously.)
    I'm not asking to make changes, either, but I care about the lore of the games that I love and I wish they made the Criminals more fleshed out this comical, 2 dimensional joke.

    Arlon Benjamin, and by extension the G-Kings, are the “revolutionaries” looking to overturn the status quo - even if not all the gangbangers are aware of it 

     

    there’s a decent irl parallel of the G-Kings being the cultural tastemakers of San Paro even as the city relegates them to the bottom rung of society

    some of these items were supposedly attached to the new contacts, which we might not even be getting at this rate - but if we do then pushing FOMO now for items that will be completely free in the future is a bit scuzzy

    yeah pretty much, back when we first got battleye, players couldn't use stuff like msi afterburner 

    advanced launcher is officially allowed and distributed by little orbit, its available on their website

    the rules have always been pretty clear that all 3rd party programs that affect the game are at risk of triggering bans - the rule is overly broad specifically to cover situations like this where a program may or may not be malicious but still triggers the anticheat

     

    there's never going to be a complete list of all disallowed programs, because no anticheat or developer can account for every random custom coded and distributed program like your stencil tool

    and even if you could minimize bloom and have perfectly timed shots, you would still have to aim. The hardest part in APB is mentally compensating for a lagging game.

    i dont think macros are that big of a problem in apb because a player generally needs several different fire rates for different engagements, but its actually pretty easy to set up a no recoil or no bloom macro on most gaming mice these days

    you're going to get two answers for cheating

    1. the cheating is bad
    2. the cheating is not bad

    given your post, i think you'll probably land in "the cheating is bad" category

     

    population is objectively bad - it spiked for a bit after the upgrade, but its returned to NA (~100 peak) being unplayable for a majority of the day, and EU (~300 peak) being a bit better off but still not good
