    • Cars slow over time with a hold item in their cargo, coming to a halt after 30 seconds. Team in control cant touch the item for 3-5 seconds after the 'stop' occurs (to prevent 'hot potatoing')
    • Players cant spawn in a vehicle with car spawner IF the vehicle is moving AND it has the hold item in it
    • Blow torch effectiveness reduced by 25-50% while hold item is in the vehicle AND/OR blow torch effectiveness is reduced when hanging out of the window/riding on the roof.

  1. Sometimes you have a gun that gets no use out of a 3rd slot or sometimes even a 2nd slot. The mod I am proposing would be a nice choice for such loadouts.

    [Useless]
Every x minutes will display a random weapon + mods on the score screen instead of your currently used weapon

Kind of silly and not at all a priority, but it might make things a little more interesting here and there.

  2. Easiest solution of all: The longer you drive with the item, the slower you go. So, after 30s of non-stop driving with an item, you car comes to a halt. You might be able to exploit that by 'hot potatoing' the item between cars, but maybe throw a cooldown (of 5-10 sec) on being able to pull the item out of the trunk / touch it (if you currently 'control' it).

The worst is when you are playing solo and one of your teamnates starts running and then you have to get in chat and try to convince people that it wasnt your call and no you dont condone running.

I do that by launching a volley of hot lead into my teammate.

  4. Hopefully with the restriction that you can only watch your own faction. Even then it might be a bit OP (free ghosting).

A better idea would be to have a demo (think Half-Life games) or replay (PUBG/Fortnite) system.

    Revert OCA Buff.
    Leave PMG as is.
    Buff CAP40 Slightly.
That would be the easy way to do it, not perfect but nice.

Better way to do it would be to:
ACES SMG for extreme close range.
    OCA for close range.
    PMG for medium close range.
    CAP40 for long close range.

It's nice when someone posts something that makes sense.

    Rewards bad aim you say...

Gee, thanks. I know my aim is bad. Still, I don't agree with these changes. I thought shotguns were fine, but the servers sometimes causes issues with their consistency.
This wasn't meant as a sleight against you. Not all mustache-related things have to be about you Kemp!

Means you should be able to two shot every time with your aim :^)
Truly the Gods have smiled upon me this day.

In all seriousness, I sincerely hope this change isn't overtuned or it's going to be a bad time. Sure it'll be fun for people like me who can't aim to save their lives, but after a day of this it'll be aids 5000.

I suck at the game but I KNOW I suck and don't want some weird patch that makes things easier when they don't need to be. What needs to happen is server-side improvements to reduce (if not eliminate) hit-reg issues.

@Triksterism yer a smart guy, what did you think of this?

It is one of a handful of videos of the 'lag switch' phenomenon that I have encountered personally. I've yet to see this since LO took over, but to be fair I haven't been playing a billion hours a week like I used to. Encountered some laggy players but nothing silly like this:

I am a simple person - I can make mistakes, break away and never considered myself a loser .

there are some very problematic things in the game: Pyrite players , private ( closed ) groups , music of murders , chat area , cheaters .

    1. Pyrite - 99% of these players reside close to the location of the server which gives them an advantage in the pig .

    2. private groups-beginners and teams have no chance to win ( maybe! no different types of weapons, modifications, experience )

    3. musical accompaniment of murders-based on the practice you often kill only one player from the opposing team . probably the most toxic problem in the game .(I personally turned off your topic five years ago )

    4. chat area-a place where there is a drain all the negativity received in the game . why does it exist in principle if there are many other channels of communication ?

    5. cheaters - Macro kills any balancing of the weapons ."Fair Fight" perfectly coped removing macros and command lines from the game

    6. Shaders-they seem harmless only at first glance . there is an advantage . they were officially banned . if they are in the game they must be made by developers and available to everyone .

PS this is a personal opinion and it may differ from the opinions of participants and developers

Unlike most of the responses you've received, I won't be rude here.

    1. Pyrite aka fake gold -- Are you saying players that have even the slightest ping advantage are only gold because of that specifically? This seems like a non-issue.

    2. Private groups - It seems like you're referring to an old game term called "pub stomping" -- It does suck, for sure. Not a whole lot that can be done about it right now. I suggest newbie districts (for players under x weeks of playtime) but that can be abused by "smurfs" / re-rolls

    3. The translation is rough / nonsensical here but I assume you are referring to de-threaters. Yes, this is an issue, not 100% sure on how this can be remedied without a very drastic change.

    4. I assume you're referring to district chat and not social district? I don't agree with removing either. Yes, people tend to be quite toxic more often than not in district chat, but I don't think that's a cause to remove it.

    5. Cheaters - Macros are a non-issue. I don't think people should use them, but they are the lowest form of cheating imaginable. FairFight didn't do anything to prevent macroing. BattlEye does a better job but only because it prevents popular macro programs for running (AutoIt/AutoHotKey). BattlEye DOES allow proprietary software such as Logitech Gaming Software, Corsair's CUE, Razer Synapse, etc... to run (I think it also allows the X7 mouse software to run which is even worse). Macroing just makes it easier to bring out a weapon's full damage potential for people who can't juggle click times while fighting. That's not very huge honestly. <-- I only say this about 'normal' macros (click fire intervals) not anti-recoil macros (those are much, much worse for obvious reasons).

    6. Shaders - I agree with making certain shader options available via in-game means. There were very very very very few shaders that actually gave a troubling advantage and almost all of those are broken now. The crosshair shader is something I would put on a similar if not the same level as using a macro. A sort of gray hat "cheat", if that makes sense. A cheat, certainly but barely.

TL;DR -- I feel as if you're making a big deal out of a lot of small problems due to personal frustrations.
    • Thanks 1

  10. I'm a bit late to the party and have not read anything outside of the OP.

My friend Mynd suggested that any out-of-mission object (vehicle, shield, ammo box, etc...) should be 'ghosted' (players doing the mission can walk through it) if said object/vehicle is within x meters of an objective.

I think that's a pretty solid solution to be honest and it's why I've put it on my list (see signature).

Maybe if we are lobbying to change the start up screen we can change the "In memororedum of Real-time worlds" to "In memororedum of GamersFirst"

    Reloaded Productions (not GamersFirst)*

and also, no. RTW had good intentions, not sure if RP did or not but look where we are now.
