Hey there, so I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my game's decals as my char/car decals looks really blurry and pixelated. 

 

 

Previous Approaches  :-

 

1- Delete Config folder from APB Game and Engine folder then repair using the game launcher.

 

2- Use advanced launcher and set quality to ultra.

 

3- Optimizing my Nvidia Control Panel 3D settings.

 

4- Reinstalling programs in TPI folder.

 

5- Manually editing the .ini files in the config folder.

 

6- Spending 3-4 hours daily surfing the web for an answer.

 

7- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on an M.2 SSD with and without a symbolic link to an HDD for the Assetcache folder.

 

8- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on both of my HDDs.

 

9- Running the game with stock settings and Advanced Launcher settings on a 12GB Ram Disk.

 

 

Proposed Approches :- 

1- Complete reinstall of the game (Currently having internet issues so that's not really an option).

2- Your suggestions ?

Yeah.

Aliasing on the edges of the car decal.

Low quality black color.

Blurry number plates.

 This one is ridiculous.

 Notice the BEWARE decal? that's what I'm talking about.

Notice the RAPID99 logo and low quality textures as well as the poor shadow quality?

Many of you are gonna disagree and hate me there for it but honestly yukon was made just to force people buy boxes and its broken on purpose.. Imo this weapon should be removed from game completly and players compensated in cash or sth else... Whe you look at the overall ballance of guns, yukon just doesnt belong here and with current server performance you have 0 chance to fight yukon or corners

Problem with most of players are seeing the actual rank.. Look at the gold player score he played worse than your silver teammate... Golds playing in bronze districts are mostly lame noobs who can play worse than a good silver player.. So sit down play and try to step up

Ballance? Nerf ntec in cqc, nerf hvr hard and mainly stamina dmg, nerf oscar range. Ballance finished

Well some players are fishy anyway.. Mainly those: "came back after 2 year break" and totally rekting everyone instantly... + i am sure mouse macros are not being detected i saw yesterday a guy in asylum with oscar shooting that quick i never seen anyone before

Since MM is bad for some people and maybe with potential beginners coming into APB what about making all districts open conflict for now? till new MM will come

Playing apb for pretty long time with a ton of breaks, stopped playing around year ago since game was going to absolute dust and nightmare

now i would love to join clan like you are, i know you are the best of the best and that is why i wanna join i was in several clans before and i just want to move to a higher tier, get better plays, enjoy playing alongside with the best and most experienced players ingame now.

Uhm what do you talk about? In mission districts i rarely see anyone cheating.. There are some known cheating clans and names still running around sadly but time will tick out for them once

 

I saw one known cheater in FC yesterday sadly he is still not banned closet but i hope one day he will pay off... But for me game feels cleaner than in last few years

I definetly agree with dmg inside a car even with 90% reduction... This will stop car gamaplayers to just peek and when 85 sit in a car and drive around.. Even item hold mission i would restrict some area for it to avoid placing item in a nulander and 4x4 behind it pushing it... 

 

 

 

Make ViP mission like in asylum that both sides have 1 vip

I hope for som car reballance so 4x4 and human shield nulander wont be meta anymore

[Nvidia user performance settings & System tricks & APB Tips]

GPU is not that important currently in APB... minimum FPS depends on CPU .. you can have monster GPU but if you have some old low profile i5/i3 dont expect stable 60frames never...

[Rank system like in Quake Champions]

If you will remake threat system one day maybe look at the Quake Champions.. There are ranks+MMR numbers besides them but over the nax rank player can achieve infinite rise of this number.. For example imagine in APB being like:

 

0-50=green

 

51-400=bronze

 

401-700=silver

 

701-~=gold

 

 

And match golds according to its number and never let silver to join a game with only gold members.. Good premade teams will reach high numbers over 1000 for sure so casual golds will play more against casual golds while other players with higher number will play against high tier golds imo this will reduce dethreating a bit and with this i would lock districts/threat and boost rewards on gold district drastically so people will stick to it and will be happy about it

BR is outdated, market is fullfilled with this type of genre.. making BR now is not a way to success... APB doenst fit BR properly imo... i would prefer open district wars again similar to anarchy mode
