    LO todo list:

    engine upgrade

    merging world servers

    improved tutorial

    map balancing

    weapon balancing

    vehicle balancing

    new content

    new task:

    make engine vroom more realistic

    LO todo list:

shutdown APB and work on it like they are doing with Fallen Earth.

    --

I simply would love that, instead of making chaos around, breaking things or rushing a patch because players cry or because the patch they did broke something.

  2. Because removing reactions will make the forums a better place, without negativity.

    Little Orbit

PS Then if that works like that, why don't you remove the dumptruck from the game? Yeah, because most of the grifers use it as a blocker, right? It does work like that for you 🙃, god, how much IQ could you have.

Allowing people to discuss a change that's been made what a wasteful thing to do.

We get it, you're pissed, get over yourself ...

You can't just remove negativity removing reactions, it doesn't work like that.

I don't know how you guys learned things or how you don't, but the thing is peoples are still going to be negative and assholes, even more now that they can't downvote maybe a bad topic, instead of talking and spreading hate before they could just put up some downvotes, or even the fun face.

If you think removing the reactions was a good idea, happy for you, but is not gonna make the peoples better and more respectful, just saying.

    Im done with this bullsh*t.

Even mods do whatever they want lol, who asked to re-open my topic, who asked to have all in one, i don't.

You guys are out of your minds, really.

Calm down, take a tea, some milk, some biscuits, do something, relax, sleep.

It takes care of making the forums much nicer and partly neutralizes the negative influence it has had generally speaking.

Now... to have a similar effect on the game itself...
hide threat (not rank) (gets rid of threat based districts) which gives matchmaking an easier time (utilizing the actual threat levels not visible to players) and makes dethreating sort of pointless.

Make all the things you get from doing the tutorial a part of the starter inventory and implement a new tutorial only (T) district (which you can skip at any time) with a new tutorial contact who verbally tells the new player step by step exactly what to do (go here, do this, do that, press this and that button etc) while doing new tutorial specific missions, instead of the spider web of text based tasks/info to jump between to unlock various things that the tutorial has today. Kick player out of T district based on completion. Move the current useful info from the current tutorial window to a help section in the menu which the player can go to if needed at any time.

So then we will get new players who are not thrown in dazed and confused against super superior opponents in the same way. They will understand how things work much better, which reduces frustration and confusion so maybe they'll stick around.

They will also not get kicked around by dethreaters in bronze districts or the other superior players like they are today when/if they decide to join higher threat districts to play with their friends etc.

Just makes a much nicer experience for new players, gives better new player retention (better income), better matchmaking quality, larger player pool per district etc etc.

Players should not have control of what threat group they will be up against like they have today. Arranged missions etc could be handled by letting pre-formed groups move to a district where that is a requirement, but still with hidden threat of course.

    New players.

Just from 2 words i assume you don't know at all the state of this game.

  4. "Solid system to minimize friends teaming up by readying at the same time."

Can't work in apb, but other than that, agree.

Threat segregation sucks, like the matchmaking, and how players blast and obliterate newbies, is just disgusting.

  5. It happens also with granades, OPGL, Volcano and EOL's.

I think that the box of the bullets/rockets/objects, collides with the box of the car/wall/whatever you are too close to, so they got pushed more left/right, wrongly.

All depends in what state are financial and waterfront.Untill we see some actual gameplay like we saw Asylum and Social back in april-we will have no idea. The engine may happen till end of the year, may never happen. At this point we can only speculate.LO knows ofc but they will never told u "hey this will take like another year or so" because the players will start leaving the game even more u know..

    yea, understandable.

Understandable like you don't even know peoples alredy left the game, the population is as low as possible in the last month, never been that low in the entire APB history.

Btw, if you are right, and if they didn't showed us wat and fin.. we can go and pray god, because engine will not happen till next year/s.

2020 isn't for sure, at least from their "silence" about it.

cyberpunk isnt going to have multiplayer at launch nor does that change that the game isnt currently available and wont be until it launches, so it doesnt matter how long it takes to polish things

since you brought up cyberpunk it should probably be noted that the "legendary" project red has delayed its release twice now, and said multiplayer has also been delayed

For me it's okay about the delays, when a company has a very strong trust and respect built behind it, peoples will not be mad, just hopeful for the game to be Even better than before.

Exactly, it doesn't matter how long it takes to polish things, i will wait.

Project Red is one of the best companies if not the first.

Just how they make things, how they move, how they think.

so CD projekt delays a game for years & its ok cus theyre cd projekt, but LO, a company that bought a dying game that you care about, has been finishing off what G1 couldnt finish, who have improved the QoL of said game in more ways than G1 ever did, cant give rough timeframes in which they *hope* the engine upgrade will be finished?

at least u've been able to actually play APB for the past decade, cyberpunk has been in development for probably the same amount of time apb has been made F2P.

I would be okay if they said "Q3/Q4 2020", not specific months.

Im really not saying they should push, they should delay if they need more time and they are indeed delaying the engine once more, and im not mad about that, im mad because they thrown dates without knowing how much time was really needed.

If was impossible, or much difficult to predict/say, just don't say it.

Enough with cyberpunk btw, is an off-topic brought from me.

that works for project red because they're developing single player one-off games, it doesn't matter if there's an info blackout because no one can play the game until they release it anyway

the last time we got radio silence on apb it was from g1 and nobody liked that as far as i know

No, it doesn't work because they develop singleplayer games, because cyberpunk is also multiplayer.

It does work because CD Proejct Red is CD Project Red, and they grown an extremely good trust behind them.

Is one of the favorite companies for me, if not the first.

I would have prefered a radio silence instead of dates thrown around like all the times.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I don't think that's an actual quote. Actual quote; Matt: "Someone is asking about September for the engine. It's funny I put out dates in the past and then we for various reasons have not hit those dates. I will be very very disappointed if we don't get this engine update out by September."

Whatever, it wasn't an accurate quote, but a mention to it.

Still, if YOU, as company, Don't Know when a thing is going to be released, then don't throw out dates, don't make fake promises.

    Isn't difficult.

Or do we need to joke about the WeeksTM thing?

    I just don't like lies.

Just say > when it's ready, like the Legendary CD Project Red.

No dates, no spoilers, no details, till the end.

As there have been a few threads on the removal of some of the reactions on the forums we have decided to merge these threads together, to remove some of the extra clutter brought by many threads in different places..

The posts from @Sakebee with the reasoning behind this change can be found here and here within this very thread.

    Happy postings.

    ~@mayii

I mean.. technically you changed this by your own without asking the opinions of your community, which is sad.

So it doesn't make any sense honestly.

Why do you need opinions now, isn't it useless anyway because you alredy decided?

    Lol

remove all the reactions..so people will actually start readin and not hiting the reaction only based on the title

    +1

If you (LO) need to remove only negative ones, then remove everything and will be better at least.

Like that now seems you only allow positivity, it doesn't work like that in the world.

Peoples can dislike something, and if we can't do this here, then remove all other reactions.
