Thank you can you look into reimbursing the marketplace items from 2 weeks ago now? thanks. If you need tools still, just purchase the items and foreward them onto the people who lost them using pre existing mechanic of creating marketplace items through purchasing them. I should'nt have to beg for 2 weeks for this man....... -

So far anytime I get good amount of free time, using this as a scale of probability on whether the server will be up or down I will now begin sharing when I have upcoming free time so people know when the server is going down. FYI during the week outage I was on vacation so I would say thus far my free time vs server crashes are pretty accurate :D. Look on the bright side.....login server works so were 1/2 way there :P. -

Appreciate the hug, and I agree with what you say business follows the money trail. It may sound like im QQing but I paid for virtual items which were, and being fair will say no one's fault lost. Truth is no one wanted that to happen including LO, stuff happens. Two weeks to reimburse virtual items is not a man power thing, it's an IDGAS thing lol. From the perspective of a customer I ordered items from amazon after I put in this support ticket and recieved the items 2 days later, we take for granted the amount of coordination that takes. All im saying is 2 weeks and ticking, and I am still waiting for a copy + paste items into my account. Don't have the tools? Purchase items with functioning tools, and hand em to the customer. I don't want to point out the customer service is lacking because I want to support LO, but if escalating support tickets means 2 weeks later there still has been no response and no end in sight...... -

Believe it or not i look at the color as a 3rd dimension of expression in text, an example would be when in conversation you may adjust your pitch of voice when saying certain words in a sentence, Merc might be onto something. -

Confirmed, it is not reacting like it ussually does where fast travel goes down for a 10-15 minute period and character screens are blank during the time period. It now seems it is going much longer than usual. I am still at a blank character screen which if I log in during that period, is normally only 5-10 minutes. I have come to learn if fast travel is not functioning, logging out will result in blank character screen. -

I know Matt has addressed it already but mine are still open @ 13 days. I get the whole small operations thing but for some reason the matter has taken a back seat, Even if the tools need to be developed a work around would be to just buy the marketplace items so the game creates them and just give it back to the players. It's essentially a bank transfer from one account to another through the game, and the customers are happy while the tools are developed. I feel like I ordered a pizza, the delivery guy eats my pizza on the way to my house handing me an empty box and an invoice, and then I have to wait for the next batch of dough to rise before I can get my new pizza, meanwhile i am still hungry. -
Thanks for the update. Merged. Just to give a work around to this so it does not leave us sitting for too long for custom tools. Review the support tickets, purchase the items through a private account, the funds will simply move from one of your accounts into another of your accounts and the system will create the items.

Come on guys, I know the server has been a pain lateley but were talking just the shop items between a certain time period with a very limited player base which does'nt constitute a massive slog of support tickets for this matter. I would bet that these tickets can probably be sorted in an afternoon or less, read the ticket, confirm the purchase, reimburse the items whether through credits or throwing the items in the mail. It's not fair to your players ........... -
I feel like this lag issue goes in a cycle, it works normally for 10-15 mins then slogs down for 10-15 mins. Eventually it goes away and you can switch toons normally untill the next cycle. Edit: Now its working again.....hence the cycle.

Thanks Matt, I really just want to express how much I and perhaps we appreciate the honesty with the player community in all of the work you guys are doing. It is a quality not found in very many places anymore and is refreshing to see.

Not really SoL, they are giving all players 2 weeks sub including pre-existing members, as far as free players gaining 2 weeks but subbed members losing one week and gaining 2.....eh gotta cut slack somewhere. I do have a question on specifics for pre existing sub accounts, If I currenlty have 15 days of Commander Sub left on 5/10. Will I now have 30 days of commander sub on 5/10 ??? If the answer is no, then subbed accounts are getting the bone for the 15 day commander. Additionally we were hoping for an escalation on the shop items lost from the roll back, I have asked around the community and was unable to find anyone that has received theirs, I asked this because a promise to escalate the support tickets was made, so do we have a date or something for those? -

Had this issue while trying to switch characters last night so I logged off for the night...... Got home this evening and am having the issue again now it seems where character selection screen shows up but no characters. It sounds like the work around is to just let it sit long enough till they appear.

Alternatively they can pull data from an account from that date, and just paste it in to an individual account, so people can keep they're 4/29 data, and for those that want to keep they're 5/4 data can do so. Whether that ability exists in FE IDK, but I have seen it done in other games several times. This way " I like lost progress folks are " are happy too. I assume the discussuion right now is to provide a global solution. -

I am not trying to be the spokesperson about how to proceed here, I am one opinion of many. I just was'nt understanding some of the concerns. The right thing to do is to hit the ground with data from 4/29 so no one loses anything, that's just my 2 cents. Naturally people are going to base they're opinion on what they're losses are. Whatever happens is whatever happens, I will refrain from playing untill an official stance on this is taken. If they can decide that they are able to restore the game within 1 - 2 days, I am sure most people will appreciate gaining 6 days worth of work while losing 2. ya wastelanders! -

Test server is an even better idea! Data corruption can happen even when bits are just sitting idle on disk, they also can happen when the server autonomously copies it self at regular intervals, and to give you credit it's true you can mess it up just by moving it but if hardware is going to fail in that manner and it fails by copying it today then its going to fail by copying it tomorrow...... catch 22. Anyways whatever happens happens, it just sucks but the right thing to do is hit the ground with a 4/29 save. I still am lost as to how OLD data gets mixed in with NEW data. -

I understand that there are going to be mixed feelings about this, and I guess whatever happens is whatever happens .... this too shall pass. This just does'nt make sense to me. If we patch in the most up to date data the whole world is going to possibly get wiped, where did that idea come from. You can back up what you are literally staring at and save it so nothing can touch it. Then take another set of data and load it in. I will take another day of downtime to recover days and days of crafting levels and work over having to redo it all. Thank you Matt, I understand this is adding more pain to what the patootie has already endured this week, but it just makes sense, and consider this a continuation of the move. Again I understand there are going to be mixed feelings about this according to what each person has lost, if not for nothing to the vets, think about your newer population. -

Well as the server stands right now, on what is currently loaded with the 4/23 data. Can you save this as it stands so you can always go back to this worse comes to worse no matter what. Try taking a look at the files that you have that are possibly more updated and try throwing them in and see what happens. I will throw this as to my own ignorance but, a backup file..... is it not a file compiled of many files, can't you just look at the day it was compiled? I guess im confused on how old data gets mixed in with new data, I am guessing you are saying that you plan to patch in new data on top of whats already there rather than wiping completley clean whats there, and placing other data in it's place. -
