can't sleep the worries of being an adult doing adult things and thoughts of how differnt non human species wearing hats would wear them keep me up

would cats wear them a bit farther back due to the cat ears? or would they have holes in them for the ears? doesnt that defeat the purpose of a hat in winter? do they got winter and summer hats to wear?
