Kevkof 806 Posted September 11, 2018 Make sure when you're reinstalling that you fully delete everything. 1. Uninstall the game 2. Go to the folder where it used to be in and delete whatever stayed behind. 3. Reinstall That should get rid of it for good

Kevkof 806 Posted September 11, 2018 Very odd, I did a full clean install a couple days ago (full reset of a system), that install isn't trying to reinstall directX every time either. as @ElectroStingz mentioned in several different posts, this is what your registry should look like when everything is installed correctly. You could always just edit them to be the same as in the picture, that should stop it from trying to reinstall directX

Kevkof 806 Posted September 11, 2018 Another thing you could do in an attempt to fix it is install Direct X manually yourself, it should be in "APB Reloaded\TPI\DirectX" as DirectX_June2010 . exe if it's not there you can just download it from Microsoft's official website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Soniiczz 0 Posted September 11, 2018 i tried the DirectX_June2010program, a yes or no pops up, clicked yes and nothing else happened, did the website download and still a no go
Kevkof 806 Posted September 11, 2018 could you possibly record the entire launch process so we can see what it's exactly giving you as messages. Maybe that can help us further
T0asty 4 Posted September 14, 2018 There was a bug with it a while ago, I'm surprised it still happening. What I did to fix was delete the "DirectX"(or whatever the install folder is called) in "Binaries", if I remember correctly. Its been a few months since I fixed it, if I'm wrong, I do apologize.
