It's a mystery to me how this type of content is a bannable offense, while nude pornographic symbols, cars & clothing are prevalent in-game.

So, there are people—using a vehicle marked with the insignia of Russian Federation special units (such as the police, etc.) and bearing official state markings (flags, coats of arms)—who wear Nazi symbols (such as the reversed swastika) that are banned in the civilized world; one of them is dressed in a black German World War II-era uniform and the other in a classic beige Hitler-style suit, and they run around game servers creating the impression that Russia endorses this ideology. When interacting with them directly, it turns out they don't even speak Russian. I realize this is impossible to prove and that no disciplinary action can be taken; I simply want to appeal to the gaming community to use common sense and avoid associating "bad" behavior with any specific race, nationality, or country. Thank you.

"Kaliningrad"—the username of the player mentioned above—is a Russian city; the logic of this in-game troll and provocateur follows the same pattern, and I strongly urge you to exercise caution when encountering such scoundrels. Yes, I messaged him privately—he refuses to communicate in Russian there, too.

if it helps I don't think they should allow nude symbols anymore either
makes the game feel trashy in 2026

/ignore them and move on. You will not see their symbols, and they will not see you in chat. Win/Win. Don't waste support's time on it. They have a enough tickets to worry about.

Ignoring the issue amounts to passive acceptance of the game's deterioration. People deliberately provoke others by pretending to represent a specific nation, ethnic group, or community. For instance, suppose two or three Russian speakers—often matched on either your team or the opposing one—disrupt the game, hurl abuse, and so on; later, if you encounter another Russian speaker in the chat, you might—based on that prior experience—act against them. (I am not referring to you specifically, but rather to others—children or teenagers, who are more impulsive and immature at that age; though I am also certain that adults who lack psychological maturity play this game as well.)

The gaming community—comprising children, teenagers, and adults who lack psychological maturity—observes and emulates the attitudes of top or popular players who have been provoked; they then project that hostility onto any group sharing characteristics with those "bad actors" (such as Russian players—or, in practice, simply anyone who speaks or understands the language). If a member of your group is wronged by someone using Russian chat, you might treat another Russian speaker you encounter with toxicity. Ignoring the situation is a passive, ripple-effect response to a significant problem.
