APB Deserves a Complete Weapons and Weapon Mods Revamp

I disagree. I think it's still on the edge of being too much of an obvious choice because it's a beast.

 

I've been looking at all the weapons in APB and specially the both ends of "grand scheme of things" I see few anomalies. There's few guns at the top end that may require being looked at, but there is a ton more stuff that's sitting neglected thrown in the trash bin because they are utterly useless. Taking small surgical snips out of few of the top kek weapons and giving more focused roles to some of that unused garbage will even out the grand scheme of things nicely.

 

I'd just take the extra 2 bullets away from N-TEC (more kalashnikov-ish) and maybe think about reload time (maybe make it same as on STAR). I'd allow it to stay as a very good weapon, but it needs a bit of a handicap somewhere. Not by much though, oh no. I'm talking like a change of 2 bullets and a 0,4 seconds here...

 

NHVR I do not want to really even talk about, but something needs to be done. I'm just kinda lost with it and wishing it wouldn't exist, but that's as much due to some silly mechanics in APB as it is about the gun itself. It's a fine sniper rifle if you use it only for sniping from a far, but it shouldn't be able to be used in CQC to the degree it is being used at the moment while still getting away with using it in such way. I mean QSing with it you can challenge ALL CQC WEAPONS in the game and get away with it?!?

 

On the other end, we have things like the norseman series which is like going into a fight without primary weapon at all... They are somewhat fun to use, but utterly garbage if your enemy is even near to your level (of skill) and full on suicide if the enemy is above your level.

Yep, QSing becomes quite annoying when facing CQC with HVR users... U take 1 or 2 FBW shots to get surprised by a QS.

Regarding some Weapons:
 

Assault Rifles: STAR, N-TEC (And re-skins)

Decrease the Default Magazine Capacity: 32 ---> 30
Increase the Ammo in reserve: 128 ---> 150

 

Semi-Auto Rifles: Obeya CR762 (And re-skins)

Increase the Default Magazine Capacity: 15 ---> 20

Ammo Pool should remain unchanged.

 

Regarding some Weapon Mods:

 

Magazine Pull (In general):

Default Values.
- Decreases reload time by -40%

- Decreases magazine capacity by -25%

 

What can be Added:
- Removed ammo from magazine is added to the Ammo Pool

 

Improved Rifling (Level 3): Be enhanced.

Default Values.
- Increases effective range by +7m
- Increases maximum reticle bloom substantially

 

What can be Done:
- +7m ---> +10m

 

Cooling Jacket (Level 3): Be enhanced.

Default Values.
- Increases Fire Rate by +7%
- Increases Accuracy Bloom substantially
- Increases Shotgun Spread substantially

 

What can be Done:
- +7% ---> +10%

 

THAT'S ALL FOLKS.
