If we were to walk down memory lane for a bit, Little Orbit acquired APB (Gamersfirst)

back in May of 2018.

 

7 Years.

Yeah, I let that sink in a bit before I reflected on some of the direct,

and even indirect messaging in those 7 years. 

 

Hmm, 2 unban waves.

The clear message from Matt Scott that "We will not ban cheaters"

opened up the flood gates, metaphorically speaking,

and a definite "gut punch" for those players that just wanted "Fair Gameplay".

 

I get it... battling cheaters can be viewed as "no win situation" , 

constant and never ending for the Game Co.

 

Not sure I agree with LO's decision for the 2 unban waves and the messaging concerning cheaters.

 

And here we are...

7 years later, having the same discussion as we did in 2010, 2014, 2016.....

Was curious how many Legit Players "threw in the towel", and went to the "DARK side", 

just to get some "Fair Gameplay".

 

I mean, they won't be banned, so that's a plus.

 

I don't play many missions as much as I used to, but I do like the driving the cars.

Was chasing this one Foxy speedhacker the other night, in my car.

Couldn't catch her.

 

And she certainly wasn't hiding it.

 

Looking forward to the June update, for this year, 2025.

I have been asking for a very, very long time now about proper anti cheat instead of a lot of these content updates etc. that has been going on lately. It’s good that they put stuff into the game, but if they don’t somehow fix these open gates and welcome cheaters with we won’t ban you but put you up against other cheaters-policy, we won’t need to talk about this next year or near year after that as no one will be here. 
 

I am more concerned about if the entire game will be there till that.

speaking about insanity, that’s also somehow barking at a “sandbox for cheaters” forum and not playing the game yourself or being a part of it.

I never said I stopped playing but do I believe this game  can be revived by LO ? the answer is a hard NO.

I've never seen a game with so much community support being brought down by a bunch of poor kids who can’t handle skills. And no one’s doing anything about it. You tell them you're reporting them, and they just laugh, saying things like 'I'll just make two more accounts anyway.' There’s no anti-cheat system at all. Honestly, it feels like you guys are trying to kill the game.

Learning curve in this game is too steep with different weapons, using camera angle, hiding properly, ranking contacts takes time, weapon ranks take time and then you get matches against veteran players too many times and some might feel like cheating while getting better and now you get frustrated enough that you borrow daddy's credit card and go looking for private cheats than learning your way through.

 

Now this one guy is selling you undetected cheat for let's say 30 bucks and is telling you to spread the word to your friends if they play and creator of that hack is old APB player with too many bans and wants to do harm to APB: Reloaded just for own amusement, but little did he know that kid with that hack now spreads it like it's gold and the problem starts.

 

Now this hack creator sees huge money hole with those hacks and starts making them better and keeping them updated and selling more of them while this plague of cheaters keeps happening and he just smiles while some even gets banned, but because anti-cheat does not do what it is supposed to do or it's deactivated and game does not get updated to make hack creator job harder it just goes on and on like a wildfire and soon game is actually dead, because there are only cheater vs. cheater matches left.

 

This issue also prevents them from buying anything with their daddy's credit card from armas anymore, because this hack creator might've found a way to give you guns etc. so you don't have to buy any of that stuff.

 

Now we legit players are left to watch how APR: Reloaded slowly, but surely dies and either try to play against cheaters or uninstall and that's that.

I use to say hope is not a strategy, but I really hope that this will be wrong. ^.^
