Chilavert 9 Posted February 6, 2021 What's going on with APB lately? I constantly see that I have high ping and large packet loss. This was also noticed by some cis players. When I wrote to the support, I was asked to do a testlatency. After checking the data, I was told that the problem was in my provider. To which the provider answered me that the problem was not in them. My question is who's lying? And so there were big problems in the fact that I play against players whose ping is 2-3 times less, so the packet loss was also added. This is what testlatency gives me in the morning and evening 06/02/2021 08:21:16,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,108,,Packet loss:,421,CCU:,21,21 06/02/2021 08:21:17,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,92,,Packet loss:,403,CCU:,21,21 06/02/2021 08:21:18,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,92,,Packet loss:,255,CCU:,21,21 06/02/2021 08:21:19,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,99,,Packet loss:,169,CCU:,21,21 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/02/2021 20:36:48,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,138,,Packet loss:,22,CCU:,39,40 05/02/2021 20:36:49,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,138,,Packet loss:,12,CCU:,39,40 05/02/2021 20:36:50,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,127,,Packet loss:,0,CCU:,39,40 05/02/2021 20:36:51,DISTRICT_SERVER,,,127,,Packet loss:,48,CCU:,39,

cowhorseman 441 Posted February 7, 2021 who knows. game runs like shit most days some say it's BRs some say its there "updates" that "fixs" issues to me it's the fact that they stuck in the NA servers in the two worst places oh and it might be the cheaters and DDOSers spamming the shit outta them in order to use the high lat to make the hit shitty hit reg shitter. if that is even possible could just be someone fell asleep on the server or is using it to make toast again maybe just maybe it's the fact we don't have irl anime cat girls and we are cursed to live with packet loss maybe its spider man maybe it's steam who the fuck knows
Sgt Drayke 149 Posted February 7, 2021 (edited) "My question is who's lying?" This has always been a tricky one. so here are a few points to keep in mind, FYI I am not a pro, so dont quote me on this info, general info from net etc. Speed * ( Up Down bandwidth + Ping) - Use Global Speed test (isp speed test) to test your connection, do it at hourly points and make a spread sheet , this will show you any issues with your service, ie drops or irregularities. * depending on your connection contract, some ISP state "we provide UP TO 50mbps " the upto in legal speak means they DO NOT have to provide you with 50, they could if they wish only provide 10mbps down. Up is just as important, anything above 10mpbs UP you should be good. Also throttling - this is wear your ISP automated systems may think your over using your service and its unfair to your street, so they throttle your connection by X. Normally about 20% for every 3gb of data (up or Down) consumed. again depending on your contract. connection type - . Here in the UK , there are 4. Telephone, satellite, cable >coax and Cable >Fibre. Telephone being the worse when everyone gets home at 6pm say, fires up netflix or streams anything the entire street will fluctuate and slow due to the way the streets are wired to "hubs" . this is similar to Cable, but not as noticeable, and like Virgin Media has been servicing all "street Hubs/Distributions" with fibre. Fibre Connects are great all round but they are still not perfect with connection drop outs. satellite is meant to be one of the best for consistent connections but "speed" is still limited (apparently) FYI if your ISP says your on Fibre.. Double check = another lie. they have been saying "fibre" but its only to your local distribution hub, then copper coax to the house, you can challenge them if they state on paper or original sign up advertising "Fibre to your house/door" your home setup and users - the most common issue people argue is not there issue. your router can be the biggest issue, if not setup correctly for gaming, they are not shipped for gaming, so if you have access and know what your doing. then start here. But do it wrong. you're basically leavening the door open. also your setup, if wireless to your computer/laptop then you will always be playing catch up, if wired then great but check your cable, run some router / cable tests, also check your computer connection, ie drivers, apps etc. - USERS = if you have brothers sisters + techie parents who are all streaming music, youtube netflix or anime cat girls then youre slice of the bandwidth pie is a lot smaller. Background programs apps etc - most common issue I see all the time is the amount of crap people have in the background.. chrome is one of them. I use chrome, but I close it right down if im gona game hardcore. this will not only eat your memory but also be continuously using the network, + all the toolbars and plugins people think are great but really just track your data. Other background apps. Like MS oneDrive, Skype, Game clients other then steam = Origin, epic, uplay. they all continously update them selves , if your not using it close it, and close if off toolbar. also check what your antivirus/firewall/security apps are doing, dont close them, but check when they are scheduled to do updates/scans , also make sure they are not blocking or restricting the game under a "false negative" [APBReloaded always throughs a false negative for me after updates, but due to the security apps i use] game - if you are running the game at high graphics + resolution but your system cant mange it, then all the data coming into your system has to be processed, this will at first seem ok, but with in a short amount of time slow your system and game down. so reduce the games resolution and/or graphics down to free up hardware resources . Packet loss can be caused by many many things. from ISP firewalls - Router - all the way down to the extreme "cable interference" . those errors dont mean much other then just logging it., it has been stated that NA <= North American ? servers are not the best or the most populated. i dont know why. this could simply be a cost provider thing. the number of possible reasons for issues is endless, server hardware, server age, server connections, server locations to you, if your in miami trying to connect to a server in cali etc. Silver lining whilst COD Warzone has been so popular APBR has become a lot more enjoyable Anyway hope all typing / reading helps you understand some of the reasons why and it wasnt my time wasted Edited February 7, 2021 by Sgt Drayke
Chilavert 9 Posted March 12, 2021 The situation has not changed. Those specialists from the provider came to me and checked the Internet and did not find any errors. It's just impossible to play the game. 50% of the players whom I know from the CIS region also complain about problems with packet loss and high ping. Merged. BlatMan 711 Posted March 13, 2021 It's the server provider Little Orbit chose to go with. Somehow they managed to find a worse provider than AWS, but I guess it's all they can afford.

Каким-то образом им удалось найти поставщика похуже AWS, но я думаю, это все, что они могут себе позволить. If only they still understood this problem. After all, in the support they say that this is not their problem, but you
