    I'm not a huge Alienware fan. They're overpriced imo, but they DO have an established name in gaming. So a promotion with them is good news, since it implies that LO has enough faith in the game to show it to potential advertisers/promotion dealmakers, and that those potential advertisers are willing to play ball with them. 

    The car is meh, but the implications that a promotion has are awesome. Tbh the only other one that comes to mind in the last half decade was that little MechWarrior game, like with the police Mech/MechWarrior car we could get in game. (Was that even the name of the game?)

    Shoving testers under NDA goes against the point of giving any form of transparency. Plus it's pretty common these days for people to just leak stuff... so why not just avoid giving them access to stuff that you don't want them to talk about? Like, this game is only holding on thanks to LO, so the last thing we need is for them to repeat the same mistakes Reloaded did.

    I mean if they've got a small list of people to watch over, I can't imagine it would be very hard to figure out who's doing the leaks.

    Hey guys!

    I've been wanting to do a community project of my own for a while. I've made APB versions of various Youtube trends, like "Drake and Josh get stuck in..." video

     

    I also did the "X Represented By Spongebob" thing

    And so on and so forth.

     

    Anyways, I've been wanting to make one of those "X dubs (insert scene name here)" videos, where fans of something record various snippets of a scene that they like and dub it over the original scene. For example, some people did a dub of the Dark Knight Rises opening scene.

     

    I wanted to make one for the APB:R opening cinematic. The one that plays every time you start the game (unless you use the Advanced Launcher). You know which one I'm talking about:

     

    "I just want to know how it feels. You know, realizing you're trapped in a situation where you're just losing control of the city"

    "That's a matter of opinion..."

    " 'Opinion'? Yeah, there's YOUR opinion and then there's the truth!"

     

    I figured it might be a fun way to bring the community together to work on a small project!

    Put it like this: 

     

    I would rather have LO support get back go me in 3 months as opposed to Puck telling me "Not much I can do. I guess you'll have to buy a new desktop.". (True story btw).

     

    When compared to what we HAD and considering the workload they have (which gets added to every day by people reporting "hackers in wf") I'd say Little Orbit support doing a pretty decent job. 

     

    I swear, its like everybody here forgot what Puck support was like.

    Anyone who complains about how "slow" support is after everything we've seen from this community (tons of reports about "hackers" who killed them too many times or other bs subjects) deserves to have their ticket sent to the bottom.

     

    Not to mention you have people who make a report, expect an immediate reply (despite knowing full well how clogged the system is) and then go "Wow wtf LO why didn't you take care of me immediately? Why dont I get the VIP treatment? God LO you suck. Lol I hope APB dies".

    Today at work, we were hosting a pumpkin painting event for kids who came to the aquarium.

    We had a couple of extra pumpkins, and I was bored, so I made a Little Orbit Pumpkin! 

    (The paint was pretty awful so it didn't last long. Matter of fact, the paint peeled off within the hour ;-; )6cpC4BG.jpg RDyqgGZ.jpg

    Fair point, but one might think that the people who have played the game religiously for so long would want the game to... not fail. One might also think that constantly discouraging the company and being a part of the problem isn't a very good idea.

     

    Oh well. I'm just here to watch, mostly

    You just described a good number of people on the forums. 

    Lots of which like to converge on any thread that holds LO in a negative light, and threads like this.

    The tiniest mess up on the company's part = APB will die any second

     

    Honestly, it's pretty funny to see the same people who play APB so much basically hope for it to fail
