    I have noticed that LO are trying to kill off APB slowly. They have piled a shed load of money at a loss to the game so far to not only give us what we want but to bankrupt them selves in the process. Man Why didnt I see and implement this plan my self? This guy is genius.

     

    Please also spell check. You look like your stabbing at the keyboard with more frustration at every stroke. Stroke being the operative word.

    Which I mean doesnt bother me. As long as she isn't banning people she doesnt like it's a step up from what we had.

    I, and many  others were talking directly with MattScott at the weekend on Discord (think he was on and in conversation for about an hour or so). I never ever spoke with anyone from G1 prior to this directly except when TIGGS perma banned me from the forum for posting about GTA5s release on PC. Now that was a ban to remember!

    I like what LO have done to keep our game alive. I did think APB was going to its grave in the end of 2017 and you know what I thought it would be a good thing and I would remanice and be sorrowful but this crazy guy MattScott came along and seen what we could do with APB.

     

    yea he tried a couple of crazy shit things that we didnt like but hey now im sure as anything that he and his crew are ont he right track,.

    This would discourage all dethreating and as everyone is in the same district, we could even bring back "a high ranked player has entered the district" in the UI as per RTW days. Then the Super Golds would have something to be proud of!

    I was there waiting when they locked it. I was part of that little group of peeps some years ago, who wanted to bring people into gold by joining the districts and waiting. I can use that as an excuse tbh. Regardless, ideally only the top 10% of current golds should actually be gold. Problem is with this pop we are looking at like 20 people in that case. Perhaps a new threat level above gold would be nice, but that will only be a nice change if we have more players. Hopefully after phasing and threat being reworked, harder measures will be taken against de-threaters as well.

    surely gold (rank) is just a number. Why not just put the number up? This would instantly reduce the amount of golds. This may also encourage people who have just turned silver to strive for gold again but the number of people who actually achieve it will be less so it will be a prestigious position to be in. 

    Also for the dethreating issue. If the amount of threat lost is slowed down to a nominal amount, it will take much much longer to dethreat and so in turn will probably make it less likely to happen.

     

    I think the best solution is to prevent people being able to have account wide shit hot guns so that you cant simply make a new character and instantly have the best guns again. Also if you have a character that is over say threat 50, if you reroll a character you are not allowed back to the low level districts at all with your new guy as you will have at least enough experience to know how to play so there is no need for you to be able to go back to stomp on noobs.

     

    Also remove the threat level icons for districts that are more than bronze. So there are Bronze for new players and the rest for better than new. Once you reach rank 50 no more access account wide for you to bronze as you now have the experience to play a higher tier game.

     

    People need to take more pride in their achievements in APB. People who dethreat need to be perma banned.

    Sorry it's hardly justifable to me, that's all. And sure EU might not be golden pill - but at least it's some proper and more popular start.

    Not even telling how much easier it would be for them to do stuff... and if it's easier, it means that they can pump content faster. Not even talking about stability which with each attached shit to overbloated engine we got new problem.

    Just recently we had topic where guy even with top tier computer have problem to run this game stable. So well...

     

    We need proper actions and RIOT surely ain't proper action. Adding RIOT looked like totally what old G1 did to me. Aka. not listening to anybody, releasing anyway and then being suprised it flopped.

    People didn't left because there was nothing to do. People left because this game got poor developers. Such decisions don't put LO in good light.

    yea man this is very true and you know what I see exactly that.. But I think LO have learned from the recent RIOT incident and are now seeing that we actually want something and they are going to deliver it. You know as well as I do that LO have done some really good things and they are trying their best right now. I have opinions about G1 and the staff their but these are things I know from having conversations witht he actual original APB devs in the pub in Dundee (where I live).. G1 took on old APB devs probably for the wrong reason. LO are nothing to do with any of them now and have a new direction and attitude. They have pretty bad info from G1. They now see what we want and i am sure Matt and his people will act on what we want.

     

    We all want whats best; me, you them us.. I dont honestly think for Matt and his team that APB is a cash cow like it was for TechMech and his crew.

    LO went super serious in RIOT and when it blown they gone for "damage control" - but there was supposed to be huge press coverage of RIOT and it was planned that RIOT would replace FC.

    They should focus at fixes to game. They are way more competent in my opinion in that manner.

    APB is must be a nightmare to work with.. they dont have as many people involved as Dave Jones did and a shit load less money..

     

    I get what your saying man but LO is new to APB in comparison to us ancient dwellers. They will get it right. They just need to play about more. We are going to get everything we want eventually.. and you know what even if we dont, we all still had a great time playing APB. It should have been dead in 2010. We still play it every day.

     

    I bet my hind teeth I will think of APB on my death bed.

    i dont get how the anti cheats dont work? If they work with other games using the same engine why dont they work with APB? BattleEye, FairFight and EAC are supposed to be the top dogs in the business. Why is APB not being protected?
