    Telling them we have to play vs best players is another. 

    When bronze veterans are crying if facing high silvers and golds why should my friends who are brand new to APB play with me on silver? 

     

    So i don't bother to bring any ppl in and just play solo sessions...

     

    They got to do SOMETHING at least...

     

    They are...... They are working on  APB so that people will want to stay.

    They mention what they are doing when something is going on that will impact APB  and keep us informed.

    Theres a list a lot longer than the short answer of " working on APB" of course.

    I believe what is meant is that bronzes were crushed beyond any playable fun at all....so they left.

    no new growth plus players getting older and having families work etc means shrinking population.

    phasing and matchmaking the way Little Orbit mentioned seems the best option for  fun game play.

    just removing segregation to be able to play now is not a good fix but instead chases the lower players and kills us as well.

     

    I kept saying there was no reason why people shouldn't invite their friends for a few years now , but no one felt like listening

    now we do not have enough people and removing segregation without a game plan for fun and fair game play just wont work.

    history already showed how dead it got not so long ago when  we did not have segregation

    because bandaid fixes are usually terrible and the one G1 did was just that.

     

    fair matches are a must for fun game play and that will help attract new and older players back to APB which is why we need phasing and other proposed changes by Little Orbit.

    I'd do a subscription. No doubt.

     

    As for " wiping " no need to do so and also if someone wanted to start over from scratch for the nostalgia of starting over , then they could just remake their char.

     

    bonus points if the new  FE also has the same or better customization that  APB has.

    Also.....what good is cheese without tacos....

    This goes both ways, and our side has significantly more of a valid argument here.

    no one stops you from playing in your proper district with your friends

    teach the game to them and go play. not like you cant carry people .

    removing threat does not = bronze vs bronze it does however mean golds against bronzes that much more - history has shown this already

    we had that somewhat recently and lost a lot of people from bronzes being crushed just as we were getting new players.

    you want people to play then invite your friends and stop putting the blame solely on others.

    you dont have friends? invite some random people to come play.

    you want more people then get more people.

    They could just look over the code and disable anything that would give an unfair advantage. Oh wait they already did, which is why the advanced launcher is still allowed, and why some config options no longer do anything.

    technical stuff aside each new block also has to be balanced and conform to apbs design philosophy, with the block itself being like a mini deathmatch arena and (theoretically, because apbs maps arent actually perfectly balanced) while also acting as a balance for the surrounding blocks

     

    i assume these are the reasons why riot map changes were 99% just adding props to the existing map, and those changes still werent very good lol

    What I wonder about is why the current maps were never updated by anyone to be larger with more to do in them.

    and no i didn't say little orbit i had said anyone as in why didn't anyone consider it in APB history.

    a major update like that is as important as an engine upgrade so of course i dont expect it tomorrow , or at all , but it would help if it were done

    good enough  excuse for npcs to say about it as well
