should've just focused on the thing we've all been saying since day one performance everything else should be secondary even those rtx crashes.

rtx crashes would be performance related.

well have a quick burst of people coming back to check out the infamous engine upgrade finally being released, but if orbit doesnt start fixing big issues pretty fast afterwards then no one is going to stick around and play the new engine with the same old gameplay flaws

i also think orbit should hold off on really advertising the engine upgrade release, 99% certain "patch day" will be absolutely unplayable

this big time. i still stand by my stance thinking the premature steam launch was a wasted move back in the olden days.

  2. searched up a few posts stating the same, it's definitely a rare occurance. logged in to check something. accidentally exited apb through alt-tab. pressed stop on steam to stop process from running. clicked on apb to start it up. bam. blue screen.

    hilarious.

clarification: not complaining about anything, i think this is an issue that happens with steam games in general and is a rare occurence. worst case scenario, you just need to copy files back and forth, or let it reinstall itself and it's latest patch which could be around ~800mb.

Straight copy-pasted from the last Premium Extention topic.

"Can't we have the premium permanent forever (changing marketing type and costs type), or just make it permanent until this pandemic will not end globally?

Would be much more easier, instead every 30 days making another topic, with wrote down the same things as the lasts 9 months, pinning another useless thing, which players alredy are aware of (i think).

Well.. if they don't live under a rock, of course.

    Agree with R3ACT3M."

it's not hard copy-pasting common issues regarding free premium during the pandemic. also not a great argument for "make premium free forever".

most companies aim to be able to maintain a subscription based model.

without premium, you also have to consider the fact that the armas marketplace contains a finite amount of items a person can buy. once they buy most of what they want, the company can no longer profit from that person. premium will always be a cheap, continuous option for both the company and consumer.

  4. toxic is one thing, but it just seems like you can't take criticism for having a bad take.

    >EVERYTHING I SAY IS TRUTH AND YOU CANNOT TELL ME OTHERWISE

well what's the point of posting on a public forum? you're already in the mindset that you're not going to be disuaded from your stance so you take every opposite viewpoint as hostile for some odd reason.

We also wanted to call attention to a small addition to the text regarding name changes on ARMAS. We now clarify that the name change option is not designed for capitalization changes. If you would like to make such a change, you will need to purchase 2 separate name changes and completely log out of the game in between each name change.

Why? Not that this is something that I'd do, but I would have assumed this would have been possible by submitting a support ticket, or already be allowed through purchasing one name change...odd system.

i dont think being able to push a weapon beyond its intended niche is a bad thing, for gameplay or balance, as long as the further a weapon is pushed the higher the risk becomes - i think the 550 damage scout was a fantastic example of a gun that could do a whole lot in the right hands, but with proportional risks (bolt timer, rof, ca3 regen counter) that heavily punished mistakes

and the constant reminder that people who have spent an absurd amount of time, like top 1%, have incredible game sense at this point. it's muscle memory. they make it look easy because it is easy, for them.

i know there are various gunfight scenarios that can happen in this game, but if you're using an smg and a guy with a scout is beating you, i think that says more about the player than the scout.

provided that the weapons stuck to there class. in this game you can use a smg as a rifle and a LMG as a multi class tool that works for everything and a sniper for cqc and long range there really isnt a class name per say expect role leveling

i used to think damage dropoff was dumb because it makes the game feel "smaller", and it still feels that way. but it definitely put weapons into their niche.

you gotta keep in mind that a good player with a weapon "outside of it's niche" would still win over a meh player with a gun playing in it's proper role. that's just how the game is, but i don't think it'd be a good idea to make weapons completely useless outside of x, because it would increase the feeling of how garbage a weapon feels in this games odd hitboxes, hitreg and rng.

Pixel shooting under cars and near the walls? I would argue that it just unfair as it benefits certain pin point weapons over other CQC weapons in this field?

but isn't that the point of having weapons that have strength and weaknesses?

the weapon roles marksman and pointman are named so for a reason i think.
