    Sorry but that's bullshoot, anti-cheat efficiency depends on a lot of factors including how much you're willing to pay and how the actual developer implements their checks, you can't compare Rust's EAC to the EAC that Dirty Bomb uses in the same way that you can't compare the BE that R6S uses to the BE APB uses. Comparing Rust's EAC to APB's BE is unfair, compare Rust's EAC to R6S' BE if you're going to make a comparison.

    FFXI has a larger population currently, it came out over 15 years ago and still runs on a subscription-based service, it also aged way worse graphically and mechanically than APB has, "the game is old XD!" isn't an excuse for the game being dog shit and never will be.

    Uhh, wut? Lixil was running a program where people could voluntarily apply for a GM position that was sort of like the old SPCM, it wouldn't be "too much money" if you just get volunteers you trust who have a clean record and act properly on the forum (e.g. not spreading misinfo on the forums, not being clueless about cheats, not being clueless on the game and how it's played, etc) but that rules out most of the APB community.

    No seriously what is it with you guys? The "review" is bad, yes, but how is the guy supposed to know he has the items held count located beneath his weapon? The game makes no indication of that to a new player. How is he supposed to know what character mods are? Weapon mods? How does he get grenades? How does he get a character mod? What's the key to use my deployable mods? Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

    I had that thought but due to physical ailments I'm unable to, so instead I program C/C++ all day, don't need to play the game when I can just shitpost about the state of it and play FC when I'm not busy on a project. 🙃

    I'm actually curious as to where all of the people who were defending (read: shilling) the shotguns are at, why aren't there more in this thread? There were a lot talking about how great it was just a week or so ago, now they're all MIA suddenly. 🤔

    Off-topic: I got called a hacker today by a Russian corner camping with a JG because I .45'd him before he could kill me. Hiiiiiiiiiiilarious how bad you have to be for that to happen.

    Gone to Citadel or off the game because it's unplayable most of the time.

    EDIT: Living in Maryland, it has been raining like mad past few months, my house flooded at one point as a result because the reservoir beneath the foundation was like "nah man FUCK this", re-configuring the sump pump helped quite a bit though, last owners clearly had no idea wtf they were doing with that one.

    From what I understand the HMG term was pretty much phased out and replaced with autocannon (autocannons are used if it fires >10mm rounds, while <10mm rounds are considered LMGs), however, according to Wikipedia.

    You can achieve the legendary using in-game money as it is, pretty much no other game lets you do this without first spending real money (whether it be just buying it outright at an insanely stupid cost, or having to spend IRL money just to get a chance to get said item), I hope they don't change it because it's fine as it is. You can spend hundreds of dollars and not attain the item you want out of the box in other games too, it's not like APB is the exception in this scenario. It'd be nice to not get eye gouged, having APB set its own standard to show the greedy AAA companies that you don't need loot boxes in your game to survive, but if LO doesn't, it's still far better as it is right now than the majority of other games are.

    I don't play on Jericho and basically nobody I know does, they're either not playing because the game is unplayably laggy, or they're playing on Citadel because it works or they're from Europe.

    N-TEC is actually one of the least effected weapons by the changes, it's felt a lot more by OBIR/Obeya/Carbine/Oscar than it is by N-TEC. N-TEC is not going to drop out of the meta because of these changes, no gun will really, it's more like a lot of guns that got neutered by these changes were not the ones intended to be neutered so people will just drop it and not use it, the game will still be played pretty much exactly the same.
