Why are you playing on bronze district, stomping new players and dethreating on purpose before leaving the game, then repeating the same action over and over? This was SURELY addressed countless times but honestly, I didn't read that much into it, but if there are people on this forum who are like this, tell me, what is the purpose of doing this? Because the bonus exp and cash for killing is what, 5% more than normal if you get 20 more kills on bronze and green players? What is the problem of playing on silver districts when you've already mastered APB to it's core, stomping people on the same level as you rather than new comers that might even stay with the game, if they wouldn't get their patootie kicked all the time by people with incredible skills that are supposed to be shown on SILVER districts (or gold, that is always a ghost town)

Because they're twats. Anything else is a bullshoot excuse. People can go on about small population and matchmaking, but this was also happening when we had 4 - 5x as many players as we do now and there was enough for players to get matches in Silver district.

I never did it and I'm nowhere near the top of the Gold food chain. There's been literally 100s of Golds in this game who can kerbstomp me yet I never felt the need to intentionally drop threat to avoid them.

To second what has been said before, I use Razer hardware and the game is perfectly playable. Delete AutoHotKey from Synapse 2.0 if you don't use it and it'll be fine. Pretty much the only reason you'd use it in APB is to macro trigger.

Does he even need to delete it? Surely if he closes down the AHK software when he wants to play APB there'll be nothing for BE to detect and kick for?

OP is either really dumb / stubborn or is using macros to cheat. BE doing its job either way.

And why tf has 4x4 less health than the normal vegas?
It costs fking 10k JT, it should be minimum as good.

Considering it has far superior handling and acceleration from a standing start than the regular Vegas, I expect it'll still be a better car even with this hp nerf.

What feedback are you going to give from a few hours of testing that the SPCT didn't already give in months? Think for a second.

Wait, so you're telling me that no more bugs or issues will crop up opening up the Beta to more players than are available for SPCT? Sure why does anyone bother with an Open Beta then? Just go straight to release from Closed Beta. Shouldn't be any problems, clearly.

Think for more than a second.

That alone would stop half of the cheaters because right now most of the cheaters beleave that only hackers are banned.

What sort of drugs are you taking in order to believe that? Cos they must be good and I want some.

Most people who cheat know full well that it's against the rules and they can be banned for it, if caught. They just don't think they'll get caught.

  7. I said at least 4 years ago that threat should be hidden and auto-join enforced to put people with broadly the same threat as each other.

    This would result in:

    - More difficulty dethreating since you can't track your threat loss, or intentionally join a Bronze district once you've gone from Gold to Silver

    - Less point in intentionally dropping to Green threat so you can show off your R255 Green symbol as some class of achievement

    - Less threat 'obsession', such as giving up before a shot is fired, Gold players trying to remove Silver players from their team etc.

    - Better in-district matchmaking

Sadly, I think the playerbase has declined to the point that enforcing auto-join isn't viable anymore, but hiding threat is still an option. Obviously, hiding threat without auto-join would require removal of district segregation, since you can't see threat. We'd still possibly achieve nos. 1 - 3.

  8. APB Tourettes. We've all had it at some point.

As NoobQueen says, you should try uninstalling if you want to enforce a break on yourself. Sure, you might end up re-installing in a bout of nostalgia and poor impulse control but re-installing will be an inconvenience and a time sink, and you're could just as likely end up making a new account if support let you delete your old one, as you are to reinstall if you delete the game.

I suppose if you really wanted to, you could make a new email account, see can you associate your APB account & its recovery options with that email. (idk if they let you do that easily cos of account selling / stealing). Then if you can do that, change the password for both your APB account and the email address you've now linked to it to random keystrokes that you couldn't possibly re-produce (something like: aklshgo[ashgl'asngjap'stgu-81= 9) to lock yourself out. There's a chance you could get it back via support at some point in the future, but it's quite possible that you'd lose it permanently.

Definitely try uninstalling it first and see does that keep you away without losing all your progress.

Hope we gonna test it on old pop capacity, not current one.

Current district pop is bandaid for past poor server performance.

We'll only have Asylum and Breakwater Marina and Asylum's always been 20 players per faction. I can't remember if they ever changed Breakwater's limit, but given it's a more passive district I don't imagine having more or less players there is going to tell us much.
