    Good topic, i was thinking the same. 

    For now, what they can do is promote events and give players cosmetics, so that old players can stick to the game (Slay Bells/Beacon was pretty decent, i like it, they are learning).

    Once the engine upgrade is out with matchmaking some ppl will come back

    Then you need to keep people entertained, i suggest a new tutorial, some cool rewards for playing like if you play 10 missions a day you gain 5 gc, new events, ARMAS Sales. Hint:  Give players many modes/reasons to play

    In the future, new districts, new contacts, new game modes.

    Finally, change the game's name APB Reloaded Reloaded(just kidding lol), maybe APB 2, a big update so that they can relaunch it

    That's it.

    Overall, I really hope Matt has a good plan in his mind to bring players back and our suggestions should help him out.

    If they are clever enough, they would know that bringing players back to the game is the most important thing now.

    The event is fun but the exclusivity is ridiculous.

    Its an event meant for veteran players with good skill

    Im supporting LO, but even halloween event was better imo.

    Thats the least thing L.O. could do to compensate all the flaws even after the patch

    I cant express how frustrated i am about this event and its exclusivity to pro golds only.

    The current matchmaking system has its flaws but it works. People seem to forget that out of 40 players on district, some are AFK, some are already on a mission and some are just ram raiding or even chilling.

    So the low population (mainly Jericho) is behind the scenes making the matchmaking worse, and people only complain about the matchmaking. 

     

    I think a new matchmaking with new calculation and/or threats would take a hella of time to be done and its not guaranteed that it will succeed. Instead of remaking everything from scratch and spend so much time and effort doing that, in my opinion the following these steps are the way to go:

     

     1 - Implement 3.5 engine with cross district matchmaking and see how the current system goes, wait for weeks or months

     2 - Does it improve any better? Patch some bugs and tweak the gain/loss threat, handle the outliers and the premade groups

    There are already some threads with criticism.

    So...What do you guys like on the event?

     

    I had some fun trying to get as many kills as i could, even though it was chaos.

    Personally, i liked playing with guns that i dont have like the Showstopper and Yukon.

     

    There is also a gun from events only i suppose, that you have the chance to play with. I had to search wiki because i have never played with it :

    I liked the idea of  the event, very challenging, but some things could be tweaked: 
    - Fight area radius
    - Fix the grey/red names appearing and disappearing so quickly
    - Give the skin to the person that doesnt have it following the scoreboard, if 1st place have it then skin goes to 2th (someone else suggested it)
    - Make the event last more (maybe 2 hours?)

    I think the new skin fits the autumn theme more than the butcher skin.However, i expect to see those old skins ( including the butcher skin) return at some later events.

    I dont agree on exclusivity, even new players should be able to get old cosmetics, thats how you bring new players to this game imo

    how about recognizing that LO is making hundredfold the effort old G1 management did in 2016 - 2018. you can't win if you don't try, and i really respect LO for trying very hard.

    @MattScott @Lixil servers came back up but all these server issues have def affected how high of a rank I can get for halloween.

    There is nothing much they can do i think. First, they need to improve the servers infraestructure, not an easy task. Jericho has been under ddos mitigation.
