Frenzy, Misery, ISSR-A, CORB-A, ATAC, LCR... All different weapons with their own stats. Maybe I forgot a few?
Frenzy is a sort of close-quarter oriented N-TEC, Equipe a sight and a heavy barrel (2 I think) and TAP that firebutton for rapidfire suppression. But the gun required more shots to kill by default.

People learn the hard way that there is no loophole in the ToS and that they are in fact, cheating.
You'd be surprised how many people show up having been shadow banned "for no reason" only for us to to learn they were macro users thinking it was ok because of some nonsense about being built into the mouse.Good, good. That makes me happy.
I mean for real, I understand people like APB:R and that people want to play it well..... But to REDUCE THE GAME TO POTATO MODE is something no real fan would do. That is such a waste. (Yes, even for 'this' visual quality game... But I think that gives it A LOT of charm <3) -

The majority 45 users who are gods and never misses a single shot, are those same users with potato graphics config that allows them to play with 300 fps+, with macros, with no recoil configs. When you call them out as hackers, they will calmly deny it because they indeed aint hackers. They are dirty cheaters. They cheat the system and exploit it.I was calmly told by several macro users, that they are not cheating, they are simply using their legal mouse software of mouse which allows them to macro. Reply was, buy yourself an expensive mouse as well and macro like us.
So yea...anti cheat will never catch those, because anti cheat is looking for illegal software in processes and there wont be none. And cheaters will remain. For real? That is what they told you?
So the Anti-Cheat isn't working because like some Joker Gunworks or Colby shenanigens they found A LOOPHOLE in the TOS and such. That's F'ing bull. LittleOrbit should get rid of that crap asap -

And no I am telling you i am solo player. This whole post before, is a point of view of a random solo player (me). I don't have friends in APB, all people I had, left APB long ago around 2020's when was the time.
So when I join saturday afternoon gameplay its only me playing against what APB gives me. And that is what I based a lot of text on prior message.
You got perspective of a solo player.
And aside constant district shifting's which additionally steals my time waiting, missions I get are always opposed against premade gold groups.
I agree APB has always been a hard game, nobody questions that. But the current state of MM is unplayable.
Having fun is spending time doing missions and winning at least some of them. Having not fun is a definition of being constantly grouped against pre grouped discord users and winning 0 missions.
Even though I am max gold I stand no chance against 4 maxed discord golds. At best I kill 2 being tagged from both, 3rd 4th easily ends my life. While my team mates a combination of hilarious ranks threats and IQ's roam around the financial searching what they have to do, or simply rush and die and get farmed.
At this point its no strategy, no challenge, no anything you pointed out at, its simple comedy of extended masochism being pointlessly farmed by pre grouped enemies.Oh yeah I completely agree with that.
I suppose apoligies are in order: Sorry my friend. I am not sure how the miscommunication came to be but there's just so many people complaining on the forum. Most of which only complain for the sake of complaining without even giving any arguments.

Don't get me wrong. I agree with the points made. But sulking about it and only playing when odds are in your favor because your friends are online is what I feel to be the wrong mindset. I understand. I know the game is tough. But that is just how it is.
APB, for all its flaws should be learned to enjoyed at face value. Yes it sucks to have cheaters, yes it sucks to have non-functioning randoms. But that is just how it is.Of course I would enjoy it more if it were any easier. But I don't hope for easier, I push through. And you know what, I have fun. The few picks I get feel soooo satisfying.Whenever I stream the game I keep telling people that: 'This game hates you, RRAAAHHHH! (the lamppost blocks my shot)' and that 'this game is unfair to you. GRRRR (The spawnpoint was in clear sniper sightline)'. And that sucks. But I expect no less. It forces me to play strategicaly, even when the outcome would not change. Even if I am trying my best and my allies call me a 'noob' (after which I report them of course). To me, APB is about the little things. It has fun, and it makes you WORK for it."You are not expected to succeed on your first expedition. Heroes will die, failure will be abound, and the world will seek to smother your flame. Take heart. Do not relent. Press forward through the encroaching gloam and face your fears. Redemption, at last, can be found deep within the' uhhh. havelynd urban jungles? -

Alright mate. You may like or dislike APB:R in it's current form and I get that.
But if you're reserving specific time of the week to play a game but only when some friends because 'oh no I will lose otherwise and I don't want to play uphill matches all day' then may I suggest you play a different game until the current situation with cheaters is resolved.
I don't blame you. I just don't think this game is what you should be investing in then.
-
I think whoever starts talking about 'APB:R is a game you must play as premades, with a friend.' should immediately reconsider.
Take it to League of Legends so you can improve your rank and minmax your MMR.APB is a game of fun. I lose tons of missions but the walnut that I need to crack is the part that is fun.
Go ahead, call me toothpaste and go back to reviewing 'the meta' so you can win as much as possible.

I think purple mods are very good.
I do not play with cheats. But using the Tagger-mod allows for real nasty onesided fights when low-height cover is used, as it gives you 'wallhacks' (you can see the tagger above the player hovering above the cover). People think it is supporting (and I agree) but hell I put it on shotguns as it makes me aim easier (for some reason it makes aiming easier to track for me).
Mobility Sling is a gamechanger for many weapons, usually assault rifles.
3-point Sling is also real good on specific weapons that can really be the difference between scoring a kill or not.
As for Kevlar, I don't think the ladder/doors thing is gonna work. People work around it with the doors and the ladder thing, whilst thematicaly fitting, I don't think ladders are even making an impact on gameplay. The weapon switching is something, but it only makes it infuriating to play with. -
Kind of sick of the people who are only here to complain and tell other people they are 'stupid'....
Anyway, I think Kevlar should not have an impact traveling-wise but more of an impact combat-wise. I suggested the same run and sprint speed BUT aiming makes you stop dead centre in your place.
This allows for counterplay and is not downright annoying to have equiped. That said, close quarters might need some fine-tuning to be kept in check. (more damage up close but still overall more effective-health than normal?). Open to suggestions of course. -

LOOK AT ME I AM COMPLAINING LOL OH GUYS THIS ISNT THE WAY WHAT A TROLL OH NOES I STUBBED MY TOE
How about you lay down the potato chips and actually speak some arguments like someone who is not trying to look like a troll.
The Colby .45AP is a problem and you stand idle.
No audience could love you

2 hours ago, vsb said:You made an fbw with less bullets, congratulations on your “balance”
Yes that's the point. But this one aims.
THAT is the trade-off.
You sound like someone who is suspiciously okay with people running around with an Overpowered secondary that shines in the hands of people who never miss their shots.
Do you miraculously hit every single shot? Do you outplay the odds every single time by 'skill' that you are so defiant against a weapon like this being nerfed? Are you able to stand against the people who also use this weapon and also 'miraculously' hit every shot without fail?
Are you one of them?Let's see if you understand what I am calling you here

Eyyy the Etnies Series Racer!

That would be sooooo dope

I 100% agree.
Also about potentialy nerfing .45AP, I'd say give it a bigger magazine +2 and make it need +1 more shots to kill. I'm no statistics expert (I am, but I just cannot forsee how this would go) but I'd be curious to see how this would play out.
People have proven their 'skill' (if that's what someone would call it) with the weapon. Now let us tone down the skill-ceiling and also lower the skill-floor. I'm inclined to say 'buff the accuracy' as a trade-off but when I compare it to the Obeya-FBW it is already MUCH more accurate so I wouldn't want that to happen.

Let me know your thoughts on this
Maybe also something regarding jumping height? Ammo capacity (if this proves too OP when scriptkiddies use it)?
I do appreciate the slowness of Kevlar as it is, but REPOSITIONING with Kevlar or just moving from A to B AT ALL feels horrible.I feel like it would be much more nice of an experience to remove the effect of slowing the player from moving locations, and instead SLOW the player whilst they are AIMING by 99% like a hefty anti-MobilitySling (maybe even an 'COD-ADS' delay). This adds counterplay, isn't too frustrating to use and also allows peaking in-and-out of gunfire to 'wittle down' the kevlar user due to their high regeneration delay.
But I can see it becoming a problem for CQC and defenders of objectives though.... -
8 hours ago, Victoria97 said:honestly ntec is not a problem, 45 is. 45 is literally destroying a game. Some people in FC literally don't even use primary weapon they just use 45.
If there was a population of 10 000 players this would matter, but since game is dying slowly but certainly at this point every buff and nerf is already way way belated. If they nerf 45 people will switch to obeya pistol and do same thing.
All pistols should be raised to 7 bullets ttk or simply deleted from the game.Oh no not this again.
Honestly someone going toe-to-toe with me with a Obeya FBW is completely fine.
.45 just pushes it over the line. People keep complaining about .45 is op BUT WAIT NEXT GUN WILL BE [weapon] AND THAT WILL BE THE NEW..-
shut it. SHUT.
I'm done of that argument. I BET that if you'd put every single weapon TTK in an excel sheet and organise it high to low (or low to high) you would find a difference of 0.02 seconds each step.
FBW is fine. Colby 45.AP is not. (0.2 seconds of TTK diff by the way)

I feel like Fragile users are
1) very, very awesome.
2) have that DBZ-stereotype of training with weighted clothing (ironically). Once they start putting Fragile away they have a good chance of being 'simply better' than those who didn't train with it.
I respect other Fragile users whenever I encounter them.

I'm afraid that if you wanted to go all "Joker" (Ammo?)
Going all "Clown" was a poor choice.-

Honestly I'd rather see the slowness penalty be reduced slightly.
Running Kevlar 3 in this meta and enviroment already means that you are not running any sort of level of Clotting Agent, which is an indirect penalty all on itself.Giving MORE health would be problematic and unfun to play against, whereas being a bit more mobile makes the perk less frustrating to use AND you still have to play around the downside of 'its not Clotting Agent'. (<I am not a Clotting Agent slave by the way, I love running Kevlar and Fragile strategicaly).

I actually agree with MACKxBOLAN for ocne,
I think Escalation is pretty stupid. It's a tool for tryhards/sweatlords.
What people tend to forget also is how INCREDIBLY UNBALANCED the game becomes for the attacking side.
2v2? If you play smart and get the double, the objective is yours.
8v8 and you made a quad? Tough luck buddy the sniper was aiming at the objective door GG NO RE mission failed.
It completely puts the mission to a standstill. If you are attacking the objective and your teammates are playing like, at all:
DO NOT call for escalation. You are SHOOTING YOURSELF in the foot. But with the requirement of thinking about something called 'consequence' leaves little hope for people actually using it to their advantage.
In my opinion, lower player amount allows for MUCH MUCH MUCH more strategical plays and chess-like gameplay. Strategies can be employed and tricks can make their appearance.
High playercounts just ensures that nothing you do ever matters.

I'm not sure I follow.
I always make sure the streets are safer compared to when I found them. Money in the mix or not, I relentlessly hunt crime.
You should know I sometimes wake up to Aletta Cadagan's voicelines on Youtube."Round up everyone of these bastards and shoot them in the head. Do it in plain sight if you have to." -Aletta Cadagan

14 minutes ago, CookiePuss said:Enforcers witnessing ram raiders is how it’s supposed to work.
Free money mechanics are dumb.
Districts should have to have a minimum player count before the money laundry appears. (Meaning you can’t ram raid without enforcers in the district)
I dunno. Having a world ready with only crims is a good sign that ramraiding is in progress and it usually makes the crims very lax in staying protective of their stash.
A good enforcer could smell opportunity just after the loginscreen alone.
If they are interested in sums that is. (But I do think the witness missions should scale to equal numbers on both sides. Tired of 1v2'ing for PLAYING THE GAME just cause Goofy had Donald around (and thus in turn often dying after killing the person witnessed and then falling to their teammate and losing ALL opportunity AND helping the criminals with dropping of their stash) -
STAR is underrated.
Infact (and I'm well aware the weapons are 95% the same) I think that the FAR is THE Assault Rifle in the game that has the best multi-purpose use. It is the middle ground between STAR and N-TEC and does both sustained fire (STAR) and accurate burst/semi-auto fire very well.

Additionally we have decided to extend the Anniversary event and sale by another week! Now scheduled to end on the 20th.
Thank you for your patience.
Oh so it DOES end!
I have been looking at the Blog / Steam-news page and it said it was 'live' at the time of the post but it never said any date it would 'end'.
I frankly don't even know what 'event' there is but I'm gonna assume it's just JT roles to gain (and titles).Would have been nice to read on the blog which dates the event is live. Guess I better haul my arse over to Sin Paradise (as I like to call it).
