Really, really weird. Now all the chips are down. Now it's all cleared up. Since 2019 and no news from "APB Mobile". Why didn't Frosi ask Matt Scott any of this at the AMA? We had a chance to corner Matt Scott in the AMA, but it went down the drain. Man... I really didn't know this stuff, I'm pretty pissed right now, the reality is APB is never going to get better with this company. Unless they change all the employees, including Matt Scott. What is your opinion about the company Little Orbit?

how to fix apb and make it popular again
MrLek replied to Mercedeez's topic in General Discussion Archive
The problem is not in the name, it's in the bad management. -
Where does this "Chinese developer" fit in here? Why does no one have more information about this "Chinese developer"? Sorry for so many questions, it's because they say so many mixed things here on the forum, without foot or head and I just try to put the parts together to understand. I've seen people talk a lot about this "Chinese developer", but what they basically say is this, that he bought the Ip. There is nothing else? Please, if you know more information about this "Chinese developer" talk here and show the source of the information. I don't mean to be rude here, but it turns out that this just seems like a fallacy to try to discredit the L.O. Very little information and without any evidence, nobody shows anything truly compromising and with proofs. edit: Frosi was supposed to have asked about this "Chinese developer" at the AMA. :/

1 - What is the possibility of a company buying the APB? 2 - Would the possibility increase if the APB closed? 3 -How much is the APB currently worth? 4 - How much would a company offer to buy the APB? 5 - What kind of company would buy APB these days? 6 - A large, medium or small company? 7 - Do you know companies open to buy games? quote. 8 - Why doesn't L.O put the APB up for sale? Since L.O is not able to keep it. 9 - What is your opinion about Little Orbit? Sorry so many questions. The last: 10 - Excuse my ignorance, but would selling a game be "similar" to selling a football player, put a price and play on the market? edit: 11 - Is it worth buying the APB?

There are other things involved. Also for example, when beginners come to the apb and play against several golds.
-
When I say "gold empire", i mean hackers who are evidently mostly in gold.
-
In NA you must enter at 6 after noon. edit: It's the time when there are more players.

I honestly have mixed feelings about APB's issues. I can't have a concrete opinion about his problems. There are so many things, you are right to complain about so much time without anything, matchmaking, hackers, toxicity, among other things. However, the company has reasons for not having done anything all this time, few employees, problems with old codes, failed attempts (APB 2.1, APB 2.2), among other things. I hope this next year will be a good one, according to what was discussed at the AMA with Matt Scott. But some of you here on the forum are changing my opinion about this company. We could play in peace if "simple" problems were solved quickly like matchmaking, chat toxicity, active GM's, hackers, among other things.

It becomes a joke to compare the effect of the apb bomb with this:
-
We don't have bombs in the APB that have the function of raising smoke or blinding people. So there's no way to compare. The function of the bomb in APB is just to take damage. You can see the red nick of the enemy passing by. They could make the enemy's red nick bigger.
-
I don't think this is unfair, you could ask L.O to put the option to remove the smoke within the APB options, it would be more democratic. Whoever wanted to play with smoke would activate the option, who had a bad PC and wanted to play with a little more FPS would deactivate it.

I'm not talking about relationship. Merged. I understand your revolt.

A game is more work than a meal. You are the chef's son and you just want lunch, the chef tries to make a full lunch but his own kitchen doesn't have all the ingredients for it, he tries again but again he doesn't have all the ingredients for it and not enough staff . Then he really starts to prepare just a lunch which is what you need. In the future, it will be stabilized enough to give you a full lunch. The APB is not prepared for a big jump.

I don't understand the most technical subject, but anyway I have my right to express my opinion, even when I don't understand it... Many people will identify with my opinion, so I'm not just speaking for myself, and I might as well be speaking for many people who do not open the forum. The fact is the following: Years have passed and what we have now does not match the time that has passed. Here's my take: This doesn't mean Little Orbit didn't try anything, it doesn't mean they spent all these years doing nothing. They tried great things. So in my opinion they are seeing now that the problem is at the root, to achieve something big they went back to the root (APB 1.30) to solve it. Perhaps you yourself do not know the problems, as do I and many other people. I'm being honest here, I don't know what you work for, if you're a programmer, game developer, etc. Anyway, don't misunderstand my comments. You can take into consideration some points of what I said.

What advantage does this give in the game?

You certainly have not read the entire text.

Why are some people criticizing Little Orbit's work? L.O wanted a big update, they tried APB 2.1 and APB 2.2, but APB has a lot of problems and once again they tried something, only they had to go to the root of the problems, they went back a lot, APB 1.30. But L.O took years to understand that, because APB 2.1 and APB 2.2 were not worked on in a short time, it took a long time to work on both, good thing, they didn't give up, and a lot of people still criticize... L.O could have closed the APB a long time ago, but they didn't give up. The attempt of APB 2.1 and APB 2.2 served to show L.O where the error really was. Because just like us, they also thought big, but the reality is this: The APB has problems at the roots, in order to dream big we have to solve the problem at the roots, so that it can grow. We cannot treat this with the view we currently have on the problem, we detected the problem after many failed attempts, we learn from the mistakes...

There are many people who play with lousy computers, and removing the fog, removing the quality of the weapon skins, removing the light from the shots, removing some particles from spray missions, etc., end up helping to gain a little more FPS.

1 - Who owns APB Reloaded? Gamersfirst or Little Orbit? 2 - Who owns Gamersfirst? 3 - Does Little Orbit have full rights to do whatever they want with APB? 4 - What about Gamersfirst? 5 - What is the use of Gamersfirst? 6 - Why doesn't Little Orbit pass all Gamersfirst games into its name?

An Open Letter from the APB community
MrLek replied to MattScott's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Suggestion: Little Orbit, use your social networks frequently '-' Mainly instagram and youtube. Not necessarily just for APB Reloaded, but to move them around and show that the company is still alive. -
Let me get this straight... Is Matt Scott, CEO of L.O, saying that Jericho is going to die in 3 months?
-
See this post, I managed to solve it on my computer.
-
I am also having this problem after this update. I hope they fix this.
