ALL CHEATERS BULLETINS (APB)
Markz replied to JOSELA's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
There's hope after all. Check Twitch link. It's a long video, but explains what has been happening with anti-cheat side of things in about first 15 min. My 2 cents about fps lock if developer team sees this as people want to uncap fps and it creates sliding issues is to hard lock fps cap to 146 fps as most 1ms 1080p screens nowdays are running at 144Hz so sometimes when you lock such screen refresh rate to 144 fps it might try to go over to 145.? fps and some stay at 143 fps so that getting over creates sliding (some weird anomaly with network code/game code and also monitor hardware related). I'm using 240Hz 1440p screen, but locked it at 143 fps and noticed sliding right after it went over 144 fps so if you can somehow set it to constant 128~130 fps lock (as it is now without uncapping) and lock out fps uncap config once and for all, but keep smooth framerate optional, that works. Anything monitor related config things fiddled outside of game options are a bad idea, because those creates advantages as you can see even in Counter-Strike Tournaments with real money prizes (those issues has been seen by tournament organizers so many times over the years). -
ALL CHEATERS BULLETINS (APB)

Learning curve in this game is too steep with different weapons, using camera angle, hiding properly, ranking contacts takes time, weapon ranks take time and then you get matches against veteran players too many times and some might feel like cheating while getting better and now you get frustrated enough that you borrow daddy's credit card and go looking for private cheats than learning your way through. Now this one guy is selling you undetected cheat for let's say 30 bucks and is telling you to spread the word to your friends if they play and creator of that hack is old APB player with too many bans and wants to do harm to APB: Reloaded just for own amusement, but little did he know that kid with that hack now spreads it like it's gold and the problem starts. Now this hack creator sees huge money hole with those hacks and starts making them better and keeping them updated and selling more of them while this plague of cheaters keeps happening and he just smiles while some even gets banned, but because anti-cheat does not do what it is supposed to do or it's deactivated and game does not get updated to make hack creator job harder it just goes on and on like a wildfire and soon game is actually dead, because there are only cheater vs. cheater matches left. This issue also prevents them from buying anything with their daddy's credit card from armas anymore, because this hack creator might've found a way to give you guns etc. so you don't have to buy any of that stuff. Now we legit players are left to watch how APR: Reloaded slowly, but surely dies and either try to play against cheaters or uninstall and that's that. -
Yeah i get this like every 1-2 h. Fiber optics connection so this has to be server issue.

Yes that's true you can't stop it making gold/silver rank servers, because while we all legit players want new players to have that same fun and build player base up again like we used to have before that insane amount of hacks done to the game happened back then and from around 3-5 months after official release. It just doesn't happen without small patch at least once a week and anti-cheat with file check at random times without breaking into server files and getting file needed to know that random timing which is a crime after that and file needs replacement so you can't build hack around server timing and file check would make it annoying to avoid every week (MAC bans after 3rd warning), but you also gotta remember nowdays as there are so many who use at least wall hack (yesterday one guy even told it so in district chat) that those are the players who pay the most to keep server bills and paychecks in check. It worked well with anti-cheat awhile 10 years ago when they patched something every week so maybe friday to tuesday were days without hack users and rest of the week was better to be offline and waiting for new patching. Started again after 10 years and noticed a lot of wall hacking going on and i didn't care, because i knew it already without even stepping into first mission and next 3 missions were godlike unfair missions, because they didn't care and was just blatant WH gaming. Edit: Well today i saw a new low at Fightclub (180 degree turn aimbotters and i bet those bots do the shooting also so player only moves) lol What kind of playing is that ? You buy AI to do playing for you ? Checked older posts and if they really let cheaters to cheat then what's the point of playing anymore ? New players can't start, because they get killed instantly in missions and in fightclub so i do not understand what's the logic behind it or are they secretly trying to kill the game slowly ?. I just wanted to give it a go and play again after so many years. This was clan WASP (from back then) type of blatant cheating if you know what i mean. And why is it that it's always cops who cheat the most ? I would assume crims would hack more and it has been like that always. Also before yelling hackers to district chat you need to remember that there are also veteran players who can efficiently use camera angles and knows every little corner among jump tricks to building areas from that map and how long it takes for you to reach certain spot and when to throw nades (they've been playing with multiple accounts over the years). I'm also guilty doing that when maybe it was not needed after all. Anyway enough of this jabbering and a little hint for new players who just found the game through friends etc.: Try to look your way into active and helpful clan asking through Social District, but if you're unlucky finding one then try to get a feel for different type of guns and tactics through Fightclub if there are people playing and normal mission district gaming doesn't work for you yet (also use Advanced server option to see all district player amounts). You can also Google " APB: Reloaded beginner guide "or " APB: Reloaded how to get better " well you'll find those good guide links eventually.
