You're insulting a newer player for playing the game as it's meant to be played, instead of cheesing it? Ram raiding in crowded districts is how it was meant to be done in APB. Ram raiding alone in districts is not. I promise that looking over your back while carrying big cash and then sharing stories of the intensity of the experience is far more fun than hiding in an empty district for up to an hour as you somehow seem to be bragging about. I agree there shouldn't be money laundering or even storefront smashing in an empty district.

I gotta (and am happy to) say ... Since the GFAC release I've been having a great time. Matchmaking seems to take longer but my matches are generally far better balanced than before. And I don't expect the AC to be totally effective but it's great knowing at least the cheaters are being cautious if not stopped. You're doing it, LO. Thanks & please keep it up

I use the APB advanced launcher downloaded from the GamersFirst website to force everything related to graphics to max possible. With GFAC etc can we still use advanced launcher?

When running the GFAC installer I instructed it to install to G:\GFAC . It installed most of the files to that directory but it also dropped 4 files in C:\Program Files\GFAC the default folder My Computer Specifications: Processor - AMD-based Graphics Card - AMD-based RAM - N/A to this issue What kind of drive APB is installed on. - N/A to this issue Operating System - Windows 10 Pro Anti-Virus software - N/A to this issue My AV also quarantined GFAC as ransomware but I don't care to share which product that was, and I'm working on exceptions. It would be nice if LO would suggest AV exceptions

Back in the day playing APB, two things were true 1) It was believed overlays would get you banned. The idea Steam overlay could get flagged freaked me out 2) My rig with a ATI 7950 and a AMD 8300 would range 30-60 FPS. I would close everything I could on my computer to make APB run faster So running steam wasn't a priority. Plus we were all on TeamSpeak or Ventrilo and didn't need Steam to communicate

Using the advanced launcher you can still play APB today without Steam. Players like me who still do this I don't think would show up on the Steam charts. Although admittedly the last week population has been limited.
