Back in the day playing APB, two things were true 1) It was believed overlays would get you banned. The idea Steam overlay could get flagged freaked me out 2) My rig with a ATI 7950 and a AMD 8300 would range 30-60 FPS. I would close everything I could on my computer to make APB run faster So running steam wasn't a priority. Plus we were all on TeamSpeak or Ventrilo and didn't need Steam to communicate

Using the advanced launcher you can still play APB today without Steam. Players like me who still do this I don't think would show up on the Steam charts. Although admittedly the last week population has been limited.

Over the past day we've been having districts crash every hour or so. Is this also addressed in the maintenance?
