Some people change the screen resolution so that this weapon has no recoil. This creates an imbalance

yes yes blame them its thier fault for being UNLUCKY..

its always someones else fault but not theirs.
To begin with I hardly believe that a representative from LO had nothing to do with the paper work of the hardware being transferred like they claim.
Then, I hardly believe LO had nothing to do with the fact wrong CPUs have arrived.
and to end it, I hardly believe no one from the Community team such as Lixil which is her job to do so, had 5 minutes to post an update. (Why is matt doing lixils job to begin with.)

    Merged.

this is the final straight of APB.

  3. Thank you guys for fixing the servers so fast 👍 Enjoying the good ping again, of course its non of Little Orbits fault but the server provider, I think you guys should leave them.

P.S., Thanks for renaming the russians so we can report all the russian name cheaters 🙂

NOTE: We hit a snag yesterday with some incompatible CPUs that were accidentally ordered by our vendor and shipped to the new EU datacenter. Replacements have been organized and shipped locally. I'm working with our team over there to expedite things.

Not a surprise, cant wait for the compensation when EU players get playable ping :).
Funnily enough, its always someones else mistake but not LOs.

    Merged.

And also, Will you be able to get an account wide bundle of all the rewards and items like it was possible with the Halloween items? That would be good for people who dont have time to do the event

    Hi there,

We are definitely running late on this event, but I'm the one holding it back till we can get EU servers online. In my opinion, it makes no sense to waste all the hard work and effort that we put in this year, when a significant amount of the population wont play due to terrible latency.

I'm still waiting on an update from our EU hosting vendor to make the final plan.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Hey, Thanks for the premium compensation while EU servers are still in NA (who is in charge of compensating while the problem still here?)
also, I think its time to start posting updates on the MAIN game forums and not on social media.

This is a problem with low population, not really the lack of threat districts. Most good players stopped playing this game because... well I don't think I have to explain that, and what is left are mostly average and below average casual players who probably don't play at even 60fps.

If population was bigger there would be much more variety of players in both teams and you would meet good players more often. And there could be some matchmaking mechanics introduced so people don't get bored of winning all the time, e. g. making teams who are on win streaks vs each other.

And if someone doesn't want to get "random noobs" on their team. Well, that's what groups are for.

dont remember having a problem getting opposition with the current matchmaking system

    A couple caveats:

We are missing some network equipment and a bunch of district boxes that got stuck in customs for the new EU datacenter. This means all of EU will be temporarily running on districts in New York for a couple days till we get the new EU location online properly. And all platforms will be running Financial and Waterfront with no threat segregation for a couple days.

    joke of a company.

Those are Matt's personal numbers. Using a laptop is quite a bit easier if you're frequently on the move.

He literally says that the different machines were used which also needs to be done. His specs were on the lower end of the machines used for this comparison so it seems fairly logical to me that the others are desktops

Doesnt matter, You dont post personal numbers from a HQ CPU to "track" an engine upgrade, its like the first ever blogpost we received with the engine upgrade benchmarked on 4K Ryzens only.

99% of the people wont play this game in 4k and not everyone uses a Ryzen.
    Unprofessional.

Second, we took this new stats engine and ran a series of test runs that isolate as many variables as possible. For instance, we tracked performance in Financial at midnight across APB 1.20 and APB 2.1. We use night time, because the game generally runs worse at night due to the extra lights that turn on. Each of us used different test machines, but mine was on the less powerful side with a 4 core i7-7700HQ @ 2.80GHz, an Nvidia GTX 1050, and 32GB ram. For the test we ran at the highest settings but used 1024x768 windowed mode to generate a lot of windows background interference. We also run no vsync and no smooth frame rate to get the highest rates possible.

Who benchmarks a game on a laptop? just goes to show how professional everything is here.
Also this engine upgrade doesnt matter as long it wont fix the stutters.
