    People having been saying that for years. It isn't a new phenomena.  I am not saying there aren't people dethreating and such, but there does come a time when there are silvers and bronzes who have been playing the game long enough that they should be matched against people of all skill levels. How many hours of game time does an APB player need until they are considered a veteran? When I played in the bronze districts for a few days with my new friends we had legit matches most of the time. Sure we had the occasional rank 255 silvers with Volcanoes and whatever else, but you suck it up and you play, win or lose. 

     

    Sooner or later you have to point the finger at yourself and accept that either you need to get better or accept the fact that others are going to be better than you. Your skill will never increase if you're playing bad competition all day. 

     

    It's just hard to take these threads and comments seriously when you hear "everyone is cheating." "everyone is dethreating" "everyone is using a trigbot," etc. 

     

    What makes me so unique in my 6000 hours that I don't encounter these issues on a daily basis yet others do?

    I introduced some new players to APB a little over a month ago. I played with them in the bronze server on a newly created account. I saw a lot of bronzes and silvers. Play the game long enough and you should be able to compete against most players. It takes time. There is no innate advantage one player holds over another. Takes a backbone and some patience like everything in life.

    If you truly think that then the game is dead. You’re not going to get a new action district map and new missions. It isn’t going to happen. 

     

    All games have have bugs and people will abuse them. However there are no huge game breaking bugs that a team can exploit and guarneteee victory each time. There are only a select few and most of the community isn’t aware of them. 

     

    How can you say G1 has a high tolerance for cheaters when they banned so many people? Why do you think they put on name and shame? They did it for Lily’s of the world. Even though they banned anyone with any type of skill people were still convinced everyone was cheating. The Lily’s of the world would be satisfied if they are the only player left on the server because it would vindicate their belief of “so many cheaters.” 

     

    I don’t mean to sound rude but if you think cheaters are the big issue in APB you’re simply not good enough.

    and your tripled is to doubt, if you look at steams tatistics you see an increasement, yet it already starts decreasing again because nothing really big changed.

     

    Seriosuly get better if you think everyone is cheating. I hope players leave who think everyone is cheating rather than convincing Tiggs to ban legit players. Why would any half decent player want to invest money knowing the CM perma bans for ridiculous reasons? I know I played a lot less after losing friends due to unfair bans. 

     

    Doubt the numbers all want. It doesn’t surprise me. I actually play on NA. The population was 200-250 on a good day. We are at 700+ now despite what stream charts say. We went from 1 silver district to 3-4 sometimes even 5. Many of my old friends have returned full time and have spent money. 

     

    Keep doubting all you want and keep your narrow perspective. It’s just funny in my 8 years of playing this game I never thought cheaters was an issue. I played a game against a streamer last night and watched the reply and he was convinced my team was cheating and using trigger bots. 

     

    It is that insecure attitude that kills the game. People quick to think their shortcomings are not the issue and blame others.

    In one thread you’re talking about how there are so many cheaters in the game. In this thread you’re saying people can use macros all they want because they aren’t harmful. Macros are cheap.

    Yeah. The reign of Tiggs really helped the game by banning the population because they sold shirts, criticized Tiggs, said they were 12, and played summit on stream. 

     

    Coincidence the population has almost tripled on NA? Coincidence people are coming back to play with their friends who were banned? 

     

    The management of the old team killed the game while you celebrated those bans. Wake up and face the fact how duped you were.

    I was never trying to discredit you. I was asking for clarification.

     

    How do you calculate your statistics? Seems like many people in the gaming community are an expert on statistics and spotting cheaters. When did G1 say they would lose 80% of their player base? You think all those silvers and bronzes in the bronze district are cheating? I've played this game for a pretty long time and I haven't encountered cheaters at the same rate you claim. I wonder why?

    Yeah, I know what he is getting at, but he said it can be tiresome to scroll through all the weapons. If you use the built in sort option you don't have to scroll as much. I am pretty sure the load outs and favorites and such is limited with the current engine of APB. Hopefully we can see something like that if the engine ever get upgraded because the interface needs a big overhaul in all areas.

    I do not think Little Orbit is allowing people to cheat. BE has been around less than a week. Let them collect some data so we can avoid the false bans that killed the game under G1. 

     

    How come the other players have to be cheating? Is it a possibility they aren’t cheating and just better? Before Little Orbit purchased APB the forums were full of “get BattlEye, get a client side anti cheat.” They did just that and we still have threads claiming there are a bunch of cheaters. 

     

    People will never be satisfied and it will never end.

    What do you actually think about giving us a Option about sorting our Inventory.

    Many Players have TONS of weapons in their Locker and mostly it takes long time (when the Supplybox is open) to search them.

    There could be a Function about sort our inventory yourself or setting up Weapons as Favorite so they appear on top of that Weaponslist.
    Or (if possible) saved Loadouts where you can save several Weaponloadouts like we have it already with the Clothings

     

    You can currently sort your weapons based on the type of weapon they are. So if you want to switch to OCA, select submachine guns in the pull down menu. 

     

    I agree though that favorites and load outs would be a nice addition but it probably isn’t possible until they update the engine. Until then we wait.

    It's a small application that fixes a minor annoyance in the Windows OS that came about with the advent of Windows 7. It basically automatically sets the CPU priority for an application. 

    From the website: 

     

    When I upgraded my PC and added a new graphics card and faster processor APB was subjected to constant crashes. I found that for whatever reason the OS was not lending the appropriate resources to APBprogram so I have to manually set the CPU priority to High or Realtime in order to prevent crashes. 

    I am one case and I'm sure there are many others that have done what it takes to continue to play the game we love. I am a clean player and have never been banned for anything across my MANY, MANY, MANY accounts. I love this game. I don't want to login and get beat on for using an application that made APB playable for me 😞 

    Please advise!

     

    Email BattlEye support and ask them. They will get back to you and let you know if their anti cheat will detect it or not. Best to hear it straight from them.

    I am sure all of those who were falsely banned are very appreciative they are getting their accounts back, however many put a lot of work into their accounts, spent real money to obtain certain weapons, etc. Why is it beyond you that some people might be upset their accounts are missing items? Isn't the progression, money, mods, weapons, etc what makes your account your account?

     

    Just because you weren't affected doesn't mean you should lack all empathy.

    I have no issue admitting when I make mistakes or when I am wrong but you're not going to get me to apologize over something I didn't do. Will those who gleefully celebrated the FFbans apologize when BE doesn't ban the returning legit player? I have a feeling in a few weeks we are going to hear more "BattlEye doesn't work" posts than "Sorry for thinking you were cheating." I'll bet you all my APB$......oh wait.......

    There is literally 0 discussion to be had because in my mind, it's just pretty much the consensus you have that much customization in your game if you're going to have your game on PC in 2018. The hold crouch or toggle sprint are features that should've been there from the very beginning. When players integrate those features themselves via configuring the ini files I just don't have anything against it and I completely understand as to why they'd do that.

     

    It shouldn't of been an oversight by G1 not to notice that those features were surely needed sooner but decided instead to go with the heavy handed approach and ostracize the players that decided to just implement those features themselves. The Advanced Launcher in itself does pretty much the same thing, it changes features not normally available through the ingame settings, I wouldn't see that as an exploitative tool and I'm sure many other people here wouldn't either. I feel it's a double standard for someone to use advanced launcher and with the same mind ostracize people who edit ini files manually. 

     

    Of course it's a very dumb argument. It boils down to people making excuses for their shortcomings. It's 2018....when you don't want to blame yourself, blame someone/thing else.

    I'll try one more time also. I'll stream live just for you. You won't know if/when I am using a cross hair. You point to the evidence in my game play when you think the cross hair is giving me an advantage. I will then show the raw footage of whether or not I had the cross hair. If you can pin point each time I am using the cross hair and the advantage it gives me I will concede my point and agree with you that the cross hair is pure evil and everyone who mentions it should be bandedededed for being a big mini hecker chet.

     If you want I will stream one night with and without the cross hair. To make it even better I will not show the cross hair on stream and toggle it on and off. You then tell me the missions I used one and the missions I didnt with some back up to how you know. Fair enough?

    So there is no reason for LO to allow 3rd party crosshairs, or to add static center dot crosshairs in game.

     

    Keep assuming things without facts to back them up. I know facts are challenging and scary for some people. Feels over reals. I offered you to prove me wrong, you refuse to do so.

    There are plenty peeps like you on twitch Lily. They aren't banning people over it because they know it would be a bad idea. On Jan 1, 2015 is when the policy went into effect. Has ANYONE been banned for shaders and/or cross hair in that time?

    So all we can do is discuss. All I am saying is having a center dot is better than guessing where your center is. Might not be a big difference, but it would be different.

     

    Aren't custom shaders against TOS? Did they specifically say cross hairs themselves are? Either way, people are streaming with both custom shaders and cross hairs and they are not banned. I really think you'll be safe for the 6 hours of play time I am asking for. Plenty of legit third party programs allow you to use an overlay.

     

    You and your crew means you and those who think it's an unfair advantage. This is why I am asking you to do it. Rather than just assuming it's an advantage I want you to do it and then show me the advantage it gave you. If you actually do it and realize it gave you no advantage then you'd be in the other camp telling Lily and co. that it really isn't a big deal worth complaining about and that is is far from cheats.
