Numbers speak for themselves. How many pve centric clans have come to tbe game. How many are left today.

Pvers want pve dungeons and raids. A single world boss is a few minutes content. The other pve endgame is...laughable.

I am speaking for all the people that have left. FE has always had the image of being a pvp game only. This image is even on this forum itself.

Notice there is a pvp sub forum...and no pve sub forum. Its been systemic on the devs part up to now that they want the game to be a pure pvp affair with some very lame pve tacked on as an afterthought.

Love them or hate them, pve dungeon instances are part of mmo staple that vast swathes of people want and expect to find in an mmo. Using old assets, they could pump out instance after instance, giving people what they want.

Ahh yes 'a pvp subforum and no pve subforum'. Last I checked pvers typically don't derail threads constantly as pvpers used to. As a co-leader of exile and likely an officer of foe you probably remember how that went on the forum with pvpers correct? Welcome to the point of the pvp forum. It was originally added to these forums to mitigate pvpers derailing with their drama/banter of the time.  Just to settle that point quickly. In case you forget...the constant derailing and cleaning of threads due to you guys and wolves.

The thing is FE has dungeons and that sort of thing, but you seem to forget something...dungeons were/are against the core organization of FE. Crafting was always meant to be central to FE as was scavenging. So likely it was an organizational conflict more so than the 'we just love pvp so much uwu'. In hindsight and for continued replayability this is an issue and no one really disagrees. The thing is how to approach this while keeping these things in mind...the devs post alpha forgot how this worked and the importance of this and it only hurt the game. So dungeons are good but it would be how to implement them without trying to shove it down peoples throats like dome.

When I craft now I have to completely empty my pack (which is no easy feat).

Since i can't carry much but what I'm crafting  (especially on low level characters) I'm stuck standing in a town, doing absolutely nothing except checking crafting. It is boring, a pain in the neck and is NOT making the game enjoyable.

I like to be able to free roam and DO stuff while I craft, not be restricted. Helping out people with mats when they require it is such a pain now, it isn't worth the effort unless you have a merchant near by you can buy the mats for them.

UGGHHHH crafting is a central part of FE and right now no splitting is making it unbearable.

To be fair Nysek's suggestion to sell...move the stack then rebuy what was sold is the best bet for going around it. I've joked it's permanent but it is likely a short term seal to plug the leak so they can do a proper repair, or at least in the meantime mitigate any damage or perceived damage.

Although a bandaid for the bandaid would be to disable weight as nysek also suggested(but this would remove the point of the flag bandaid).

Instead of using google search engine, try searching in the wiki itself for what you need. Google is plagued with getting things wrong in its search.

And where did you gain this info for anything Little Orbit intends to implement in FE? So far I see no where this information you have given as being said by anyone from LO.

    Making wishes seem real?

Probably referencing the old knowledgebase if I remember right, but that could of been an icarus thing. It's a vague memory though as it was a slightly expanded instruction manual if I remember correctly(aka somewhat useful as a new player but that's all).

At the moment I'm just chalking him up to telling tall tales, especially as some of the ideas he has fielded don't address issues and add their own. So likely wishful thinking on his part...also strange considering they are still dealing with the proper functionality of FE before any real changes.

Stack splitting should obviously be reintroduced, duping is the issue.

The matter of the fact is the old company did not give a damn about the players or the game, the dupe was out in the open over 5 years and not fixed.

This is not a permanent thing, they applied a band aid and gave the game away as a part of the APB sale.

Many games have had this exact dupe and fixed it overnight when it was found, it is literally the most common dupe.

I duped of course as did many players, the dupe is actually as old as the game *I assume* so imagine how long this was being used quietly before 2013 and the developers were aware.

To sum it up, you will have your stack splitting soon enough and no more duping. I personally think we need a server wipe and all webstore coins refunded as "store credit". Maybe some other loyalty rewards to the old players who did not spend anything.
As the game currently stands there is always gonna be someone with 10,000 gingerbread, 10,000 DT serum, etc.

The game will never be balanced again without a server wipe or item wipe.

Except those are minor balance issues at the end of the day and can easily be mitigated. DT serum was only a 'rare' commodity when DT was a valuable or needed commodity. And gingerbread is a minor benefit in the first place. I personally can't think of an offseason consume that is truly valuable...gingerbread is the closest and with where speed sits currently it's more of a gimmick. There is also the fact the consume system needs to be revamped in the fist place...it's about 5/6 years out of date.

The better argument would be for mats for weps/suits before anything else. Then again the smarter ones would be turning these into suits/weps due to the duplicate tag being removed when doing so(likely at least).

Prev owner cared to much bout PvP content, and look where it lead us...so yeah, there will be a price reduction/other methods to acquire said weps. Some PvP zones rework too. Likely, zones will give DT bonus(compared to outside world), and PvP will be reduced to flag - u want it, flag urself, and PvP all around. No - well, gather mats as PvE even inside the zone, its a free world:classic_wink:.

Yeap because the solution isn't upgrading existing pve weapons or doing dome...nope it's clearly to remove pvp zones. Also the devs up to this point or going forward were just bad at balancing distribution of gain and were too concerned about promoting newer content. At the same time for whatever reason they decided making hybrid equipment a thing(requiring pve and pvp zones to complete), but they forgot that pve players cry incessantly about pvp so it was destined to piss them off(better to keep them entirely split or require pvpers to do pve).

On a side note: rothium gain in pve should probably be increased unless that was addressed before. This is prob the only real hard mat for pvers.

    @OP

Another thing would be to revert the 2.4 patches change to dt gain(i believe it was 66% to 33% for f2p). Maybe increase the dt gain bonus from gtc and tc(this would encourage pvp actually). Potentially also make bar buff increase dt gain if it doesn't(can't remember if it does actually). Also if this is still seen as low...consecutive dt matches played/win bonus(played is better really do to the random factor...maybe just a smaller bonus that caps out relatively low).

  6. Figured HVR threat alone would put it at a-tier if not s-tier for group vs group. So I don't scrim but why is it banned? Is it the only banned weapon? I get 1on1 or general solo dps it would lose to obir/scout, but it's strength is it's control in the first place not it's 1 man army potential.

Also seems odd to put it on the same tier as dmr, which is a niche among niche roles and would seem to almost be a more location counter than a general use/suppression weapon like the hvr.

  7. So I don't have any proper questions directly on FE as they irrelevant until your general view and intent is known. Although I'm curious about LO's understanding of FE and experience with FE.

On their personal accounts what is the furthest reached by the staff of LO?(individuals, but if it isn't a 'face' of LO their info isn't needed just say level or so)

Were there any particularly noteworthy memories for any of said individuals?

What are 3 positive aspects and 3 negative aspects/aspects needing improvement that they noticed while playing?

If they had experienced pvp what was their opinion of it?(pvping in general, pvpers they faced etc)

nudity generally gets a game a higher rating than just violence and bad language, especially in places like the u.s. and australia

you can make the same argument for “why a new car” that you made for “why a new gun”

the belgium and netherlands laws are more than likely going to spread across the eu at the very least, it’s far better to get ahead of the curve

Last I checked multiplayer usually doesn't receive a general rating. So unless they add nudity themselves then it wouldn't have a higher rating. Otherwise anything with an online component would have M rating or the equivalent as a baseline.

Cars are limited in general and there has been what like 2/3 new ones since g1 took over where as there has been what 20+ new weapons? With most of these being redundant or garbage because of gimmicky shit.

Yeah it's best to plan for it. Still idiotic, but whatever nanny states will nanny.
