  1. People are quick to make fun of the guy, which is a big mistake because there's something to learn from this video, from the pov of this new player. New players quitting before even getting into it properly is a failure for the developer. It can be avoided to a much higher extent. The tutorial should be so overly clear that anyone can understand it and get into it. It should be eaiser to learn how the game basics work. The tutorial (which didn't even exist for a long time) isn't good enough.

I mean 1% of all players in APB is 20 people,
Yes, and 20% think they are the 1%

There is this absurd "who to listen to"-scene in the community, deciding amongst themselves who is da man to listen to. Then they gather and talk for ages, and the outcome will be some lists with balance changes or requirements etc which they then oficially present, because they think they are spokespeople for the community.  Like when LO had voluntary GM positions to fill and these "important people" started threads to decide once and for all who should be chosen. No 1% is that unaware of themselves. The true 1% you probably rarely hear from. The self-appointed ones are like a herd of monkeys deciding who among themselves is the leader of the zoo they're in.

  3. I'm going to take a guess that you're new to the game. Getting 1-hit killed by something that you haven't unlocked yourself seems OP, but then you unlock it yourself, try it out and go "ooh... never mind".
If you're not new to the game, I'm just going to say that there is nothing OP about it. It's a skill based and strategic weapon. The majority chose to not use it, and that's not because it's OP.

  4. People can't be arsed to constantly switch to the very best weapon for the current situation all the time so they go with the n-tec because it's something you can get by with, thus you see it in the killfeed all the time. Seeing something a lot doesn't mean it's OP. That's the strength of it. in cqc, basically any standard dedicated cqc weapon beats it. Same with above mid range and long range.

If people are beating you with n-tecs at ranges where you're the one with the best dedicated weapon, then it's because they're better than you, not because they're using an n-tec.

When the game came out like 8 years ago, anything high performance of todays standards didn't even exist yet and would on paper have been seen as extreme overkill, yet with APB you can't guarantee exactly what you'll get out of it because it's not optimized for what we have today. That's why it's not worth building around. I say just get whatever the best is you can get for your buck.

All this patches throw APB off-course of stability. I mean adding stuff partially on one and then on other engine, putting them working in one game can throw off even most powerful PCs.
Yes exactly, so I'd just abandon the APB build idea and get something I know would work great for me in general.

Can the 'Scoped' N-Tec variants get a buff? They have bad ads accuracy when moving for seemingly no reason compared to the regular N-Tec. Is there a reason for this, because I don't think it has any other benefit over the regular N-Tec either, just this handicap.

Scoped N-Tec has better accuracy than the normal N-Tec when not moving, which is why it's compensated that way. Scoped N-Tec also has a little bit less recoil and slightly more zoom.

Reducing the damage of the HVR 762 when it's not perfectly accurate

What does "perfectly accurate" equate to here?
Full damage only when at maximum accuracy (tightest crosshair)? And how would the damage scale? Dynamic scaling or in two steps?
