  1. Have updated the first posting, which now includes an overview of the uniforms in use (not all are shown currently).
  2. @FirstCommander Nice - thanks for posting the video from last night - we were really cutting that one very close, but thankfully managed to finish it (despite the interference from that griefer)
  3. Thanks Matt and LO. Hope all of you and other gamers around the globe are doing OK and are as alright as possible at the moment.
  4. @ FirstCommander - Love the videos you made, well done mate and thank you for sharing!
  5. I have spent a lot of time during these past 2 days enhancing and updating our clan vehicles and uniforms. Should you see me in the Social District, I might be busy with further customisations and thus not respond to any messages or wispers in a timely manner (especially since I might also be AFK from time to time).
  6. Awesome FirstCommander! Also I have now updated the first posting and added some of the new things like the brand new Sheriff vehicles.
  7. We also had loads of fun the other day with Fenton and FreFa, spending at least 30 minutes just looking at each others police and EMS vehicles in Miri Kent's parking garage. Thank you for that guys!
  8. Yeah I am hoping to reach that "magic" posting number that finally will grant me editing access soon, especially since there are some updates that I would like to make.
  9. Nice to see you here FirstCommander, will get the mistake you mentioned fixed right away.
  10. @ Fenton / Ellen - Sorry if I have missed any messages while working on some updates and some brand new vehicles in social these past days (I often leave it open and am sometimes AFK as well).
  11. How many postings does one need to be finally able to be granted the ability to edit one's postings?
  12. @ Fenton - Especially like the Vegas and of course the Broadwing variant. Nicely done mate! @ Ellen - Thanks for your interest, of course you are very welcome to join up.
  13. @ Fenton - Awesome work, thanks for sharing those pictures! Could I trouble you to show off the NYPD Retro police car, that I have spotted in the list of one of your postings? @ Ellen - Thank you very much!
  14. Hello, I do not seem to be able to edit my forum postings, but would like to be able to do so (there is no "edit" button). I hope you can help. Thank you, Foxtail
  15. @ Fenton: Thank you Fenton! @ everyone: We have now also added the Belgian Federal Police (Police Fédérale / Federale Politie) to our line-up (note that the uniforms are not done yet).
  16. This clan's main goal is role-playing officers of various real life police forces and law enforcement agencies from around the world. Currently we portray the following law enforcement agencies: Los Angeles Police Department (which is our main roleplay focus), Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Boston Police Department, Chicago Police Department, New York Police Department, Austrian Federal Police (Bundespolizei), Belgian Federal Police (Police Fédérale / Federale Politie) as well as Belgian Customs Service (Douane Belge / Belgische Douane). Each agency uses distinct uniforms, equipment and vehicles - all customized to look like their real live counterparts. Note that, since we are an international clan with members from different countries, the main language used is English. Vehicles & Uniforms (Selection) Pursuit Videos (Selection) What do we do? 98% of the time our officers patrol the streets (just like their real life counterparts), looking for open world crime taking place (i.e. criminals robbing citizens, looting shops, stealing cars and fencing stolen items). If an officer comes across any crime in progress, he/she will try to activate an official mission against the suspect (which is something enforcers can do, if the circumstances allow it) and then try to arrest the criminal. If we are lucky, a long hot pursuit through the whole town will ensue, with the criminals trying their best to shake off the pursuing units. We had some really great car chases in the past, with some truly epic moments for both criminals and officers. Our officers are asked to always carry at least one Less-Than-Lethal weapon, since arresting encountered criminals is our main priority (deadly force is only ever used as a last resort and should rarely happen). It should also be noted that our official clan vehicles do not have any vehicle mods installed. The reason for this is to make them fair to be used even against low level or new players. Similarly many of our members choose not to use any player mods, high level weapons or weapon mods - all in order to create a more level playing field. The result is of course that the game usually is very challenging, regardless of the level of encountered suspects, and our officers usually get hurt a lot (since they also try their best to make arrests regardless). LAPD Squad in Action Officer Foxtail and Officer FirstCommander both have made and posted several videos, showing the type of patrols and roleplay that we do in APB. Here are direct links to three examples that were posted in this thread: Video 1, Video 2, Video 3. One can also watch all of the videos on Foxtail's San Paro News & Pursuit Channel and FirstCommander's Jajavst Gaming on YouTube. How to join? To join us, you can do one of the following things: - post in this thread to let us know your intention to join and we get back to you - send a forum message to Officer Foxtail, Officer Deckard or Officer FirstCommander - contact us in-game (only a good option when we happen to be online) Try-out phase & issued member assets New members are issued an official clan uniform, as well as a clan police car, but only after having successfully completed a "try-out phase" and having been with us for a while. During the try-out new members ride along with our senior officers on patrol and get to experience the type of police roleplay we do first hand. That way they can better decide whether they like it and want to stay. At the same time we get to see them in action and thus can gauge whether they are a good fit for this clan. When on duty and patrolling the streets together, clan members are expected to always wear a police uniform (either the issued one or a self made/bought one) and drive a police vehicle (either the issued one or a self made/bought one). In any case when and whether or not any asset is issued is always decided on a case by case basis. Important: When a player leaves the clan, for whatever reason, he/she is of course expected to return all issued assets. Clan rules and regulations This list of mandatory rules and official clan regulations has to be followed at all times by our members: - have a trainee (new), green, bronze or silver threat level enforcer character (most of our members are bronze); but due to the threat level removal this is no longer in effect - be at least 18+ years old and display a mature, respectful behaviour towards members and other players - have at least a basic understanding of the English language (as this is the main language we use to communicate with one another) - be friendly to all clan members as well as all other players and clans (even if you loose badly) - follow clan regulations and directions given by lead officers while playing grouped with members, especially in RP situations - have to abide by the TOS of APB at all times - absolutely no obnoxious or abusive behaviour (aka griefing) of any kind towards members, other players or clans (violators will be reported) - absolutely no hacking or other game manipulation of any kind is tolerated (violators will be reported) - absolutely no discrimination or racism towards anybody on any grounds (violators will be reported) - absolutely no behaviour, tendencies, statements or display of symbols or texts that are in any way affiliated with national socialism (violators will be reported) - no selling or giving away of clan logos, clan vehicles or clan uniform pieces without explicit approval from our clan leadership and the item creator Failure to follow the above rules will result in an immediate dismissal of the offender and - depending on the type of offence committed - could also result in a report being filed. Where can one get/buy your logos, emblems, uniforms and cars? (as this point has come up a lot) Please note, that none of our assets are for sale, nor are any assets given out to non-members. LAPD Squad Discord Channel For those of you who prefer discord over using the APB forum we also have an official LAPD Squad Discord Channel: Additional information Having a microphone is definitely NOT needed to play with us, since we prefer good old text messages (all voice messages are switched off on purpose). The clan has been established back in 2014 by StevenDeckard. After a longer period of inactivity, the clan has been reactivated in December 2019. APB crime types & associated radio codes used by our clan -------------------------------------------------- Should you have any additional questions please feel free to post in this thread or contact one of our officers.
  17. Free bump from the "LAPD Squad" - we loved riding out on patrol with you the other day. For everyone who is interested in the Metropolitan Police you will find very authentic and detailed looking vehicles and uniforms as well as great guys to RP with in this clan. See you on patrol again, Officer Foxtail LAPD Squad
