I don't think they like us. Even maint posts if they make one are thread locked.

I doubt his ama will include a fast path to gold, or immediate pve options. 

A crim can steal but a cop has nothing to do but fight.

First off there isn't enough time daily or in my life to do so.

The Man says oh don't worry about golds just have fun, as if gold isn't the main objective of the game. 

I consider the thread locking a bad choice as far as customer service, I consider the almost immediate Kick warning

for inactivity ridiculous, even if I'm k up, then u go inactive and it removes you from the mm and you have to hit k again.

not to mention game + website has been down since yesterday, now full 24h+ with 0 info from little orbit anywhere (well no clue on discord as i'm not on discord server since i didnt even know apb has one...)

We got hit with the Cring Ransomware cyber attack around 7am Pacific 8/11

The team was alerted nearly right away that one of our servers was behaving strangely

We're taking a fairly aggressive approach on this. That means completely wiping anything that was in the blast radius. It's a lot of work. But I want to make sure we dont have to do this again.

The attack is pretty straight forward. It's just a bot that exploits vulnerable surfaces to get inside the network and then it starts encrypting whole drives and asks for a massive Bitcoin payment to unlock them. If any of you.. uh.. hackers.. know these folks. Feel free to punch them in the face for me.

We're through the hard part. We are working non stop to bring things back. I'll keep you guys posted. We were in the process of staging a LOT of new stuff all at once - Fallen Earth PTS servers, new backend World Servers for APB, StoneHold launch servers... I want to get back to that.

I dont yet have an ETA from the team. We're bad at that. I wouldn't share it if I had one. Sorry. But we're going as fast as we can.

I also want to apologize for canceling two streams in a row. I'm a bit exhausted at this point. I think I may just do a round of blogs for each game to post (1) updates and (2) answers to everyone's questions. Then I will schedule a new AMA to talk on stream with viewers and review things. its very possible that the current format with all 5 games in one stream would have been.. 10 hours long.
