UltraMES187 19 Posted June 13 This game is just beyond broken and done. Terrible player numbers, broken weapon balance, spawn system is trash and matchmaking is a joke. And the amount of people having super godlike aim and prefire is just hilarious at this point cause they know there is nothing happening. And they are focussing on bringing this unplayable mess back to console..lmao I just cant anymore...I really regret still spending money on this dead horse in the last years. Obviously a few devs only working on this wont be able to ever fix this mess of a game sadly...soooo much wasted potential

Trust me the rest of us who only play video games maybe 1-2 days out of the week would really appericate it Bruh, APB is not a complex game to do this stuff in due to lack of interiors and flanking opportunities; ~3 people can easily corner spawns. Quite frankly, many of the points are absolute death traps and funnel you in from a couple directions to begin with. New players won't know this though and even experienced players become very predictable. Ranting at Revo isn't going to change the fact that APB has a niche market, and therefore will have niche gamers who spend most of their time in it and learn these things. Even to this day, I'm not really sure there's a game quite like it, which is kind of shocking, tbh...

In the user's defense, that phrase makes sense within the context of "stereotypical" psychology—what some here called "newbie" thinking. But even newbies vary; they might come to *APB* from other shooters that don't rely on such cramped, trap-filled combat zones and spawn points. I’ve spent a long time playing solo against teams (1v2, 1v3, 1vMany), relying on my own logic and tactics, yet today’s "legit skilled players" somehow know exactly where I’ll be, when I’ll be there, and even how much ammo is left in my magazine... STOP TALKING NONSENSE. You don't seem to be part of the "interested parties" crowd—or maybe you're just hiding it really well while playing the "good cop" (which is a shame). It's a pity, of course, that they stubbornly do not want to add the function of exiting a task or blocking tasks with players from the blacklist to the game. Instead, the opinion of the old solvent players remains a priority. For example, adding another broken pistol with a silencer to the game. And completely ignoring network issues. I wonder if these smart guys from the moon know that network problems and the mechanics of rapid-fire pistol shooting are the main reason for reports of cheaters? If they know this, then why have they ignored it for many years? Why are they sacrificing their player base for the sake of players for whom APB is just another desktop shooter? I don't understand. You shouldn't do that; some people might want to play without sniper rifles or machine guns—or, ultimately, play without you. Always, and for everyone. You’ll never be able to assemble an opposing team for a match. It’s still possible today; I’ve made a habit of staying in the match when faced with those "golden boys" marked with "X"s (teammates who quit right after the match started). This doesn't happen because of the current system itself, but—I suspect—due to the script, courtesy of that "beloved" Artificial Intelligence (as I mentioned in another thread). One thing makes me happy here: like you, I resort to a war of attrition—going AFK and ignoring the opponent while sitting in a truck (the Balkan Kolva, "Killva", ...which became a particular favorite (with the morons riding on the roofs of their Mustangs all over the neighborhood—they explode so beautifully) during the Zombie City event) beforehand (sometimes even winning). I just run the scumbags over without wasting bullets on them (I’m no cheater and don't have 100% accuracy, heh-heh). Of course, an opponent's patience isn't infinite, and a player's reputation tends to spread via word-of-mouth among those who face off against them. Yes anyone with half a brain can see the difference between legits and cheaters. Only the LO staff cant tell. Its not that Lo\Supp\Admin cant tell its because they still make money banning or not, but they lose an income if they do ban said cheater. Also if they ban wave and took a good few seasoned cheaters out then the pop would suffer more and therefor so would their pocket.. Imo i miss the days of G1st and FF..
