MageLO 362 Posted yesterday at 04:12 AM Hello everybody, we will be performing scheduled infrastructure work affecting both NA and EU servers starting today at 4:15 AM UTC and estimate a downtime of 8-12 hours. During this time, NA servers will be taken offline while we relocate and bring core infrastructure back online. Once the servers are powered up, we will begin testing and restoring services step by step, starting with basic access and districts. Please note that servers may come back online gradually, and some instability is possible during early testing phases. MageLO 362 Posted yesterday at 03:47 PM We're nearing the 12 hour mark we would like to provide and update on the server migration. The first servers have been moved to their new locations and are powered up allowing our remote networking team to start configuring and bringing parts of the game back online. However, there were quite a few delays getting to this point which means that we're going to need to extend the maintenance by another 2 to 4 hours to complete the necessary steps to bring the game back online. This has once again caused delays meaning that we are not going to get the servers back online in the next 20~ minutes. I'm guessing it's upload packet loss or jitter. Not enough to affect switching shoulders, but enough to screw up the lag compensation. You can't really troubleshoot it. The in-game /fps diagnostic does not show upload packet loss, only download. Download is usually perfect when measured with wireshark, as in each packet is 33ms apart, the same as the server tickrate. I'm still leaning on it being DDoS protection messing up normal traffic. Another thing that makes me think it's the DDoS protection, is that the server usually crashes when my hitreg was too good. I haven't played recently, so idk if it's still the case but it sounds like it's still the same going by posts on here and on discord. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
