@MageLO unknown error gfac launcher app 3, error 53 gfac launcher. 

 I have repaired the launcher, gone to files n updated gfac, still same error.

Been going back and forth with another user that reached out to me with this same error.

This fix, worked for them.

 

Apparently SixxstagesofMajik was able to fix this by uninstalling recent Win 11 updates.

yea thats the error. there was a win update yesterday, i have no clue how you would undo that. 

and how would that effect my other programs and my os

Check out this short video on "uninstalling" a Windows update.

It's pretty basic.

As far as your concerns regarding how it effects your system in general,
my guess that it would not be a huge issue, but that's your call.

 

The question would be, is this an update that has affected other NON APB player's systems, 
where Microsoft has to release a patch for a "faulty" update...... Or
is this something LO has to fix, cause GFAC is not working because of this Windows update.

i tried that but where he shows an Uninstall click, i have a 'Get more info' and u click it n the browser opens to a how to page for getting said update.

I'm stuck and mad as a wet hen, I'm laying this right in LO's lap, You people don' tlike me so ya screwed me.

I think ya done it on purpose after the discord ban ya still can't get rid of me so ya send a so called bug.

ok so put uninstall update into search and it came up, uninstalled last two update coming on the 30th

restarted, and walla it works. 

However I find this very unsettling, so what i have to stop updating till they put in a fix?

We will have a fix for this on Monday/Tuesday which makes GFAC compatible with the newest Windows 11 preview build.

Fix Monday/Tuesday and maintenance Wednesday >_<
