I think a better question is, what could a player have done to warrant a 2 year trade ban, and not a permanent trade ban? It doesn't make sense to issue temporary bans for confirmed behavior. To be fair, I'm bias against the trade lock system due to it blocking me from trading. I rarely trade, but when I want to, I can't for multiple days. Ff anything about you changes, you're trade locked. Here's the list of things that have triggered trade locks for myself. - OS related updates - Addition RAM - Public IP Address change - Installed another internal storage device - Plugged in an external USB storage device - Logged in on a different PC Besides, it used to be non functional on the first time login. It still might be this way. I could trade, sign out and sign in later in the day, now I can't trade.
