The game is up, but not for everyone. We sneaked into LO testing it, so for some it doesnt work (afaik - some steam users can log in via steam. but it doesnt work for all. G1 launcher seems to work for most).

I'm interested in the marketplace. I'm using a steam account to play the game, how do I know if my G1 account is linked to my steam account?

There should be an option in the G1 launcher to "use steam authentication", was at least earlier. That should work if accounts are linked. I think. I dont use steam, but still trying to help.

 

Which ever way you try - the update takes LONG for some, so tab out and let it do its thing for a while.

The G1 launcher might exit after logging in or after completing the update - should work normaly after you relaunch it.

 

If nothing at all works, then i guess thats just how many people are allowed to log in into this.

Problem is with them they will lock the server and not be on there testing why not unlock it when the devs have all quit so people can least go on there

Cause:

* we might break something (by accident).

* some that got cancer for brains might take the chance to break something intentionally.

* we might see a broken feature that didnt survive all the host / hardware changes, decide that "omg they changed it to crap, noooooo" and cause a stupid riot over something that isnt even going to happen.

* the game may not be in a playable state when devs quit for the day, easier and faster to just lock us out for a while.

* probably something else too, but cant think of anything more at the moment.

 

FE is gonna be fine, looks like you really might find it up and running after the holiday.

yea after my holiday or realistically i come back in 5 weeks and then something else breaks for the next 6 months lol

Well, lets try to be a bit more optimistic, i think xD

The game ran insanely well yesterday, probably the best ive seen during my playtime (since 2014). LO is trying, despite all the crap they got this year, yesterday made it seem like theyre on the good track.

Lets just have a bit of faith and support them, cause they really need it lol.

Heck, they deserve it.

I personally would of left the servers on to the public for the weekend as people have waited 6 months of downtime it would have shown a bit of good faith to the community then closed it down for dev work on a monday but i guess LO devs dont think like normal people..

Or theyre gonna dev it during the weekend too x_x
