why is there no active store in the game?

why is the game completely free? and where can I get items that were previously sold in the store?

Because the game was brought back by popular demand.  *my guess*  When the reboot is live they might add a store, but since this is still the buggy version from the original devs, instead of asking us for money, the new team is giving us access to everything free of charge to hold us at bay until the new reboot is released, then you better have your Creditcard waiting, or an army of bandits and irradiated rats will be outside your door waiting for you

To charge for a game would then require repairing bugs and applying patches to keep up with driver and windows changes.  Since this is the free only edition, it has all of the bugs and none of the support that money would normally go towards. So getting a wastelander T-Shirt for a free upgrade in harvest/scavenger stat...nope. For cash Fallen earth ATV, no. get the point?  you can still earn chips and DT tokens, but trying to get a cool item in the fallen earth internet store, no.  Auction house?  due to only a few hundred players max on the reboot, Auction house is slim pickins.  See you on the server. allow us to give you $10.00 and in return it gives us ingame chips we can use to buy stuff instead of making us spend months earning the chips to buy stuff we need.

i wish we could atleast have the option to BUY some ingame money.

Chips are easy enough to come by. If your having issues i suggest 1 melee farmer toon and 1 crafter toon and selling items you craft. Try to power level both of them to around 35-45 so you can make higher end gear thats worth more to players. Waiting for events is also a good idea getting an item someone with more money then brains is looking for can get you 9y in a few hours.
