d3x0r 0 Posted June 9, 2018 I couldn't start the gawme for a while. I uninstalled and reinstalled and then am able to start the game (with a long list of blocked notices) . And it logs in but when I connect to a district it says my battle eye is out of date; and to restart to update; I have, several times and it's still broken. I wondered if maybe I got rid of beclient.dll it would figure it out and force a new download; didn't help (well, it did, I managed to join a district for a few seconds before getting kicked for no response). So I put that back, and restarted, and nothing changed.

d3x0r 0 Posted June 10, 2018 (edited) Uninstalled, picked a folder that's just on a physical device; and now APB starts and just exits. I don't know; steam keeps thinking it's running even though it's stopped... so maybe a reboot too. 16:06:51: Starting BattlEye Service... 16:06:58: Launching game... 16:07:05: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game. 16:07:05: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\LightFX.dll". 16:07:06: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\System.ServiceModel\1fb4fd4bd54dfaede983e9bbd423224c\System.ServiceModel.ni.dll". 16:07:06: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\LightFX\v4.0_4.8.20.0__bebb3c8816410241\LightFX.dll". ----- 23:06:46 - Log: Log file open, 10/06/18 16:06:46, PID 9704. 23:06:46 - Init: ..\APBGame\Logs\ 23:06:46 - Init: OS details: 23:06:46 - Init: Version number: 10.0 (eOsType 14) 23:06:46 - Init: Windows 10 64Bit 23:06:46 - Log: CreateProc APB_Catcherprogram 9704 23:06:47 - Thread: Thread ExceptionHandler created with stack 262144 and priority 'normal' 23:06:47 - Init: WinSock: version 1.1 (2.2), MaxSocks=32767, MaxUdp=65467 23:06:47 - Thread: Thread Main created with stack 2097153 and priority 'normal' 23:06:48 - Warning: FConfigCacheIni::LoadFile failed loading file as it was 0 size. PersianCheetah 1 Posted June 11, 2018 Hey, looks like it's because of alienFX. If you've noticed, the kick happens just when your device lighting wants to change (to red for crim or blue for enf). Try uninstalling alienware command center. It helped me with the message and kick.
d3x0r 0 Posted June 11, 2018 (edited) Delting DLLs was not required previously. if I reinstall back into the other location I'm sure it will get back to running, with an even longer list of blocked reports. Those are harmless themselves and do not cause it to fail. https://steamcommunity.com/app/113400/discussions/0/1696049513773251615/#c1696049513774046811 11:40:46: Starting BattlEye Service...11:40:51: Launching game...11:40:58: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.11:40:58: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\LightFX.dll".11:40:59: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:/Windows/assembly/NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32/System.Core/b983d407e536ce562888e5fed025e459/System.Core.ni.dll".11:40:59: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\SMDiagnostics\1edbbf5d225582c18615bf5b39d9dd8d\SMDiagnostics.ni.dll".11:41:00: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\System.Runteb92aa12#\470aaea852a5884635382a3998340155\System.Runtime.Serialization.ni.dll".11:41:00: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\System.Servd1dec626#\9b2964384f25d39a188c30da95012f38\System.ServiceModel.Internals.ni.dll".11:41:00: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:/Windows/assembly/NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32/System.Xml/26ba08d77ad2d2a9c9ab358b55f6a70d/System.Xml.ni.dll".11:41:01: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/assembly/GAC_MSIL/LightFX/v4.0_4.8.20.0__bebb3c8816410241/LightFX.dll".
