what about people who use their mouse wheel.

It's actually a more consistent way to rapid fire than a macro as you get physical feedback when scrolling.

should we ban people who change their hotkeys?

Actually it is hard for a person to get adapted from tapping a LMB to scrolling a gun.

You've been using LMB 99% of the times for shooting and u like to change all of a sudden and expect perfection?

  2. Some years ago, i saw a forum post, that 2 players got to know each other cuz of APB, dated for a few years/months and got married. There were pics of the ceremony posted on the forums as well.

I just had a sudden thought about it today. Anything like this happen to you ? Or did you learn some lesson cuz of APB?

P.S: could someone dig that old post? Cuz i couldnt find that. @CookiePuss could u pls dig that for me dude?

man These ppl are known already and its always the same names, my Intention is not ban one single Player, i want that EAC is working and blocks all those beaches using such

programs. when i send a single Video to LO they will ban the one specified Player but dont do anyting against the fact that EAC isnt detecting that shit.

Its not that way bro. They just ban that player immediately since it is already evident that he/she is cheating. They just take the time to find out what kind of vulnerabilities the anticheat has and oughta fix that out. You must understand that the game has many server sided things like walkspeed, runspeed in the client side that's why ppl were teleporting and speedhacking at the first place.

Give em some time thats all i can say.

Well that means you likely have at least 500 hours in game. I'm not sure why you think it fair to be fighting players who have just started.

-Seedy plays the game for fun.

-Seedy says golds shd go to gold dist then we will go to silver dist .

-Seedy says that game has soo many russian players and he hates them talking in /d .

-Seedy and few others believe that phasing would be a solution to this.

Imagine what would happen if phasing was put up..every bronze dist player would be put up with  silver dist players and against silver dist players.

This changes nthn..ppl who are skilled wouldnt be affected by anything, they continue playing with both skilled and mediocre players while bronze dist players are gonna deal against skilled players which has never even thought about. I'd say ppl would quit the game if they never plan on getting better.

    The right thing?

I am not a detheeating gold , and I take the time to try teaching new players.

I am a silver who plays in bronze as well as silver districts , who is not good enough to earn gold or I would not ever be in bronze.

And lets not forget silvers are allowed in bronze just as much as golds are allowed in silver which means I didnt break any rules since I'm not a dethreater.

I take the time to teach new players , and lets face it there are not many new players , but when there are whether they be my team or ops I take the time to teach them without going all out on ops.

So do tell , how is it my bad for doing good for them when I am not a dethreater nor do I go al out on lower ops but take the time to teach them?

Edit : this is not meant to argue but want to see your view to understand more.

I do understand what u're saying. I suggest you to try this

    -Start playing in fc's.

Why fight clubs you might ask me. Fight clubs are for fast paced action. Even a gold threat player who is really good in action districts suck in a fc. I am not talking about someone whos really good with killsteals. It is all about survival and at the same time you can master a set of weapons.

The main thing is you dont have to worry abt a teammate who keep on pestering you to do this do that.

A proper GM would be able to determine whether or not the team killing or AFK is on purpose or not. It isn't hard to determine if something is on purpose. Dethreaters will repeatedly team kill and the incompetent team leader will ignore the team mate's pleas to kick them. Or the person killing is the team leader. It isn't hard for the GMs to look into the team chat either. Most people will apologize for accidentally killing someone or make some sort of reference of 'oh rip lol' that they killed someone on accident.

AFK is another issue entirely. When a dethreater 'AFKs' in a mission they will go to a contact area or some area a distance away from the mission objectives, and they will play around and do just enough to not receive the AFK demerit. Because to them demerits mean they will not lose enough rank or they could be kicked, and they don't want to be kicked as they would lose their dethreat simply because the mission will not count against them.

You don't need to ban people, simply kicking them to the login screen is sufficient. Getting kicked by a GM is a lot more powerful than simply banning someone. It tells the dipshit they were watched and someone saw them doing the stupid. Normal people will reflect on it and realize 'oh no this is a bad thing.' Banning should be reserved for those weirdos who constantly get kicked for such actions and think its their 'god given right' to dethreat because they cry about 'being bad at the game' as an excuse to dethreat and ruin everyone else's fun for their own.

Been a dethreater in the past..one afk, one teamkill, 2 self inflicting stuns/kills would suffice. Few missions like this and ure good as new.

Or do u wanna do it the hard way bro?

Threat system works mostly on the scores. I can jus feed the enemy making him get ez kills and kill only one person without getting demerits. Few missions and done.

Scores like 1-0-12 for few missions ull dethreat.

I can simply say im not skilled enough. A gm doesnt know whether i ran to the guy and did nthn bt shoot thin air. I ll call myself unskilled.

What if i told u i always stay in my mission area and participate in a mission and at the same time dethreat and say gg? I feel bad for doin this in the past srsly.

Both servers have a major issue with how dethreating is handled and how often it is done. Even in the silver district there are people who will play the first 2 or so objectives, and then either team kill you, or go to the contacts and AFK until mission ends.

Jus giving some gms on power doesnt sort out the dethreating prob. What will it prove if im AFK? i could do somethn important in my end than the mission. You do have the kick thing right? That doesnt give a gm the right to ban me lol.

You do have a right in say when u get tk'ed bt he could say it was jus an accident. Unless the gms are watching every mission which is not possible. Afk and 2 teamkills gives them a banning power? Lol

I do agree dethreating is a problem. But i feel like newbies shd get what they play for. It is a diff between someone whoo has x hrs in the game and who has joined recently. Im sure that you never knew abt jump opening doors / jump-lean shooting when u started out

    Merged.

i dot have car surfer, I use the same gun all the time that I got from armas which anyone can go buy. When I am playing with new players, I talk to them and try to help them out.

Take it from me, who was a bronze dist player in the past whos not really good even now. I play mostly in fc and occasionally in silver districts. Play against better skilled opponents and the more u learn. Put it this way. You say u talk to newbies help them and play. The newbie is getting better because of u whos a higher threat. Yet u hate playing against a higher threat player let alone silver district golds, not even the yellows in bronze dist.

  8.  I have seen you and you're a R180+ player iirc. Don't you think you're doing an unfair thing against a newbie who joined the game yday or few days back.

Yeah right you have an ir3 which u bought off from mp or unlocked which has the ability to fire +7m.

You have the hs3  which shrinks ur crosshair to a certain extent and u play against a player who doesnt own any of those or have the slightest idea abt it.

You have a clotting agent/ happy landing which the newbie is not aware of. You can jump from buildings while he cant and you kill him and day gg ez.

Lets not talk abt car surfers.

Lets not talk abt your 4 slotted vegas/pioneer equipped with nitrous3,steel plating vs a newbie who owns a calabria.

Lets not talk abt ur low yields while the newbie thinks that everyone must be having 2 nades how can seedy have 3? Ammo hack?!!!

How did seedy have a opgl and i dont? He simply doesnt aim bt i aim yet get killed by opgl. Am i geeting farmed by this guy?

Are u or are u not abusing the system as well sir?

Peripherals are the single most thing that you can waste money on without getting that much more value out of when it comes to hardware.

Sure having some extra keys on a mouse can be some quality of life additions but nothing that fundamentally makes a difference in gameplay.

If the mouse fits your grip and is comfortable then I wouldn't bother to much about any other technical stats.

As for finding the right rythym. Keep practicing... try to be slower. A comfortable slower rythym is better than an almost perfect with mistakes in-between.

I am kinda new to this mouse world..the extra buttons on the sides of the mice. Are they programmable? Cuz my mice has a button which you can just change the dpi, and doesnt play any significant role other than that.

I wish i had a button in my mice to look behind or to lean.

On a side note..does the mouse buttons are kinda softer than the traditional mice? Like why are they called a gaming mice?

Jus beacuse of some dpi adjustment kry or some extra buttons which u can customise at ur free will or cuz of the rgb colors?

  10. Hi everyone.

Before getting into topic, a quick intro abt myself:

I am just an average player who plays the fc 1.5hrs/day for the past 2yrs. I am not really concerned abt the joker tickets or doing activities( you can call me kill hungry tho') . I was a bronze dist player in the past who regretted for abusing the system wanted to improvise myself, got stomped in silver dist due to various reasons which include getting ~50fps and a ping of ~300ms.

    My prob:

I do know that this is just a thing but the major thing is that i am not good enough. I am just working towards getting better everyday. I have learnt playing few weapons which i have not dared to  touch since i was a newbie. I wanted to play those no matter what and i spent weeks to get used to those guns. Some of them are shaw, carbine, hvr.

I watch player streams in twitch and they do have a decent enough pc for the game which includes a fairly good mice. I am planning to upgrade my pc in a few mths. Now what im wondering is..would it make a diff to my gameplay if i upgrade myself to a better mice?

I have a logitech g90 mice, i know its like too old. The probs which i face are i can tap fire the carbines well enough and the cr762 decently. The prob lies with oscar, obir, fbw. No matter how much i practice i feel like i am not firing them fast enough or miss the targets.

    1. I don't understand how i can fire the carbine easily and suck with a fbw? I know these guns got a rhythm..but the fire interval diff between these two isnt much.

2.Same thing about oscar. How are ppl able to shoot with a rhythm and call oscar an easy weapon?

Pls help me out. Does upgrading to a better mouse help me improvise my gameplay? Or shd i practice more?

Pls note that im not asking abt macros..i am sure i can tap well once i get the hang of it.

TL DR:   Pls read points 1 and 2.

Does upgrading to a better mouse make me a better player?

    And?

We're talking about intentional threat loss here. You do know that right? Threat is based on your gameplay, it doesn't look into the ether and determine what your maximum skill is if the game worked perfectly and you had 30ms, and set your threat according to that. It sets it based on what you actually do in game. If your shit ping is impacting your play, won't your threat reflect how well you do or don't play with said shit ping without you needing to artificially reduce it? Thus putting you on the same peg as players with better ping but less skill who thus perform broadly the same as you?

But hey for fun let's say it's acceptable to dethreat if you have crappy ping. Where does that end, though? Is it okay to dethreat if your PC is a few years old and the game still stutters even with legal configs? After all the game is a performance hog, and the more performance you have the better it's going to be. V. hard to snipe accurately if your FPS drops to 40 as you're aiming.

Is it okay to dethreat for a night if you're a bit tired and not at the top of your game? After all, your aim and reactions will be a bit off. A little dethreating would even it up, wouldn't it?

How about if you just decide you're not as good as your threat level suggests? Can you dethreat then.

See where this goes? Dethreating takes an already n00b unfriendly game and turns it into a complete joke. If you do it, you can't excuse yourself from being part of that damage by arbitrarily declaring that you have a disadvantage that can be evened up by intentional threat loss. If people didn't constantly try and game the system for easy matches it'd account for the fact that you have bad ping, a shit PC, or aren't very good (me), or play missions infrequently (also me), etc. etc.

And this is the true crux of the matter, the time for any fix to threat short of a complete overhaul was at least 3 years ago. The playerbase now won't support something like new threat levels (which would've been a superficial change that probably would've done little anyway), hard district segregation, or my long preferred solution of hiding threat and enforcing district auto-select.

No, i am not saying that dethreating is a right thing. I have played in bronze districts few years back, oh hey i was a silver dist player when han server was based on singapore. I realised after moving here i was hated by bronze dist players for farming them and by silver dist players for not being good enough. Just imagine constant nudges. "Go to the objective faster goddamnit",

"Kill him nooob" ,"why do u even play apb?".

I got teamkilled plenty times even tho i wasnt intentionally trying to dethreat. Jus imagine playing without using a car in apb. Thats how it is for me.

At one stage i realised mission dists were too much and i went to fc's. Never visited bronze dists or silver dists. Its been some years now. Well the good thing happened to me is..now i can kill golds in a 1v1 combat. I can say i kinda got accustomed to the ping.

Some people never choose to do so. Well i still believe i still can improvise my skills and also let the newbies play where they belong.

  12. 34 minutes ago, MrChan said:

Always an excuse isn't there? "No one to play against." "I don't wanna play seriously." "I shouldn't be Gold."

    It's all bollocks, imo.

Sometimes there are some reasons which stop you from doing certain things.

Take my case of 310ms ping. You oughta have faster reflexes in order not to get killed. You CANNOT play certain guns. Yeah you heard that right.

    -Playing shotguns is not possible.

-Good luck playing with a fbw or rfp-9.

-forget about playing obir or oscar.

Now lets get into the tougher part.

-Hvr. It is not as easy as players think in a high ping.

-ntec. One of the most versatile weps in the game suffers.

    Now come to gameplay part.

-Avoid vehicles at all times. Both driving and dodging a vehicle. You think you dodged a car, bt you get killed.

  13. Opinion from someone who has 300ms.

Obeya. It is considerably easier to master than the ntec itself.

Ntec can be fired in full auto in close combat its from point blank to 20-30m. It takes time for a newbie to get adjusted to the bloom and to fire in controllable bursts. If you cant control the bloom, youre gonna end up with plenty of ghost shots.

Incase of obeya, its a rifle which just depends on your tapping speed. Considering that you have a decent mice and a good tapping rhythm, No one is gonna stop you. You oughta use your secondary weapon in case of cqc.

If you ask me the skill gap between a silver and a gold is jus because of the ntec handling abilities.

The problem is that they dont like the game and thats why they leave any player knows that sometimes starting a game is hard specially pvp ones because ypu need to learn from zero certain things the only common thing in shooters is that you have a crosshair and aim to the enemy to kill it but other shooter to be more challenging add recoil or hard to aim when you move so is harder to kill enemies but apb is diferent because you not only have that but ghost shoting lag and bad hit reg so a player that doesnt have enough experience in apb will think that killing an enemy is impossible but its not just practicing and learning where the hitbox is placed when a lag switcher is lagging is not that hard you just kep aiming in one place and slowly move the crosshair depending on their movmenet sometimes it gets really bad and you die but it happens nothing to do apb is a game of both luck and skill the other problem is that new players are overwhelmed by the amount of things apb has that is easier just quit they are just lazy to learn and dont worth anyone time even developing time to try toretain them its better to just keep improving the game and go back to the gold apb era and player will slowly returning and newcommers will see people enthusiasm and will stay because they will see and feel a good game vive evem some hardcore gameplay some players showing off will theow at them that first impact that will make them love apb as it happened to us that we got glued to apb because we all saw how good and entertined the game was also visually enjoyable sadly g1 is decided to kill apb in the saddest way but its not our fault we give the best advice from our pov and they take the wrongest aproach every time because to make a game enjoyable you need to be a pasionate gamer yourself or otherwise you are just a clown ape messing things up and it will end jilling the game i tried to give advice but they wont listen they will never catch up what make a game interesting and appealing and comfortable and enjoyable they arw focused to make the game complicated ao children can enjoy it lol plus the tutorial should be removed an reworked limited to a special district dedicated to teach players the game ropes thats the hardest part for a noob get along with all apb content without aguide and not knowing how to get weapons customize etc.

Dude, what even is the use of punctuation?
