    I really like the idea though, was always a fan of hot rods and just classics in general.

     

    I'm glad you like it. When it comes to "Chevy Coupe Hot Rod" it would be good if it was a separate car and not a skin for "Pickup Hot Rod" it would be an additional award for racing contact.

    You're on a mission, you just grabbed some items that need taken to a drop off, the enemy arrives as you're leaving, they shoot out both tires on the side facing them, you barely have control over the car, it's slowed you enough for them to easily Conc your car, you're dead.  Now you have to come back and try to fight them off long enough to grab the items you dropped when your car blew up, you run out of time because the missions weren't balanced with the ability to shoot out tires in mind.

    1. Why would the puncture of the tires take away fun? In my opinion, it would be more fun.

    2. I understand. Punching tires does not have to bring much to the game. It can be, above all, a visual effect, and the effects of a punctured tire can be, for example: -2% Max Speed.
    For 4 tires it would be -8% Max Speed and gentle skidding.

    if the hot rod is going to have similar stats as the vegas i think it should follow the same price model as well

    imo theres no reason to require JT to purchase something from a contact that isnt connected to the joker ticket store, and more importantly a contact who doesnt give out joker tickets as a reward

    but if you're really set on it prices should still follow the vegas' lead

    • 2slot - 120,000 / 8,000 JT
    • 3slot - 135,000 / 9,000 JT

    frankly i dont think racing is a valid addition at all to apb at this point since theres really only 2 cars that would be used (3, if your hotrod is added)

    everyone's vehicles are also the same because theres no "tuning" system, and the maps themselves werent made to challenge driver skill through racing like a game built around racing from the ground up, so most races would come down to who gets lucky/unlucky with traffic or whoever rams everyone else off the road first

    additionally vehicle handling in general is fairly lacking, with some vehicles performing with more realistic weight physics and some with less

    that said, i do like the idea of apb having something for everyone so ive tried to treat this suggestion objectively
     
    1. This mods are available i 4th slot at hot rod, they can be black for example.
    I don't know why this mods can broke combo witht other mods.

    2. AWD is 4x4 acceleration, I wrote RWD it is acceleration for back wheels. Hot Rod is worst then Vegas 4x4 but when u add special mod at 4th slot it become same as Vegas, u can use ONLY ONE mod at the same time.

    3. New model need a lot of work. finally they add new engine, better graphic, 5 emoticons and better chat font and thats it.
    Pickup Hot Rod is expensive because it will be have special mods at 4th slot thanks to which u can adjust your car to yours preferences, if u need fast car u can pick an "acceleration" mod
    but if u wont carry more u can take an "capacity" mod.
    To chnge these mod u have to go to car spawn and pay $250 so that changing is not widespread.

    4. Is that the contact is for races does not mean it cant have enather rewards.
    I want to add wooden wepon skins becouse I hate these colorfull wepons which are currently at the game. I realy want skins for hot rod but it needs much more work 🙂

    Only 2 cars? exacly 8 Bishada Rapier, Charge Cisco, Growl, Patriot V20 Jericho, Patriot Vegas, Joker Vegas 4x4, and if other  sugestion from the forum will be added it's still  Pickup Hot Rod, MX-5 MIATA {LINK - }

    You wrote that all cars in the game are the samebecouse there is no tunning options.
    there is no car that is in point of fact the same.
    by the way tuninng, I want to add this option for "Pickup Hot Rod" as 4th mod slot.

    You wrote that driving in APB is week, it does not agree with what you wrote here {MAKE APB GREAT.....FOR THE FIRST TIME: A LIST by Triksterism}.
    I konw that driving in APB is banality especially because the fastest car in game cant ride mre then 100km/h, but I cant do anything , I care about it that u can do somthing else than shooting in APB.
      
     It's a bit hard for me to treat your statement objectively but I will try.

    It be great if the game also came:
    -Speedometer( it can be hard to add becouse cars cang go faster than 60mils/h)
    -a little bit more NPC cars ( it make races harder + u can avoid bullet when u respawn at the middle of road untis shootout   
    -Traffic lights should bo much solid (they are not a common obstacle, they should be more difficult to destroy)

    Regarding about reawrds available at new contact, I will be happy to add them if nobody has anything to 1920-1950 years.

    That's what I wrote in the old suggestion. In the current I wrote that the races are to take place in the old waterfront and financial districts. This is at the very beginning. You need to read more carefully.

  4. This is good. However, I think that Light Machine Guns could suffer. You can do so that every tire has (75 Max health) so that LMG will remain useful. Secondary Weapon that have a lot of Hard Damage will also benefit. Tires that are more or more exposed to fire should have (100 Max health).

    I tried to improve the Hot Rod stats and special modifications to make them as balanced as possible. Comparing Patriot Vegas to Dolton Fresno, you can deduce that 50 Max Health of the vehicle is 0.5 m / s, with the help of this information I was able to adjust the special modifications accordingly so that by accident they were not too OP.

     

    In my opinion, car racing should be added to APB as a small escape from shooting and increasing diversity.

     

    Car racing:

    1. A new contact should be added, the rewards of which will apply to the twentieth century, because there are people who like this age like me and APB could provide this and with whom we will earn XP for participation in races. There should be only one race contact that will be on Financial and Waterfront. Same racing contact for Criminals and Enforcer.

     

     

    2. The race can be started after approaching the starting line and clicking (example - F) then the mission will automatically switch on if the second player joins the finish line, it can not be canceled anymore and the 30 sec countdown will be activated, two more players can join. When the players are already moving from the START place, you will have to wait 10 sec to set up at the Start place so that there is no crowds.

    (MAX 4 players for one race)

     

    3. I chose a place where there should be a racing contact and a place START, which should be on the sidelines near the contact, so as not to disturb the players who are currently carrying out the mission.

    4. The finish line should be in a random place. Financial in the distance from Start about 900-1100 meters, and at Waterfront 1050-1250 because there are fewer corners on the Waterfront

    Both Hot Rods were modeled on the Patriot Vegas. The weight in this game is pretty important, but there is no information on the APB DB page about it. The weight is responsible for acceleration and grip, thanks to which the car is harder to push another car.
    From the information provided by a person familiar with motorization "BrandonBranderson" we know that the weight "Patriot Vegas" is about 1.540 kg on this weight in the statistics I gave weight of designed by me Hot Rods.

  7. I am a fan of Hot Rod and I am curious if in the future there will be such a vehicle available in APB. In addition, I think that APB should be a separate mission, or a separate map on which you can race. Many times at Waterfront I saw how players organize races at gas stations :). I think it would be a good idea to introduce races to APB. Cars are an important element of this game and should be developed.

  8. Sorry for my English. You will have to strain to understand it. In spite of everything, I hope that my post will be taken into account.

    In my opinion, 2 weapons need improvement

    1. Vas SW2 - This is a combination of "Light Machine Guns" and "Assault Rifles". If there is something to everything, it is good for nothing. Here it works a little. You can not destroy any car with this weapon unless it is standing still and it is difficult to kill another player. VAS SW2 has a recoil like in an assault rifle and such as in a light machine gun, which makes it difficult to fire continuously and it is difficult to shoot single shots. I think it should have increased
    Damage Per Shot  - 19.5% -> 19.65%
    To be able to place the modification "Haevy Barrel 3", which will slightly reduce the recoil. As it is above all a machine gun should have increased
    Hard Damage - 30.22 -> 31.77 

    2. Colby M-1922 - I played only Colby M-1922 "Hazardous". I did not play this weapon for a long time because it had serious problems with recoil and did very little damage. I can not say anything about her, but it would be good to pay attention to her because she is not a good weapon.
