Yes that's true you can't stop it making gold/silver rank servers, because while we all legit players want new players to have that same fun and build player base up again like we used to have before that insane amount of hacks done to the game happened back then and from around 3-5 months after official release.
It just doesn't happen without small patch at least once a week and anti-cheat with file check at random times without breaking into server files and getting file needed to know that random timing which is a crime after that and file needs replacement so you can't build hack around server timing and file check would make it annoying to avoid every week (MAC bans after 3rd warning), but you also gotta remember nowdays as there are so many who use at least wall hack (yesterday one guy even told it so in district chat) that those are the players who pay the most to keep server bills and paychecks in check.
It worked well with anti-cheat awhile 10 years ago when they patched something every week so maybe friday to tuesday were days without hack users and rest of the week was better to be offline and waiting for new patching.
Started again after 10 years and noticed a lot of wall hacking going on and i didn't care, because i knew it already without even stepping into first mission and next 3 missions were godlike unfair missions, because they didn't care and was just blatant WH gaming (running long distances so that you can hardly see me while lurking behind corners and rotating camera angle or not a single screen that i was on from enemy view and bam dead after first view of enemies when i ran from behind the first corner where one or two could see me first time and hit with rocket straight to my face and it happened couple of times).
I just wanted to give it a go and play again after so many years.
This was clan WASP (from back then) type of blatant cheating if you know what i mean.
And why is it that it's always cops who cheat the most ?
I would assume crims would hack more and it has been like that always.
Also before yelling hackers to district chat you need to remember that there are also veteran players who can efficiently use camera angles and knows every little corner among jump tricks to building areas from that map and how long it takes for you to reach certain spot and when to throw nades (they've been playing with multiple accounts over the years). I'm also guilty doing that when maybe it was not needed after all.
Anyway enough of this jabbering and a little hint for new players who just found the game through friends etc.: Try to look your way into active and helpful clan asking through Social District, but if you're unlucky finding one then try to get a feel for different type of guns and tactics through Fightclub if there are people playing and normal mission district gaming doesn't work for you yet (also use Advanced server option to see all district player amounts).
You can also Google " APB: Reloaded beginner guide "or " APB: Reloaded how to get better " well you'll find those good guide links eventually.
