Steam achievements are broken in 2024, is there any way to fix this on my end?

Hey fellow APB: Reloaded players, I wanted to address something that’s been causing quite a stir lately. There’s this crazy rumour going around that our beloved game is going to shut down on October 27th, 2024. Now, I know hearing something like that can be pretty alarming, but before we all start panicking, let’s take a moment to separate fact from fiction. First off, there’s been no official word from the devs about shutting down APB: Reloaded. Yeah, you heard me right. It’s all just speculation and gossip at this point. So, unless you hear it straight from the horse’s mouth, don’t sweat it. The game’s still alive and kicking! Now, onto the more bizarre part of these rumours. Apparently, someone’s been spreading a story about penguins running amok in the devs’ office. I kid you not. And to top it off, they’re saying these little tuxedo-wearing troublemakers messed with a snowcone machine and somehow wrecked the Mirage Police Kit lights. Like, what even? As much as I’d love to believe this hilarious tale, let’s be real here. It’s just too wild to be true. I mean, come on, penguins causing chaos in an office? That’s the stuff of comedy movies, not real life. So, let’s all have a good laugh about it and move on. Bottom line, folks, don’t let these rumours get to you. APB: Reloaded is still going strong, and until we hear otherwise, let’s keep on enjoying the game together. Stay awesome, everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to shine a light on a game that often gets overlooked: APB: Reloaded. Despite its low player count, this game stands out as one of the best experiences you can have in 2024, and here's why. First and foremost, APB: Reloaded offers unparalleled customization. From creating your own character to designing your own vehicles, the level of freedom is unmatched. No other game allows you to express yourself in such unique and creative ways. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The gameplay itself is intense and addicting. The dynamic missions keep you on your toes, constantly adapting to new challenges and strategies. Whether you're playing as an enforcer or a criminal, every match feels different and exciting. Now, I've heard some people complain about the game being too hard or unfair. But let's be real here – those are just excuses from players who can't handle the heat. APB: Reloaded rewards skill and strategy, and if you're not up to the challenge, then maybe it's time to practice instead of whining. And speaking of whining, let's address the rumors about the game shutting down on October 27th. Sure, there's been some speculation, but nothing concrete has been confirmed. And even if it were true, that doesn't diminish the greatness of APB: Reloaded. We should appreciate what we have while we still can, rather than dwelling on what might happen in the future. In conclusion, APB: Reloaded is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Its low player count doesn't reflect its quality, and those who dismiss it are simply missing out. So let's keep supporting this amazing game and enjoying every moment of it.

By playing in that game with those better players, you're getting better overtime. This isn't the type of game that gifts you easy kills.

Greetings, fellow APB: Reloaded players, I hope this message finds you well. Today, I'd like to address a concern that's been weighing on my mind and, I suspect, on the minds of many others within our community: faction-based matchmaking. As we're all aware, APB: Reloaded operates on a faction system, where players are divided into Criminals and Enforcers. While this system adds an interesting dynamic to the game, I believe it's time for us to seriously consider removing faction-based matchmaking altogether, particularly due to the current low player count. Here's why: 1. **Low Player Count**: Let's face it—APB: Reloaded doesn't boast the same player numbers it once did. With fewer players online at any given time, faction-based matchmaking can lead to longer wait times for matches, especially during off-peak hours. By removing this restriction, we can potentially increase the pool of available players for matchmaking, resulting in shorter queue times and more frequent matches. 2. **Improved Matchmaking Quality**: Faction-based matchmaking can sometimes result in unbalanced matches, particularly when one faction significantly outnumbers the other. This imbalance can lead to frustration for players on the outnumbered side, as well as a less enjoyable experience overall. By allowing players from both factions to be matched together, we can ensure more balanced and competitive matches, which ultimately benefits everyone. 3. **Encouraging Faction Diversity**: Faction-based matchmaking can inadvertently discourage players from choosing the less popular faction, as they may be concerned about longer wait times or facing overwhelming odds in matches. Removing this restriction could help promote greater faction diversity, as players are free to choose their faction based on personal preference rather than matchmaking concerns. 4. **Community Cohesion**: By bringing players from both factions together in matches, we have the opportunity to foster a stronger sense of community within APB: Reloaded. Instead of viewing each other as adversaries, players can come together as fellow gamers, united by their love for the game. This sense of camaraderie can help breathe new life into the APB: Reloaded community and ensure its longevity for years to come. Of course, I understand that this proposal may not be without its challenges and considerations. However, given the current state of the game and the potential benefits it could bring, I believe it's a change worth discussing. I encourage all of you to share your thoughts and feedback on this matter. Do you agree that faction-based matchmaking should be removed, or do you have concerns about the potential implications? Let's have a constructive dialogue and work together to find the best path forward for APB: Reloaded. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Mirage shouldn't be a cop car or available to enforcers at all.

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. Recently, I've been hearing a concerning rumor circulating within the APB: Reloaded community, and I felt it was important to address it here. There's chatter going around suggesting that APB: Reloaded might be shutting down on October 27th, 2024. This rumor seems to be gaining traction, as I've seen numerous players discussing it in the in-game chat and forums. As a dedicated player of APB: Reloaded, I understand the impact such news could have on our community. That's why I'm reaching out to the moderators and community managers to confirm whether there's any truth to this rumor. It's essential for us to have accurate information about the future of the game, especially considering how much time and effort many of us have invested into it. Knowing whether the game will continue or cease operations on October 27th can help us make informed decisions about our gaming experiences and potentially plan for any changes that may come. So, moderators and community managers, if you could kindly shed some light on this matter and provide us with an official statement regarding the future of APB: Reloaded, it would be greatly appreciated by the entire community. Let's keep the lines of communication open and ensure that we're all well-informed about the fate of our beloved game. Thank you all for your attention to this matter, and let's continue to support APB: Reloaded together.

Calling people cheaters using flaws config is silly. That config does nothing but lower the graphics to look like minecraft and make the sky black. It doesn't make you aim any better, doesn't make you see through smokes or anything. I'm a new player that started in March, if I didn't have that config my i7-8700k (overclocked to 4.7-5ghz) , gtx 1080 8gb card and 16gb of ram would, while being able to run the game at ultra, stutter like a spastic kid. The game is optimized horribly, look at the way the npcs move just to get an idea of where we're at and why we use configs. (But kill all macro garbage players, see through smoke files and disabling muzzle effect, anything that gives you unfair advantage)
