Some new NPC cars would be nice and maybe some new NPC's for the heck of it.
-
Why does Matt Scott keep disappearing? What is going on?!
-
It runs somewhat more stable now but still exited to see if they can improve on it more.. maybe have Chatgpt write the code
-
Some extra daily rewards would be fun while we are waiting for more content, this 64-bit upgrade is pretty cool.
-
Hope things will pick up speed from this point, 1.30 dropping was certainly unexpected!
-
1.30 is live now and the game runs SO MUCH more stable, looking forward to what's coming next
-
It was so much fun to block a random street way back in the day, it's not the same as griefing.
-
Looking forward to this interview.
Although people are rightfully skeptical about what they are being told at this point, i believe Matt Scott has honest intentions to sort out APB's messy code and deliver the upgrade.
-
What exactly is the timeframe for the 64-bit update? 1 or 2 years? i hope they can make the game more stable and bring out cool new stuff.
-
Guys we have arrived in the future, all kinds of stuff is happening but those rainy days in Asylum are still the same although they have become a little less frequent.

Yeah it's been like 7 years since the IO growl came out? That's the last update i really remember aside from rebalancing and stuff.
Do you think there is someone in the world who can make sense of the code behind APB?
Maybe AI can do they job, GPT-3 can write entire articles nowadays although i don't know how it does on writing code.
Anyway let's see if more will become clear in the upcoming big accouncement. (that was never officially referred to as a big announcement btw)
Merged.
Another 65 days have passed and still no word from Matt Scott, oh wait too soon.

But ye... APBOh Matt Scott has confirmed to us his aliveness and he has a big announcement without explicitly saying he has a big announcement.
Very interesting, maybe he had found someone who can fix APB or an alien robot AI GF who can fix APB or maybe a ship that can fight underground,
I'm hoping for at least one of those things. It may be a red herring but when the alien AI's do come, i'll be sure to point them towards this game.

''APOLOGIES TO THE COMMUNITY. IT'S NOW BEEN 45 DAYS SINCE MY LAST UPDATE.''
Matt posted that in his second to last post, indeed over half a year ago.
At this point i'm expecting an official statement from Little Orbit on Matt's status..
He's not posted anything on anything on public platforms and that's never a good sign.
Maybe he has some personal stuff going on and i could very well understand that,
but now it feels like we are being ghosted and that is very unprofessional for a company.
Again Little Orbit should make a statement if Matt is ok and how the future of APB will look like.
I am not a hater and i hope he is doing well and we will hear something good about the state of things.
-
Incredibly bussy
Frustrating
Big breakthrough
Rabbithole
Nightmare
TLDR: This is what being ghosted sounds like.

Yeah but why would he go from weekly updates to completely ghosting us? That does not seem like normal either.
Maybe he's just bummed out from all the roadblocks but atleast letting us know would be nice.
-
Seriously can anyone explain what happened to Matt Scott? Is he in the hospital or something?
I know about the APB billboards in Asylum that say ''Say Nothing'' but sometimes not hearing anything is the worst...
Hope someone who knows him personally could just give even the slightest hint about what is happening.
-
At this point people would be happy with any update that improves player experience.
Sad to see it's so hard to make sense of the code behind APB.
Maybe AI or some of the original developers can make it work.
-
Can Little Orbit post a detailed roadmap with actual clear goals?
Like who exactly is working on the engine upgrade?
When is the estimated time of arrival?
Anything more than 10 vague messages a year for the next 10 years?
-
This man had a religious experience and saw the future of APB.

20 hours ago, glaciers said:little orbit sold the apb ip (which means everything) to unit game and are licensed to continue developing apb:reloaded
its likely that the licensing is indefinite and probably also free as part of the sale contract, but they no longer own apb
Unit game will make a new mobile APB game and Little Orbit still owns and works on this game (APB Reloaded)

1 hour ago, NoFuture said:"APB Reloaded" and "Gamersfirst" names work like player-deterrents. Game could have it's last chance if Little Orbit released completely rebadged/renamed version with engine upgrade and new content. But LO went their own way and after failure of questionable-by-everyone RIOT sold intellectual property rights to some shady chinese proxy company. The End.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Again no.
they sold the rights to any FUTURE games based on the APB franchise to a chinese company.
They hold all the rights to THIS game and are still working on the engine and new content.

There were other paths this game could have taken, but the inexperience of everyone who has touched this game brought us here. I truly hope that Matt succeeds with his endeavors of this game, but I cannot see it happening. Maybe after moass I'll make Matt an offer for the IP and we can rebuild this game. :^)
No the rights to the APB franchise were sold to China (You don't care about the franchise, just this game)
APB Reloaded is still in the godly hands of Matt Scott and Little Orbit.
There's no time like the present but for now we will have to wait.
When the time comes i hope God Howard is ready to give up his throne because the continued story of APB will go down in gaming history like none before.

We can be very nice but not naïve and we need some clear perspective on how the game is progressing

They will start marketing the game again to new players and if new content and maps are released, i think APB can even beat it's all time player record.
But only if there is something better on the table than old clunky dunky engine (that doesn't even work on newer GPU's anymore)
OTW testing today!
