what all did apb do better than gta online?
hapygirl replied to hapygirl's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
tbf, i feel like this didnt really ruin the movement. its kind of like it made its own kind like cars being driving APC's and the most terrifying thing not being a drive by or some guy on a motorcycle with sticky bombs, but a dump truck going like 20mps while youre kind of right that the pvp is weird, i cant bring myself to call it bad, (excluding the server, engine and hitbox issues, that sucks) i love that i can just cancel going up a ladder and fall down really easily, i feel like in anyother game they'd force you to go allll the way down slowly just to shoot or do whatever and im alright with the interaction key for ladders and fences stuff, its not as bad as it could be really. atleast we CAN go over fences and it doesnt look like an animation disaster -

tbf sometimes its really fun to outplay people in cheaper stuff, in apb money isnt really a huge concept after like level 50 or so in gta its like a playground, pretty much -

i think apb did ammo better too, in gta you have to constantly go around to either a gun store or the menus to buy ammo, but in apb you just... walk up to a kiosk and you get ammo and health too. here you have clotting agent, which i guess is kind of level locked, but health in gta is such a joke. the higher your level, the more health you have, up until like level 200 or so so playing gta as a lowlevel is nearly impossible, while in apb you could make a whole new account and become gold in your first missions from top fragging i'd much rather have dedicated machines for spawning vehicles instead of a mechanic that SOMETIMES delivers your car next to you, anyway -

shits so easy to start a mission in apb too, you press k in gta you gotta call somebody and ask if its OKAY to do a mission because of a 15 minute cooldown timer or go into some big patootie building and SLOWLY sit down at a desk to press like 2 buttons -

How do you get a fedora?
hapygirl replied to hapygirl's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
why can we just buy it with JT? so weird, thank you -
my friend really wants to cosplay michael jackson but everybody with a fedora wont answer him on how they got it lol

rather than giving us info we can read, and then deleting it in 3 days, itd be cool if we had a glossary of sorts in the mailbox so that we dont have to look it up on APBDB if we want to know something

i feel like for a story perspective this would be kind of weird, but while the game is in the current state of either ALL on one map or ALL on the other, i feel like this should be done temporarily while the game cooks and hopefully has an update someday that brings all the old players back. i'd day when NA servers surpass 200 players at peak, there's no need to keep this feature anymore. but for now, there def needs to be some sort of way to level up any contact consistantly rather than just... going in FIN and ram raiding for 4 hours and getting 1 level because everyone's in waterfront

i want to want to use .45 but i purely just enjoy the FBW and frog's more
-
primaries that cause you to be unable to switch to your secondary entirely for example, dual FBWs or dual stabba pistols, maybe even PIGs, but at the risk of not having a weapon to fallback to in certain situations since dual .45 would be very powerful. they'd probably have to bring up the ammo count a bit, and make them a little less accurate, but still decent at around mid-range so that they can still be used without being either overpowered or underpowered

Topic What do you think of the Threatsystem humiliation system
hapygirl replied to KINGANDI360XXX's topic in Game
i feel like its kind of silly, but i also kind of think we need it? i dont know, i feel like we need some sort of ranking system, but i think it should atleast be hidden to just the player. if not, then dont show it at all, dont even nudge towards it, i get called a moron (slur) silver multiple times a day its really good at immidiently telling what kind of match you're gonna have though, i dont know i like all the logos for all the ranks, but they should probably just be Blue for enforcer and Red for crim but with that, i worry that they'll swap from "stupid (slur) bronze" to "stupid (slur) low level", and ive played enough gta online to know, this will happen -
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i forjot what areai was in

ive had this idea for along time, metal detectors, similar to the ones used at airports, these big guys
